Oh no, not animuu...
I hope it turns out to be decent, at least.

Ah... I can't tell if you're being serious, or ironic.
Seeing as there is an "animuu" drawing in your signature.

Cartoony, actually. Someone drew my character.

Hm... well, I'm not very hopeful of what results, to tell the truth. Considering the Devil May Cry anime...
...
... Anyway, I think this will be a good anime overall... if we ignore the fact that it's a Dragon Age anime.
The thing with the DMC anime is that it was good on its own if you looked at it as something on its own... sure, it had the main character in it, but it really wasn't anything like the games, and a lot of people were let down by it. But consciously disconnect the two... and it was a good anime.
This DA anime should be good if we try to do the same as in the instance with the DMC one. But this is just speculation, of course. I obviously don't know what it will be like...

Could've fooled me... well, far be it from me to draw a proverbial line in the sand between what's "cartoon" and what's "anime". It's all art as far as I'm concerned...

What about that picture of your Tabris? In the RP?

Well, far be it from me to draw a line between Western and Japanese art styles.

Well, they're definitely becoming more and more similar as the years pass... popular conventions changing hands, and whatnot. Eastern style is popular in the West, so Western style is changing to accommodate this... while Western style (Disney, mainly) is popular in the East, and also evolving accordingly. It's interesting to be able to watch this first-hand. A prime example of Globalization in the works.

Really? I was born around the beginning, so I don't know much about it... just that there are some parts of the 90s I wish hadn't happened... like NAFTA...

... Ah, pay me no mind. I mean well, I just... don't like seeing smart people with closed minds, I guess (Did... I just type something seriously hypocritical and ironic? ^^;;; ). And as is my nature, I must start a crusade over every little thing...
There's... some really great anime out there, alright? Like Princess Mononoke, Tokyo Godfathers, and Record of Lodoss Wars. It's not all Sailor Moon, Naruto and Bleach... I promise.

I apologize for bothering you before, and I hope we can become friends in the future. I look forward to traveling with you in the guild role play. *bows*

I don't mean to seem closed-minded since I'm mostly not, but I've honestly seen so many Anime/Japanese-obsessed white people that I've somewhat grown to dislike it. Trust me, I was nearly like that several years ago and I snapped out of it. xD
It's the same thing with my views on religion; I've seen too many closed-minded, obsessive, extremist nuts to actually like it.

Nah, not many things manage to get my panties in a twist, so it's all good. I look forward to roleplaying with you, as well.

Ooh, a Western RPG turned anime? That's an interesting concept.
I could see it with Dragon Age II. Fenris looks and acts like he stepped right out of a Final Fantasy game and just got lost in Thedas. Anders, Merrill, Tallis, they all lend themselves to anime. Morrigan, Oghren, Allistair, not so much.

Just kidding, I just took a semester of Japanese a few semesters ago to get a language credit. Definitely got an A.

Yeah, I took an into Japanese course one year, but didn't like it and failed. I'm taking Spanish this year for language credit.
