Personality
Here is my take of Ecarte's personality.
A passionate and personal young lad, Ecarte has a seemingly well-disciplined demeanour, a professional exterior which can come off as arrogant or all-knowing at times, he is, however, a caring soul. He protects his passion (magic) with the respect 'it so rightfully deserves' and will thoroughly chat the ear off of any person who so challenges the charm and skill of performing magic.
His attempts to uphold a cool, calm and somewhat cold magician's demeanor are easily melted by the kindness of any new-to-be friends. His naturally warm soul make him easily befriended, and his chipper, encouraging personality shines through once the barrier of professionalism is broken.

(( I'll keep it short an sweet. ))
Outside the loose, tent window stretched 100 miles of desolate heaven. Were it not for the well-established fairground campus that has been erected during Gothique's founding years, this place would'nt at all be the buzzing, busy, business place it was now.
The usual sounds and screams of the circus roused the blue-haired magician from his unusually deep dreams. The screech of a tabby and the tumbling of trash cans allowed Ecarte no more sleep.
The first shock to the system was feeling- and seeing, clothing. He had fallen asleep in his stage outfit.The next was glancing apon his grandfather's pocket watch; dead in the hands with no tick nor tock.
Ecarte flicked the face of the time-keeper with his forefinger in the hope of a mechanical ressurection, only to have his dreadful suspicions solidified by the stillness of the watch in his hand. The cold claws of panic took hold of his heart.
"Broken! By gosh, I'm late! and on today of all days!"

 Mkay. First off. YAY someone applying for Ecarte.
Second, I am going to ask you to post a description of his appear and backstory HERE. This should be treated like a profile for any other character. Thanks.
Thirdly - Explain his weakness a bit more , please?
Fourth - Don't be short and sweet with the sample. I bet you can do something more impressing than that. ;3
