Information: "Tolerant of handling," Australian mists are compatible with owners of all ages. Through their early stages they can be quite rambunctious but tend to settle upon growing older. They're not shy about cuddling or approaching people as a general rule.
(Dr. Truda Straede "created" the breed by crossing domestic short-haired cats with Abyssinian and Burmese for the purpose of achieving a short-haired cat with a spotted coat. They received their name, unsurprisingly, because Dr. Straede bread them in Australia.) [

Personality: He's friendly, but he's cocky. Gabriel is a really happy-go-lucky, but an in-your-face kinda kid. He's not keen to pick up on the atmosphere either. (As in, someone is about to rip his head off? Totally oblivious.) Convinced that it's entirely impossible for himself to be disliked (it's entirely possible) and that he's completely invincible (he's not), he's pretty much a disaster waiting to happen. Oh, and personal space? He knows it not.

History: Gabriel came from a rather loving family. An Australian couple took care of him through his early stages of kitten-hood, which is most likely where that. . . Spunky personality of his developed. (Can one really be blamed when one is called "tough guy" and "the man" every time catnip is set in front of them. He was practically brainwashed into believing it!)
Unfortunately, the young couple was rather irresponsible in their youth and hardly ever remembered to keep the window open. Gabriel, ever curious, decided to do some exploring and was unfortunately never able to find his way back home again, much to his owner's dismay.
