Chapter 33: "Jungle Fever"
Deep within a damp jungle where it's almost always raining, a fog has begun to cloak the entire area in a thick white shroud.
The ground is slick and covered in a strange, silk-like substance that rises up over the trees and strings from branch to branch.
Through the fog one can somewhat make out a dark shape scuttling within the center of the great, web-like structure as it was quickly noticed to be.
Two red eyes gleemed from within, saliva dripped from oversized mandibles.
Around it's throat a pale green pendant began to glow...

  Solaris---Aire
Solaris glanced up from his desk at the slight muffle of a teleport. His eyes widened considerably at who had appeared and he ducked under his desk in terror.
"Please don't throw me again!" He exclaimed to the Gardevoir standing there, but Aire only rolled her eyes and adjusted her hat.
"Relax, pinky. I'm in the mood. I'm just here to let you know I've located the Insect Relic you asked for...so hit that little alarm of yours and inform everyone else." AKA, let the guys who have som common sense know about the problem so we don't all die a horrible death under your command.
The Espeon crept from under the desk and starred up with a confused expression.
"What...what are you wearing a policeman's hat for?"
"My job."
"...your a policeman?"
Aire's eyes narrowed, "No, the costume is part of the job sometimes."
"...a policeman impersonator?"
The Gardevoir raised a hand to her face in annoyance before turning and exiting the room, leaving Solaris to hit the alarm and toddle along after her.
"W-wait up! I wanna know! Tell me!"
"Your one strike away from being HALF the man you think you are, Espeon..."
The implications of the threat went unheard as Solaris continued to voice his complaints.

   Raziel---&--- Jean-Claude---&--- SiggySuddenly, a nearby door was knocked right off its hinges.
"s**t! My bad!" Siggy said, running through the doorway and picking up the busted door.
"Sigs, there are more wood-chips in your brain than on the floor..." Jean-Claude muttered, gracefully gliding into view.
"Duuuuude! How'd you do that!?"
A Cranidos approached quickly, staring at the door in Siggy's hands.
"Hehe, months of doing nothing but work out, little man!" Siggy said, slapping his biceps.
This action, however, was only achievable after he let go of the door, which fell onto his fleshy foot.
".... Ow....."

 ~Raven ~Blight
Raven, not necessarily accompanied by the rest of his team at the moment, just happened to be passing through when the lovely wailing of an all too familiar alarm called him into the Main Hall which still had a lovely draft thanks to the improvised sunroof was added. Patiently waiting for directions per usual the Lucario was secretly hoping for something more leisurely than what the norm has been as of late.
Arriving at around the same time and this one also bringing along a companion of his own, Blight responded to an alarm which he was grateful to not have heard in a rather long time. While construction on the Ice Guild was in progress, a lot more time than usual was spent by both this Buneary and his teammate back at the Sun Guild and surrounding areas. Granted this involved a lot of hanging low and avoiding both sets of their parents, a thirst for adventure drove the young Pokemon to accept the challenge of whatever today's events held for him, despite the risks. Chase was most likely just reluctantly along for the ride...

 PlutoPluto suddenly popped out from hallway. His arrival was surprisingly quick considering the harsh distance between here and there. He seemed tired. Stressed, even. Of course, he had plenty to be stressed about. The world was ending, Darkrai was going to kill all of them, demigods were angry... fun times. He was, however, the guild master. If only temporarily. And that meant he had a duty to perform. " What's the situation?"

Era and Ethfael were ready at the alarm; although they were still relatively newly evolved, it was just the same routine. Riley jumped up from the book he was pawing through with surprise and excitement. The Eevee sensed something was happening and leaped to his paws as Era and Ethfael headed to the door. "That was an alarm, wasn't it?" he asked, although it wasn't really a question, "Can I come?"
Era and Ethfael exchanged a glance. "You may tag along," Ethfael said solemnly, "But I'm forewarning you that things are often in terrible shape when the Guild's alarm bell rings. We've seen atrocities occur there that no Pokemon should have to bear witness to."
Riley felt shivers run down his spine at Ethfael's words, but he refused to let himself be subdued. "I'll be okay," he said, looking at Ethfael determinedly. "You can trust me on that. And I won't turn back, no matter what."
Era smiled slightly and nodded to the brave Eevee, "Alright then, let's be off," she said, "If we take too long we'll be late."
The three promptly arrived in the hall and look about to find a group of others already gathered. They came over to find Pluto and a group of both familiar and unfamiliar Guild Members gathered in a cluster around Solaris and a Gardevoir whom they hadn't seem before. They awaited the news in anticipation, wondering what terrible misdoing needed to be undone today.

