On the day before the trip, the door to Alwine's room was left open, with the Samara Doll flopped by it as a doorstep. She didn't mind... if it got people in to view the tape, she was eager.

The haunt was standing in front of the TV, running her fingers along the edge of one of the cursed tapes.

She was watching her. Alwine wasn't sure where the other doll had hid herself, but she knew that the Sadako Doll was peering at her from somewhere.

"I hope they know what they're in for..." said the haunt.

She had never heard of a tape like this before, a haunted tape that was cursed and could possibly kill whoever watched it? It sounded like fun! Junko was rather interested in this tape especially considering its origins. She'd parted ways with Seiji for now with the promise to meet up later, making her way through the ghost dorms until she found the one she figured she wanted to be at.

The little doll and the open doorway were kind of a big hint.

Though Junko had never formally met Alwine, she let herself in anyway; the door was open and Alwine was expecting her, so it wouldn't be considered Junko just intruding..right? "Hello? Miss Alwine?" She could pack later. Junko wanted to see what this mysterious tape was.

Junko. Alwine's first victim. Before she realized how horrible the tape was, she had asked Junko to translate the few words that appeared in a different language. Mandy had told her that the other monster wasn't upset, but Alwine still felt guilty.

She always felt guilty.

"Your name's Junko, right? It's a pleasure to see you again. I'm sorry I got you into all this trouble. You saw the doll at the door, right? If you're lucky, after you watch the video, you'll get a visit from one like her..." she sat the tape down on a small table and hugged herself. She felt the other doll's stare boring itself into her back.

"She's the least unnerving."

"Mhm! Trouble? It's no trouble at all! I think this is all quite neat!" She said sincerely, a warm smile accompanying her words. See? She was fine! They were fine. And the doll was rather cute! Junko looked to the doll in question for a moment as Alwine mentioned her, turning and bending down to gently pat at her head. "She's adorable! I don't see what you dislike about her." Junko stood up again and turned back to Alwine, slipping her sandals off and scooting them aside out of the way of the door. "So who else is coming?"

With the invitation from groanspring, Jericho found himself rather curious at what this movie would be. A part of it was the hint of danger that was presented with that invitation. Though, just how dangerous could a movie seriously be? In any case, he figured and hoped that tonight would prove to be an interesting one.

Since Riley was going as well, he swung on by her room so they could head to the ghost dorms together. He wasn't entirely certain who else was going to be there just yet.

"Any idea what this movie is?" he asked the Mindflayer as he paused outside the room that was Alwine's. He knocked a few times on the door, waiting for the headless ghost to open up for them.

At first, when Riley had seen the invitation on Groanspring, she was wary. She didn't seem to think a movie night was in her best interests.. but she did think that getting to know Alwine a little better might be. She had almost no interaction with the new student, and that needed to be rectified. So, when the second invitation came, she had taken it.

At her door, Riley did not falter. She shook her head at Jericho, giving him a blank look. I have no idea, to be quite honest. I'm sure whatever it is, it shall be interesting. Otherwise, I doubt she would have invited us over to watch it.

She gave his arm a squeeze. Thanks for coming to pick me up, by the way. That was sweet.

The door opened a crack, just a crack. It was too heavy for the psychic powers of a mere doll (creepy or not), but it got Alwine's attention.

"It's not that I dislike her... she just puts me on edge is all. Those must be some of the others!" Alwine bent down to pick up the Samara Doll and opened the door the rest of the way.

"I'm glad you two could come! To be honest, other people doing this with me makes it easier..." Alwine ran a hand through the hair of the doll and stepped aside. "Please come in. I would have had popcorn for this viewing, but I do not think it would have been appropriate. I am sorry..."

"Yeah that's a good point," the red dragon nodded before grinning, "And you're welcome."

When the door opened, he looked towards it, seeing their hostess of the night. The lack of popcorn was slightly disappointing, but it again made him rather curious of what they were watching.

"Thanks for having us over," he nodded while stepping in and taking a look around the room. He had only been in the ghost dorms one other time, for Night's Poker night thing.

"So what are we watching?"

