Name: Emily "Milly" Elizabeth Parker
Age: 30
Gender: Female
Birthday: Fall 22
Sexuality: Straight
Height: 5'7"
History: Emily was always a quiet, hardworking little girl. At the age of six she lost her mother to complications during child birth. And at the same time she seemed to lose her dad as well. The man who had once been a smiling carefree sort of man, fell into a depression and seem to completely forget about everything. Even at that tender age Em knew that she was the one who would have to pick up the peices, if she was going to keep what was left of her family together. Little by little she tried to fill her mothers shoes, doing the things she had seen her mother do when she had been alive. At six it had been way to much, luckily, her constant failures were able to jar her father from his depression and he slowly became the happy man he had once been.
From there it got a little easier. Until the age of 14 Emily was daddy's little girl, and a mother figure to her baby brother, even when he didn't want it. She was also very busy. What with school, volunteering, and doing the "womanly" chores around the house, she barely had any time to herself. And what free time she did have was usually spent with her nose in some gushy romance novel. When she was 14 her father married a very nice woman, who had two daughters of her own. Emily was more than happy to try and settle into a more sisterly role. She only resorted back to motherly concern when it came to her brother, mostly out of habit. In fact, her brother is the only person she has ever raised her voice to. She loves her youngest sister dearly, and spoils her shamelessly. Her middle sister, though is a whole different can of worms. She loves her as well, but they have very little in common and often fought. Well, Milly would say her peice, Morgan would ignore her, and they would move on.
As mentioned earlier, Emily did a lot of volunteer work at the local hospital (while in high school)and decided then that she wanted to be a nurse. With her kind, caring, and unassuming nature, she made a pretty good nurse, even if she was a bit timid. When her parents started making plans to take a trip around the world, Emily happily accompanied her brother to Nirvani. Eventually their sister Tera is supposed to join them.
Two year time-skip update. Oh Milly. What is there to say? Not much changed in Milly's fly-by-night two years plus on the island. She settled into her job, loving it just as much here as she had back in Florida. She made friends with her two co-workers Mindy and Mei, who were both a soothing balm on her soul after having to deal with Mao all day long. Speaking of Mao, Milly has grown somewhat because of him. She is still weak with a hint of possible defiance when it comes to him, but internally she has moments where she has almsot seriously stood up to him. Mao makes her almost as mad as her brother does. And that's saying something.
Speaking of her brother, the idiot went and got himself into even more trouble than she could have imagined. How he had managed that on such a small island is beyond her. And that relationship she had been hoping to work on is even more strained now. She can't look at her brother without feeling like she failed somehow as his big sister. This is one problem for him that she can't fix, and she doesn't agree with his choices on the matter either.

Name: Jonathan James Parker
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Birthday: Spring 30th
Sexuality: Straight
Height: 6' 2"
History: Jonathan, or Parker as he prefers, came into the world with death on his hands. Okay, so maybe that was a bit melodramatic to say, but it was sort of the truth. His mother died giving birth to him. He knew neither his father nor his sister blamed him for her death, but once he was old enough to realize how much they had lost with her death, he took it kind of hard. At first he tried very hard to pick up some of the slack from his sister, who often seemed over worked, exhausted, and often flakey because she had so much going on she tended to forget things. However, he realized very quickly that his sister needed to do the things she was doing in order to be happy. Something about being a mother to him and the perfect daughter for their father made her truely happy.
Ironically enough, his performance in school gave her just enough trouble to fix. Parker was always a very serious sort of kid. He didn't tolerate idiots or bullies lightly, and while he was able to walk away from the one, he simply couldn't resist a good fight. His constant fighting was often giving his sister something to scold him about. Strangely, the only time she ever seemed to grow some balls so to speak, was when she was trying to "fix" him. Even though he loved her and understood her, their relationship became strained because she never learned to treat him as a grown man and not the little boy she had been trying so hard to protect from the lack of a mother. Even when their family gained two sisters and a mother, all loving, which in itself is a miracle, she still treated him like a kid instead of the man he had become.
Though his relationship with his sister was strained, his relationship with the rest of his family was easy going. He and his father had a lot of the same likes, he respected his new mother, did a lot of things with his new sister, who was a bit of a tomboy, and absolutely adored his youngest sister, who was the only one who could seem to get him to smile. When he graduated high school he decided to enlist in the AF to do his part for the country. After four years and being wounded in combat, he was honorably discharged and decided to become a cop, hoping to pick up were he left off in high school and continue sticking up for the little guy. When he found a position on the force in Nirvani, he thought it would be a great change of scene from the town he had spent his life in. It was also, hopefully, a good start to a new relationship with his older sister. And a good place to big his youngest sister once he got gaudianship of her.
Update: Parker hasn't done much in the two years on the island, other than prepare for his youngest sisters arrival, throw himself into his job and oh yeah... havedrunkensexwithhisco-workerandgetherpregnant. Yeah, nothing big.
Parker was never a big "go out and socialize" kind of person, so his avoidance of the mother of his child should have been incredibly easy. Of course that only works if said mother isn't your boss. Not only does have a child with a woman he barely knew make life nice and awkward, but their co-worker Romane seems to have taken an instant disliking to him and it only got worse with the pregnancy. Not to mention the pregnancy stressed his older sister Milly out as well. If one crazy female wasn't enough, three sure as hell is. The only joy in his life is his son Julian and his sister Teralynn. Morgan's a lot of fun when she comes to town as well, but she perfers drinking, which Parker avoids since finding out Rachel was pregnant.

Name: Teralynn Marguerite Dellacroce
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Birthday: 11th of Winter
Sexuality: Tends toward straight
Height: I'm not done growing, but the last time I went to the doctor he said I was 5'4".
History: Tera, unlike her older sister, grew up with a whole family. Sure it was made up of peices and parts, but she was young enough when they aquired the new brother, sister, and father that she adjusted easily. It was hard to really miss a father you never had, especially when the one she did have loved her unconditionally. She grew up in a loving household, not only parents to children, but parent to parent and sibling to sibling, even if some of them couldn't seem to get along, the love was still there.
When she was four she started taking ballet, because her mother had thought it was a cute thing for little girls to do. Her older sister had always been more of a tomboy and wouldn't have been caught dead doing ballet. It turned out that Tera was actually very good, but more than that she loved dancing, though she refused to do it professionally. It was simply something fun to do. She was good enough at school, but both of her older sisters had done the straight A's thing and it was so overdone. Besides, she could be doing other things, like hanging out with friends.
Needless to say that, being the youngest, Tera was a little bit spoiled growing up. She learned quickly how to "work the sustem" to get what she wanted, and she is very stubborn when she makes up her mind. She is the balance between the rest of her siblings, being the only one who gets along with all of them. She is cheeky to Milly's meekness, level headed to Morgan's wildness, and carefree to John's seriousness. She does have a little oddity though, she creates her own clothing, and it's all a bit... different.
When she finally completed middle school, and her older siblings were old enough to practically be her gaurdians, her parents both decided to take a leave of absence from their work and travel the world like any other pair of old people... Her older brother agreed to be her gaurdian while the 'rents were gone, they did have a war to finish afterall. Seeing that her brother was ready for a new life, Tera agreed to follow him to Nirvani, where he had a job waiting. It wasn't until the last minute that their oldest sister, Milly, decided to tag along as well. Morgan was too busy learning to fly for the Air Force to move with them but she has promised to visit often.
Job: Student, but after school waitress at the Inn's restaurant.
Journal/Diary: Where that spy Jonathan won't ever find it. In the mattress on the bed.