  Epitaph- SaileitheSai started down the hall with a casual look of boredom. The sting of the alarm going off hardly seemed to faze her anymore. Her mother, already idle in the Hall looked over toward Sai almost instinctivly as she entered and smiled. It faded quickly as her attention turned toward Solaris' voice... There was another voice she didn't recognize though; a females. Tilting her head for a moment as the two entered, she made a quick connection between the looks of this Gardevior and Alfred. Epitaph was still for a few seconds as she stared at Aire before her thought process finished. Upon that, she looked away again and gazed upon the slowly filling room. Sai made her way over to Epitaph and sat down as she burrowed her mussle into the Glaceon's blue fur. Cleaning perhaps, but Sai didn't care enough to look over.  JavsA rather unacquainted Gardevoir teleported a few feet ahead of Aire as she approached. His screech-like sounding teleport was unmistakable. He gave his casual, almost questionable smirk of a hello before straightening his posture, hovering back out of Aire's path and looking over the guild. He vanished again just as quickly as he came. His sudden presence nothing more than a confirmation of his lurking about.

 AzraWith a sharp crack, a young Riolu appeared, striding through the crowd as though the Pokemon around her meant nothing. Her crimson eyes were fixed on her father as she walked toward the slate-furred Lucario. She was there on a mission, and she did not intend to fail.
"Father, I'm coming with you." The Riolu's voice was still high-pitched with youth, and her eyes held that mischievous sparkle in them, but she seemed to have matured a little bit. She no longer raced about and played games with her peers, instead preferring to train and study, as any boy her age would... well, aside from the studying part, anyway.
"Mother's still dealing with Locke; I came in her place. We're not supposed to answer the alarm alone anymore. Zori's orders." Her eyes narrowed at Raven for a moment, but she relaxed a little bit as she recognized the sight of Solaris.
Aside from her father, the only other Pokemon she knew in the room was the Espeon; their Guildmaster, although he didn't often act like one.
Her gold and white fur was soft and thick, though it remained traditionally short. Once she was older, she might become quite pretty, but until then, she remained a child, and a rather ordinary one at that, in her opinion.
She crossed her arms stubbornly, leaving no room for her father to object. She'd learned he was a bit of a push-over, and mentioning her brother and mother's names was usually enough to press his buttons.

 Solaris---Aire---Chase
Aire scowled at all the Pokemon appearing. She had not been expecting such and was generally not a sociable person in the least. Other beings made her uncomfortable and when she was uncomfortable she got angry.
It was a vicious cycle.
She watched Pluto with slight apprehension before realzing that here was a figure of authority with SOME intelligence.
Thank Arceus, she'd almost lost all hope in these miserable guilds.
"I was asked to scry for the exact locations of these relics given information on the general area they're in. I've found one, more specifically the Insect Pendant."
She lifted her head at the sudden break that signified Javs' arrival in the room and narrowed her eyes.
He was always hovering somewhere nearby, as though she could not take care of herself, but at least he was good company and made damn good coffee.
"It would be best to head there immediately. The dungeon is Misty Jungle, primarily grass type and insect type with a few stray normal type. Vision is limited, I wouldn't bring any fire type if I were you. The jungle would go up in flames."
Solaris cocked his head to the side as he listened and then strolled forward to Pluto.
"Well, uncle...I suppose we'd best move along then if we want that relic before any of the elite catch wind of it!"
Turning now to the guilds he smiled, "Prepare for a fight everyone! We're off to the Misty Jungle!"
Near the back of the gathering Pokemon, Chase pushed his way through to reach Blight's side.
"Our first mission as a team!" He declared, ecstatic. Now if only they could figure out a decent name...that would make his day.
Blight had shot down his earlier suggestions, claiming them to be too 'girly' much to the Ralts' annoyance.

