Makoro was tired. He didn't know how hard it would be to travel out on his own. He had hoped that his accident-prone nature would eventually fade. In truth, it had, but only just a little. He hadn't gotten into an accident since he had left his pack - he was determined to make it on his own. He had managed to escape his elder brother's mothering long enough for him to say his good-byes to his father and mother and slip out of the pack virtually unnoticed.
Still, he did not realize how hard it would be to live on his own. He never could hunt properly, always getting kicked or trampled on or falling into a river that he swore wasn't there before!
Alas, he decided he would only take a few more steps and then he would rest. Only a few more... and where did that rock come from?! He gave a small whine, back-peddling and fell on his rump. It wasn't permanently damaging, but a blush still crept onto his face in embarrassment. He could only hope no one saw.

Suchi was traveling much like the male. She had left her family not to long ago in search for something. She was hoping that she would be able to find others, a group of hyena's somewhere that she would be a member of something more then just a family. Her family was nice and all but she just wanted to be a part of something bigger.
The black hyena stepped elegently towards a clearing, she could hear water running close by and thought to herself that it would be a great place to rest for a little while. She didn't see the other hyena who was in the same area but she did hear his whine. She looked around her ears perked. "Hello" she called. Looking around for who ever had made the noise. She wasn't in the mood for a fight today so she hoped whoever it was out there wasn't violent. Suchi never wanted to mare her good looks with things such as scars.

White ears moves back against his head as he heard another voice - so someone else had seen his clumsy run in with a bolder? His face heated up even more, almost painfully. He hoped they wouldn't laugh at him.
"H-hello," he called back, voice soft and colored with shame. He saw her after he heard her, tilting his head. The only hyenas he had ever seen were his direct family, he hat to tilt his head. He hadn't known hyenas could get a pelt so dark. His father's own fur was dark, but it was not black. It was instead a blue that tickled the edges of black.
He shook his head from the pondering and gave a slight rub to his sore nose, which has started turning pink from the bump in with the rock and the blush that colored the skin beneath his fur.

Suchi smiled when the male responded to her she turned and was releived that he was able to see him. "Ah there you are." she smiled. The male was a little younger then her and much paler then her. Unlike him she had seen a number of other hyenas ranging in all sorts of colors. She turned and walked towards him she barely noticed his blushing. Suchi wasn't really the type to pay too much attention to what others might be feeling, some would say she was a little self absorbed.
"Hi there my name is Suchi." she told him a grin on her face. Perhaps she had just found the first step of her future. A male, she wasn't sure what purposes he would serve just yet but if nothing else it would be nice to have a travelling companion.

Some relief flooded into the young male's body. So she had not seen him. That was... great, actually. She seemed not to notice anything off about him either. "I'm M-makorowezo," he said in response. "Ah, it's nice to meet you," he continued as almost an after though, as if suddenly remembering manners despite his previous embarrassment.

Suchi forced a smile onto her face. Makorowezo seemed a little fluster, the black and green hyena quickly decided that it was due to her being there and how good looking she was, who wouldn't be flustered by her looks after all. "Well its very nice to meet you Makorowezo." she said, he voice was kind, she rarely revealed her inner thoughts through her voice it really wouldn't benift her to do so.
'Tell me are you a traveler or are you just out on a haunting trip." Perhaps Makorowezo would like to be interested in being her tavelling buddy if he was out travelling. Though she was a little worried that he wouldn't like the fact that she had no idea of where she was going. He might be less willing to stick around.

"Ah, travelling. I... I don't really know where I'm headed though," he frowned - he hadn't thought that far. He had known some of his companions visited neighboring dog packs and learned things to bring back to the pack, but he didn't know of any other hyena packs.
His father had told him he knew of some when he was younger, specifically the Graveyard pack. That pack, though, used Dogs as Slaves, and he wouldn't be able to stomach that, he thought. One of his best friends was a dog...
"A-are you travelling also...?"

Suchi smiled excelent another traveller. She was even happier when she heard that he also did not know where he was going. It made her quite sure that the male would be willing to travel with her, clearly two travelling together would be better then one all on their own. "I am travelling as well, I have been for sometime, I am looking for something, a place to call home." she smiled. She wasn't completely sure as to how to explain her desire.
"I left my family behind to find this place... The problem is I'm just not sure of where it is." she offered a tentative giggle. For the first time in awhile she was afraid of looking stupid. One thing that Suchi almost never worried about was how she looked to others, she was fairly confident that she always looked good. "I hope to find it soon though, it should be somewhere. A home with many others, all hyena's. I want to be a part of something bigger then just a family." she turned and looked closer at the male hyena to see if her understood at all.
She swallowerd hard and then dared the question that had been on the tip of her tounge for awhile. "Would you think you are interested in travelling with me? Perhaps I will be able to find the place I am looking for with some help and maybe you would like it there too?" She wasn't sure what the real benefits to the male for coming with her but perhaps that wouldn't occur to him.

"Oh, I don't know if you want to travel with me, Miss Suchi," he murmured, ears pressing against his skull in shame. His head ducked slightly. "I'm not very... um.." he couldn't think of the word. He gave a small frown at his lack of vocabulary.
"Well, I'm clumsy and I run into things a lot..." He informed her shyly. He knew his sudden bouts of tripping over things that appeared out of no where(!) could be a bit off-putting, so he felt the need to warn her in advance. "I'f you'll still let me, I-I'd like to travel w-with you. If that's okay..." he murmured shyly, not looking at the woman.

Suchi smiled, she was a little sad that the male wasn't the strong strtapping thing that she had hoped to escort her on her journies but he was the first male she had come across since leaving her family and he would just have to do. "I do beleive we can get past any clumsiness issues." She told him a grin on her face.
"I have travelled far to long on my own, its not good for me, I need a friend. And I think you are the perfect one to fill that roll." Suchi told him. She looked up at the sky and saw how low the sun was getting. "I think we should just stay in this area for the night perhaps and we can continue our travels tomorrow." she said with a knowing nod.
