Von saw Marc listening to the teacher so she slipped a note attached to a hall pass on his books as she passed by and sat at her desk. She remembered what he'd said the other day about not getting to see his friends so she'd actually managed to finesse a spot to practice charms with him for a bit. Granted she had to actually take notes and turn them in but she owed Marc something for the papers he'd had to write for them last time. Though her name being called brought her back to the current class.
The hours dragged on until Von could escape to the third floor where'd she'd gotten permission to practice her Hover and Cushioning charms. They sounded boring but hovering one did have uses and there was a split off charm called Alarte Ascendre that looked interesting.

Marcellus laughed. He was almost proud of Von. Then again... how she got the pass was something he didn't want to ask... she probably beat up the teacher. He shook his head and went back to listening.
All too soon the class was over. He stretched and glanced over to Vonali. He smiled. Ducking out of the class with his bag over his shoulder he headed to his next class and then he would go up to the meeting place.
He waited in the doorway. "Well well... I guess i was wrong when i told Clarissa you weren't a goody goody..." He was waving the hall pass like a banner. Marc, being excellent at charms, had already mastered the 1st year and most of the second year charms.
"So, miss goody goody... A secret meeting?"

Von raised and eyebrow and then glared at him. " Well Sug I figured you wouldn't want to go around the law so I decided to play it straight this time." She walked past him and tossed her bag and books on a table. " Plus I've used most of my free time on transmutation and practicing that fine lookin guitar you got me, so I got a bit behind in Charms. So here I am, and knowing you yer almost done if you haven't completed this years stuff." She shrugged as it it wasn't a big deal and retrieved her wand from her sleeve. " Not to mention you sounded so lonely last time we talked I figured you'd like to hang around. Plus it wasn't hard to get the pass for ya. Told the teach you'd be tutoring me." She laughed as if this was somehow funny and sat in a stool and spun it to look at him. " Seems teach likes you. So here we are. If you want you can do any other homework ya got if ya want."

Marc simply smiled. "Well... i was." He turned to follow her. "No...what fun would that be..." He tossed his book bag down and smirked. "I think... you need my help... thus... im here to help you."
He pulled his wand. "Spongify!" Flicking his wrist he plopped happily onto the ground which was now...very comfy. "So what are you working on?"

Von smirked as he said that this was gonna be fun but raised an eyebrow when he flopped onto the floor. " Alright show off. I've got to practice that one and the Hover, then I have to make notes on what happens whether I succeed or fail then I need to look into the Alarte Ascendare. Once those are out of the way I'd like your help with a little private study charm I've had my eye on." With a smile she reached into her bag and pulled out a good sized chest with a heavy lock on it and placed it on the table next to her. She figured the chest could help with most of those charms, especially the last one. Granted she had the key to the lock in her pocket but she wanted to try the unlocking charm anyway.

"Alright... "He yawned. "Lets see what you can do." He waved his hand in a circular motion giving her the go ahead. "Want me to take the notes while you work?" He flipped his wand and said
"Accio- Bookbag!"
His bag remained motionless. He frowned and tried again. Once more it did nothing. He ran his free hand through his hair and then stood to go fetch a quill and ink and paper. "Alright... go ahead"
Then it hit him... "What charm?"

Von snickered at his haughty behavior. " That'd be perfect." She hated writing anyway, though as he had to repeat his instruction to the bag she started snickering again. "Having some problems there?" She couldn't help but smile and got ready to start on hovering the chest when Marc asked about the last charm. She tried to hide a smile as she answered.
"It's in our Standard book of Spells." She paused for a moment as if trying to remember where." Chapter six or chapter seven I think." She wasn't about to tell him she knew down to the page number, then he'd really get curious and she was kind of hoping to keep it a secret til it was time though it wasn't necessary. She snickered once thinking he'd probably go looking for it soon and concentrated on the task at hand. She pointed her wand at the chest. " Sp-ONG-ify." She stared at the chest and poked it, felt as hard as ever.

Marc laughed. "Hey...im still learning things too." Glancing over at her he shook his head. "Try emphasizing the Sponge part, ya gotta have a strong start."
He dipped his quill and started to scratch down a few notes. Once he had those he pulled out his charm book and went flipping through it. No one ever said he was original.
"Ooo some of these are fun..." HE had brushed through the basics. However the page he had tagged and his book pretty much opened to was the unlocking spell. He kept flipping. "Is it... "
He pondered. Well ask the obvious. "Alohomora?"

Von smiled and shook her head at him but took his advise. " SPONG-ify" Suddenly the chest looked like it was made of thick sponge like wood. She poked it once and chuckled at herself. " It worked. Bet I've been pronouncing them all wrong. Wonder how long it'll last."
She turned and smiled at him as he found the one she'd been talking about. " Know any other charms that would interest me more then that one?" She laughed as if that was all the confirmation needed. She then started on the hovering spell. Might as well have the chest cushioned if it fell. "WING-gar-dium LEVI-o-sa." This time the her wand must not have been pointing at the chest cause the table started to float. " Umm.."

Marc smirked as she took his advice and the chest turned squishy. Shrugging he sighed."No clue..."
He was taking notes and smiled. "Not off the top of my head..." He smiled and wrote down more notes. However, his attention was pulled as the table itself started floating. "Uh...good job" he laughed. Writing down her mistake he sat back and waited to see what she would do about it.

Von stood and stared at the floating table trying to figure out exactly what to do. She hadn't read anywhere about canceling this charm. She reached into her bag and opened her charms book and tried to find the solution. Ah there it was she faced the table did the swish and flick. " WING-gar-dium STOP." And the table plopped to the ground shaking the chest which then decided to fall. "Win-GAR-dee-um lev-ee-OH-sa!" She didn't know why she said it that way but it stopped the chest from hitting the ground. " Seems if you say it the other way it makes something else float. Glad I got it though." She turned and pointed her wand at his Charm's book. "Win-GAR-dee-um lev-ee-OH-sa." And waited to see if it worked a second time.

Marc laughed and took a few notes. And then his book was gone. At first, since he wasn't paying attention he thought it just decided to up and leave but then he saw Von... "Now... is that anyway to behave..." His voice was teasing and his eyes were glittering... it was obvious he was joking around.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" He flicked his wrist to see if it worked on people or not. He had never read that it couldn't work..So concentrating on von he spoke. "You got my book... I got you."

Von giggled at Marc's face when he noticed his book was floating. " Hey i thought you said this was gonna be fun so I had to do something." She hadn't thought it'd work on a person since there was a levitating spell but apparently it did or maybe it's cause he caught her shoes either way she started off the floor and made a mad dash to grab the table and wrap her foot around the leg."Win-GAR-dee-um STOP." and pointed her wand at herself to slid to the floor."Now who's not behaving well." she pointed her wand back at the hovering chest. "Al-AR-tay A-SEND-da-ray." She watched as the chest shot to the ceiling bounced off thanks to the cushion charm and headed straight for the table which it hit with a bounce. " Wow."

Marc smirked. "Guess im a bad boy after all." he crossed his eyes and stuck out his tongue at her. His eyes danced as he watched the chest fly up into the air. "Very well done."
He smirked and stretched out... "Now what? The unlocking spell?"

Von started laughing so hard her knees got weak and she slid to the floor. " Sug, you'd never be considered a bad boy. Maybe a good boy with impulse issues though." She smiled at him letting him know she was jesting in part. She used the back of her right hand to wipe a few laugh tears from her face. Yea, let's look into that one. what should we do first?"