Raziel---&--- Jean-Claude---&--- SiggyAfter sucking up the pain of dropping an entire door on his foot, Siggy shook his head and grunted, his piercings jingling a little.
Jazz was back watching Vivi, leaving Siggy, the true man of the family, to protect his loved ones by serving time on this mission.
"Hey, uh..." Raziel coughed nervously, approaching the Typhlosion.
"This is my first mission without my Captain. Think I could... tag along with you guys?"
Siggy looked back at his Lopunny counterpart, who closed his eyes and nodded.
"Sure, dude! The more the merrier! Name's Siggy, fluffbutt over there is Jean-Claude."
The Typhlosion pointed to the Lopunny, who rolled his eyes and turned around.
"Oh, I can already tell this will be quite eventful..." He muttered.
Siggy chuckled and scratched the back of his head.
"Shall we get going then?"
"Sounds good to me!"
"This is gonna' be so cool!"

AzraAzra's ears twitched at the mention of a 'Misty Forest'. She'd heard of that place, albeit only through her studies. She didn't know much about it, but she knew where it was.
The Riolu couldn't help but think that it would be a great opportunity to further her studies and training. Perhaps this idea wasn't that bad, though she had little doubt that she would not gather much of a chance to study the native environment, not with all of the violence that was no doubt bound to follow their arrival. The guilds never seemed to be able to handle going somewhere and not killing things.
"They'd better not expect me to fight anything." She muttered sourly under her breath, glancing at Raven. "Father, hold still. I'll Teleport us there myself." She added in a calmer voice, though the annoyance of the guild's rather violent pastimes. This was heading somewhere else to do battle; it wasn't even self defense! They were attacking.
With an irritable sigh, she grabbed her father's arm, and disappeared. The distinct crack of her own Teleport taking them both toward their apparent destination.

 Pluto & ThanatosIt was one of those blasted pendants, was it? This meant this would dangerous. " Hold on a moment." He turned around and looked at one of the walls for a moment. " Thanatos." The Gengar silently shifted through the wall, revealing himself. Pluto gave a satisfied nod before looking back at Solaris. " Thanatos will go with you. His orders are my orders. Consider him to be my proxy." Now then, some legendary support would be nice. At the very least, that Lugia was around somewhere... " The Lugia should be along shortly. You are to wait for him to arrive before leaving for the jungle." He quietly walked off before pausing mid-stride to burst into a fit of coughs. He had been trying to repress them for the sake of his voice, but now bereft of the need to speak it was hard to resist the urge. The Lugia himself appeared a few minutes later with a yawn. " Come on kids, let's go."  Desmond

"O-Okay."
It wasn't that Raven was distrustful of his own daughter or anything, just this was a rather far distance and he was sure of the fact she had never been there before. Even though she had been practicing, an experienced psychic type would have to have an amazing amount of concentration to complete this mission without any sort of failure. Before an alternative could be suggestion a crackling noise rang in his hears and a familiar weightless feeling took over him.
Blight remained rather oblivious to his surroundings other than the presence of his partner. Who cares about the briefing of the mission they were about to go on? If he actually listened to all that was being rambled on about my his superiors the adventure of it all would be ruined.
"Do your teleporty thing now that they're done talking."
He nudged his teammate and ordered, seeing that as being the other means of travel for teams around 'em. Despite the fact that they agreed to being equals when making their unnamed team it was natural for him to take some sort of superiority whether it be nothing more than mental or not. With that said the two departed as directed.
"AZZIE! WAIT UP!"
What would be a familiar voice to the Riolu in question cried out; a lone Chimchar racing onto the scene rather late to the whole ordeal due to the fact that he had to powder himself up a bit of course despite the fact an emergency alarm was calling him. Devlin never left out in one of two ways, directly out of bed matted fur and all, or at his finest, the latter coming with the time he decided to put into his appearance today. Seeing his friend readying a teleport attack he quickly lunged himself at her back and barely made contact before he was fortunately taken along for the ride.