"What are we watching?" Alwine repeated the question. "I'm not too sure, really. You watch it, and... seven days later, one of these dolls appear. It's strange, and really creepy."

She nervously twirled a finger in Samara Doll's hair.

"I warned you on groanspring. Are you guys still okay with watching this video with me? I mean, Kasumi and Junko seem to be okay with it. They are certainly handling it better than I am..."

Riley's head tilted just slightly as she tried to come to terms with what was being told to her.

You invited us to a movie, but you're not sure about the movie.. and watching it spawns a doll? She gave Jericho a side-glance. That's certainly nothing I've ever experienced before. I'm fine with it, if you are. Perhaps there was something to learn about the experience. Some dormant power waiting to be discovered.

Or, perhaps, it was just creepy. Either way, it sounded like a good time.

Raising an eyebrow, Jericho really had to wonder what this film was all about if Alwine didn't even know. The fact that it apparently spawned a living doll was odd too. Though the ghost seemed a little shaken by it, he didn't think there was any real danger here.

"Neither have I, but it's fine," he nodded to both girls as he looked around the room to see who else was there. It looked like there was only one other for now. He had seen her around a few times, though at the moment his memory was failing to put a name to her face. The dragon did remember that she had a second mouth in the back of her head, however.

"I know, I'm really sorry... I was terrified when I posted on groanspring. I felt alone, and that I needed others to experience this with me. That's why I had to warn you again."

Alwine sat the doll on a tiny chair before gesturing to it. "This is my Samara Doll. I don't know how or why she is named Samara, only that she's a strange doll. Like I said, you'll be lucky if you get one like her."

The haunt walked close to the television set and stopped at a set of curtains.

"The other is my Sadako Doll. She makes the Samara Doll look like a Scarbie."

Holly was wandering around the ghost dorms. She'd some how acquired a strange ghost cat and well decided to take it exploring with her. She'd been around for a while now and still had yet to meet her neighbors...

There was a bunch of commotion going on a few rooms down so she stuck her head in. "Um hi, what's going on in here?" Holly decided to enter and her Bakeneko streaked into the room. Jack. This would be fun.

Vivid cursing could be heard coming down the hallway towards Alwine’s room. As it drew closer and the voice more distinct the rooms occupants could start to make out scuffing sounds, like a small fight had broken out.

“Stupid- Dolls! Let- Go! NOT THE EARS! NOT THE EARS! STOP IT! AHHHH- GET OFF!”

The screams of pain where probably rather alarming.

“Fine, fine fine! YOU CAN BOTH COME! Justletgo,ok? Good girls, now ha- OH GOD MY EYES STOP IT I'LL KEEP MY PROMISE I SWEAR! WERE ALMOST THERE OK?”

Finally the struggling sounds ceased, the hallway once again quiet except for the tired puffing of whoever had been screaming.

Shuffling the rest of the way down the hall a very scuffed looking Mandy came into view holding two identical looking dolls with smug looks on their faces. Nudging her way into the room she flopped down onto Alwine’s couch tiredly, giving the other guests a wave before sending Alwine a look, “Sam and Mara didn’t want to stay in my room once they figured out what you where doing.”

Alwine's body language perked up considerably when she saw Mandy, even though she was hugging ... two Samara Dolls.

Two.

"I... how did you get a second one?" Alwine's worry was evident in her voice. She was staring at the two dolls so much that she almost didn't notice Holly until she spoke.

"Oh! You're free to join us, but I must warn you. We will be watching a videotape cursed by... well, cursed by dolls." The haunt gestured to her Samara Doll as well as Sam and Mara. "If you're lucky, you'll get a doll like them after seven days."

Alwine sat Samara Doll next to Sam and Mara before walking back over to the curtain. It looked almost like perspiration was dripping down one of her bandages, but ghosts couldn't sweat, could they?

"A ghost shouldn't be afraid of a doll... they shouldn't..."

She swept the curtain aside, but nothing was there.

In the corner closest to the Bakeneko stood the Sadako Doll, silent and observant. It was curious about this cat. Was it so different from her? Vengeance, haunting... yes, Sadako Doll didn't mind the Bakeneko being in the room.
