Story

Some believe a forest is just a waste of space and others think it's a rare beauty filled with hidden secrets. But what can be found in a forest besides nature and trees? It's been said in many tall tales that there are hidden villages in almost every forest. They say that the forests are the main homes for many gypsies. The gypsies have been living peacefully in the forests for a long time since they didn't fit in with society. They were forced out of there real homes and were left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their knowledge of the Earth. The gypsies used they're own resources to rebuild their homes and then to protect themselves from being pushed away again, they placed a strong barrier that hid them from sight. For years they have been forgotten from society besides the few tales that have been told by people who lived in their time. But some still believe that the gypsies are out there and that they're the reason the forests still grow. The people who still believe are said to be the only ones who can actually find the hidden villages. Of course, people thought they were crazy to think of such foolish things. To them gypsies were nothing but folklore characters. But only the true believers know that the gypsies still live today. Four scientists were sent into the forest of North Carolina to see if they could find proof of any of the hidden villages. Four gypsies see the scientists and let them into their home. They teach them the ways of the gypsies while also trying to figure out their purpose here. As they both learn from each other, they begin to fall in love. Fate works in mysterious ways and it's up to the scientists to take their proof back with them which could put the gypsies in danger or destroy all evidence of their research and live in peace among the gypsies.

Rules

❀①❀ No Godmodding
Do not take control of another main character please. It's not your character to control and it really annoys the other user. Let's try to respect each other and just get along. (:

❀②❀ Follow the TOs
This rule is pretty self-explanatory.

❀③❀ Romance
This is a romance rp but remember to keep things PG-13 and please no cybering. And no love at first sight. Real relationships take time. Oh and there are no pairings, your character can fall in love with whoever they please.

❀④❀ Literacy
You don't have to write like ten paragraphs a post. And I get it, we all make mistakes every now and then. Just try to keep spelling errors to a minimum and post at least up to five sentences. One liners are ok every now and then but not too often.

❀⑤❀ Colorful Posts
I don't care if you go all out with your posting styles. I just want you to at least use color. But don't be afraid to be creative!

❀⑥❀ Profiles and Reserves
PM the profiles to me titled "Go away!" if you're one of the gypsies or "I' mean no harm." if you're a scientist.

❀⑦❀ We can't die!!
I can't stand it when my rps die! So if you join please try to stay active. And if you're going away, just PM me ahead of time. I'll totally understand and I'll try to make sure you can keep up.

Gypsies

❀❁❀ Gypsy of Fire [F]: Fina is a very fiery spirit who can't stand sitting still. She always has to keep herself busy. She's also tough and determined to be as strong as she can. She loves to train or to hunt because it perfects her skills. She's swift and agile because of her young figure. Though don't let her young age fool you. She's been training how to fight since she was at least six years old. She's the kind of girl that can light up a room with her laughter but also knows when to be serious. Her stubborn attitude however tends to get her into trouble and makes it impossible for her to keep her big mouth shut. Yet, even though people may find her annoying, they still love her. She gets along with everyone except younger kids. She acts like a child herself though which is why many of the older gypsies spend so much time with her, especially those that don't have children.

❀❁❀ Gypsy of Water [F]: Yara is a caring girl with wonderful motherly instincts. She loves to help others if she can and she also enjoys spending time with children. She is serious most of the time and ponders many things. She never does anything without having a reason behind it. She's very optimistic and likes to think of the glass half full. She is usually very calm and collected, keeping her thoughts to herself. Though if she needs to, then she isn't afraid to speak her mind. And even if she appears to be sweet and soft, she does have a bit of a fighting spirit in her. She doesn't like to be used or thought of as lower by anyone. She tries to treat everyone with respect if they deserve it.

❀❁❀ Gypsy of Wind [M]: Ven is usually a level-headed, easy going person. Like a gentle breeze, his prescense is always welcome and he's always friendly to people. He doesn't discriminate and is welcoming to everyone, no matter who they are or where they're from. He is a rather mysterious person, and even with his friendly nature, no one can get close enough to him to actually figure him out. He picks up emotions easily and knows when to steer clear of something or a certain topic. However, if someone betrays his trust, you can be sure it will be hell to get it back again.
