My prayers are with Japan.
Waves carried to Hawaii and to the west coast of the US.
I took some pictures at the beach this morning, the waves on our coast aren't high or catastrophic but the tide looks like it's pulling back and the water/waves don't look normal(but I'm no scientist). The news said we won't get anything worse than a normal storm would bring, and we can't identify wind waves vs the tsunami waves.
The beaches are closed just in case(as you can see the beach is empty), and the the tsunami will last a few more hours. Lots of people stopped by to check it out. It's still a beautiful day out. Anyway here are some pictures from my phone:

Just found out Crescent City's harbor has millions of dollars of damage.
Lots of dead fish in harbors and boats flooded or bashed around. The tides are receding and there are some whirlpools. Some beaches are being re opened.
