I was just wondering what people here in the guild do as a way to relieve stress.
I've found that firing a weapon is a good stress reliever; a friend of mine and I found a place to fire my M44 yesterday, and on the way the bumpiness of the roads caused my muffler to break right off. Couple that with stresses related to school and money issues, I should've been stressing like mad, but after about 20 rounds, I felt great.
What activities do you find to relieve stress?

Well, I have a few: -Hitting something with a pillow furiously -Silently yelling at specific person who got me angry (ususally older brother or mom) -Scribbling on a piece of paper with a pen -Breaking something invaluable till I feel better
I sometimes go out into the forest, find a stick and hit trees and garbage if I feel very enraged.

Breaking something is a definite way to relieve stress, but any time I've ever broken something, I stress out about what I've broken almost immediately after.

Just laying down and thinking does it for me. If I can't do that I'll hurt the next person to try to get on my nerves. Aaaaand if I can't do that, sometimes I break down in my frustration. o.o I'll literally cry from pent up stress and rage.

Yoga. So far, I have been really relieved of stress this semester of college because of my yoga class. Last two semesters, I would have the worse headaches ever. Enough that they were crippling. But since I've started, it's been pretty great.
As for other stress reliever, I take a nice, long shower. It feels so great because I feel so relieved and reborn after a shower.

I listen to music and lay in bed. I sometimes cry, or rarely I'll talk about it slightly with someone.

Sleep is my favourite. Also playing with my ferrets, they're fantastic stress relief. Listening to music.
Taekwondo is a good relief for stress in general but not for specifics.
And same as deathgod, if I can't release it at the moment, 'cause I know I can't break something or go to sleep, I will break down in frustration and cry my eyes out.

Yoga and mindfulness breathing - especially for anxiety-related stress
Cardio exercise - to burn off some of that energy.
Blasting music
Crying - after crying you always feel 100% better. haha.
Painting - I'm not an artist, but sometimes just throwing paint around a page makes you feel good. I call them my "sloppy, abstract, emotion paintings"

well i generally listen to music, or if i can get to a computer, watch something interesting that gets me distracted. basically anything that can get my thoughts to another plane of existence and daydreaming about something else is a good idea.
