Last fall, I harvested 2 plastic grocery sacks full of these. I will share if anyone wants some. Just PM me with your address, and I'll try to get them in the mail this weekend!
I have no idea if these seeds are fertile, since I don't have the time to look all that stuff up. What I can tell you about my tree is:
It was collected from the roadside pirate It died to the ground the first 4 years I had it crying It has been broken by wind and struck by lightning, and just keeps growing surprised It is about 10 years old and 24 feet tall eek It is glorious to see it full of hummingbirds and butterflies! heart
So, you may end up with nothing for your trouble---or you could end up with a wonderful tree that you just can't kill! rofl
I'm just going to evenly divide seed between all the people that are interested. If they all grow, there's a cash crop for you! 3nodding

People here grow trees for sale........at the farmers' markets, flea markets, through sale papers, on craigslist. You can check mailorder prices online.

I do still have some! PM me with your address, and I'll send you some! They will be last year's seeds, I just didn't harvest them this past summer.
