So... I don't think this would be appropriate for the Christian section, because I do not think this bill follows anything that is Christian. I think it's more of a morality and knowledge thing.

"Prenatal Muder" Really?!

I think this dude needs to read the bible again, because I don't think there is anything in there saying that women who miscarry are murderers...

I completely agree with you. Though we may see a lot more miscarriages when the anti-abortion laws are in-acted, there is just no way to prove if the mother did it on purpose.

How is a miscarriage murder? How can you prove there was no "human involvement" in the miscarriage? A miscarriage occurs for several reasons and more often then not it happens because some thing went wrong in the pregnancy and the mother's body could support the baby. But seriously, making a miscarriage a felony is ludicrious! I think this guy needs to learn the difference between an abortion and a miscarriage. Sure both end the pregnancy, but there is a difference between them.

A lot of people who call themselves "Christian" do not understand the meaning of "Life".
The think that fetuses is children ... which they aren't.
.....
They also do not understand what it truly means to be a Christian, seeking flaws among others, but ignoring their own.
They don't even understand, that their own judgemental ways would cause them to persecute Christ .....

And ......
Sorry, i went into my own kind of "Preacher Mode" there ...

If i were to speak my full mind about that ...
it could be seen as flaming, or trolling, so i won't.

But, yes, he needs to read the Bible again ... and Understand it truly, this time.

I actually posted something about that on my FB the other day, because I was so pissed off. I've had 3 miscarriages, and the first person to even try to insinuate that I murdered my babies - is going to find out what murder really is.

I remember reading this evil Given what else the nutjob has introduced I'd say he has a few skeletons in his closet.

Sorry to double post, but I suspect that's what the man's trying to work in *dons tinfoil hat* It's a common maneuver that when a politician wants something outlawed and know they can't pull it off they ban pretty much everything but the actual thing being banned.

An example of this was American Prohibition. They were trying to get people to stop drinking, but seeing as how they could not "stop" the act they just banned all manufacturing and distribution of alcohol.

I first saw if on FB when someone posted it. I was infuriated. Like the very end says, miscarriages happen for more than a few reasons and often the mother does not even know she is pregnant. But when they happen later, it's catastrophic. I could not imagine how mothers feel.

On the matter of "is a fetus life" I do believe a fetus is alive. I'm not sure what I believe about an embryo, since it is still a cluster of cells. But cells are still living. But either way, this bill is assinine.

I do have a small question, springing from mild curiousity, is there any legitimacy about this proposed legislation? I haven't seen it reported in the news and maybe I'm not doing research in the right place. Can some one point me in the right direction?

Shows how "paganus" the South has become. Definitely a bunch of "country bumpkins" in their ways and treatment of women and others.

From this article it seems to be kind of popular, but I don't watch the news. Maybe I'll turn it on and see if there is something since I am only a state away. I can also ask my cousin, who lives in Georgia, to see what she's heard. But other than that, it's just been this article. I think his idea will be shot down pretty quickly.

I watch and listen to the news pretty regularly and haven't seen any thing about it, so that's why I was just curious. But I agree that the idea will be shot down quickly.

I see the articles on Yahoo news, but that's about it. I don't really venture farther, other than Colbert and Stewart. Surprisingly neither of them have said anything about it, unless I missed it, but I doubt it.

I'm not so sure I understand that part. Is it saying that the victims are possibly making up a story? That they are lying for attention or something? That's what I get
