In the center of the solar system shines a bright star inhabited by the mother goddess Sol. And in that system, eleven planets circulate. Now, Sol decided to give each of her children a planet for them to develop, create life on, and rule over. The eldest, Vanora, who shone like a pale moon, chose the third planet away from Sol. With her ladies maids, Ianthe and Sulwen, by her side, Vanora began her work.
Vanora cried tears of joy and created the oceans and seas. And with her hands she formed the land with loving care. With the vase of Meiying she gathered the pure waters from the Fountain of Suniva and she poured it over the land. The water gathered and created lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams to be fresh drinking water. She gathered her precious stones and gems and sprinkled them over the land. Grasses, flowers, and trees burst forth and many other kinds of flora as well. For they shall bare food and so are as precious as gems.
Vanora then slept and she dreamed. Creatures of the air and sea danced in her head. At this time Ianthe cried out and pointed. Sulwen who was by Ianthe’s side looked up and gasped for the creatures of Vanora’s dream had become real and they flew through the air and swam in the seas. The ladies maids whispered to each other of the creatures, unaware that it was their beloved goddess Vanora’s doing. And as the sweet goddess continued to sleep, beasts of the land danced through her head. Canines with long tails and great horses with the feet of cows, some even flew, some swam. The wonders of the strange creatures too spilled out of Vanora’s dreams and became real. Sulwen then cried out and pointed. Ianthe saw and together the ladies maids became in awe together over the wonders of the creatures they beheld.
As Sol shown down upon the planet of her eldest daughter, Vanora awoke and stretched. Ianthe and Sulwen rushed to her side and together they exclaimed about what occurred while she slept. Vanora’s eyes flew wide and she looked about her. It was as if she was in her dreams again. Vanora then told her ladies maids that while she slept these creatures appeared to her. It soon came apparent that Vanora had filled her planet with life.
A group of canines with long tails soon stalked past among the tall grasses. They were huge and strong. Vanora quickly and quietly followed the pack. These beautiful creatures formed loving families, but they killed other creatures to eat. Vanora felt sorrow at the death but joy in the life. She approached them and they did not know her. So she spoke and was accepted into the pack. She called them friend and decided that these creatures where called helixes. Now one helix stood out to her. This helix had looked at her with eyes of knowing. So Vanora placed a finger to the forehead of this helix and gave them the ability to see into the future and know. And those born with the eye of knowing shall too receive the gift. With this last act, Vanora parted from them.
As she explored the planet she had created, with Ianthe and Sulwen, Vanora came upon the cow-hoofed horses. They where great beasts who could carry the burden of her and her ladies maids. They, too, where social and formed loving family groups she called herds. She watched as they traveled deep ravines and rocky ledges. They proved to be hardy and surefooted in the harsh land they called home. She called them roch. Out of this group of roch, one stood out of her. This roch could understand her words, could read her writing and even use a stick to write a message in the dirt. This roch was a seeker of knowledge and strove to learn her words. The roch learned quickly from Vanora and it pleased her greatly. She placed her hand upon the roch’s head and gifted it with the ability to learn and know all things. To never forget and to help those who need it. Those born with the hunger for knowledge shall receive this gift.
Vanora now was alone with Ianthe and Sulwen on the shores of a clear lake. This vast world teeming with life felt a little empty. Yes, she would love to walk among her creations from time to time. But they could not communicate and be with her like Ianthe and Sulwen. She turned to them and said. I shall create creatures like us. Ianthe and Sulwen both looked equally surprised at this. But neither discouraged her. So Vanora went off closer to the lake and with her vase of Meiying, gathered up the water and poured it over the dirt at her feet. Like with the land, Vanora molded the dirt and clay into creatures that looked like her. She used her own breath to give them life. She created humans. She bade them to go explore, live, and procreate like the beasts of the land, sea, and air.
With that Vanora felt like her planet was complete and whole. She took her ladies maids and retreated to her home, a floating island in the sky, from where she may watch and observe her creations.

Now everything I am about to say is common sense, however you will be surprised at the people who wonder around Gaia so I feel to be safe I will establish my journal with rules so no one can claim “I didn’t know” if they do something they are not supposed to do! And yes I am doing this in paragraph form to ensure you have to read it and not just skim over stuff. I hate when people claim they read the rules and they really didn’t and just break them. I’m sorry but it ticks me off. At least this way I know you can’t skim them. If you want to know important stuff actually read it. Easy enough right? So let’s start!
xxxxx● Now you should know already not to post in journals but in case you don’t, now you do. If you post in here I will be extremely angry. You can look around and read and browse to your little heart’s desire, but under no condition can you post! It should be simple. You post and I will report you to the shop. Understood? Now the next rule is not to steal my layout. Now I understand my layout will look like some others, but if I see someone has the exact same as mine right down to the bone, that’s just wrong. I worked hard on this and it is mine. So please do not come about and copy my layout. If you would like I will make one for you. Also please don’t use the forms I will have posted later on. Those forms are for my use only. Again I understand some people’s forms will look like mine, but I don’t want people to rip me off all the way.
xxxxx● I feel I covered the basics. Now let’s move on to more or less information then rules. Please check my front page before you ask me to role – play one of my horses with you. There will be a list of horses I have open for role – plays and ones I’m not role – playing due to reasons. So please make sure you check the list. As far as plots go, I’m always open for plotting. So again check the list before you ask me to see who is open for a plot and who is already in one! I don’t want to waste time going through the list of who is available and who is not with people, so that is why the list is there. Use it. Now when it comes to breeding, I can go two ways. A few of my pets might be a bit….outgoing if you will and shall never settle while others will settle before having little ones. So keep that in mind if I turn you down for a breeding for some reason. Also I will have a list of upcoming births posted here so if you would like a pup/foal from that breeding, you can let me know. Now this is not saying you will get a pup/foal, but your name will be taken into consideration and you will be notified of future births as well. I feel that is it.
