Aunty Em's Gnome Emporium is a former garden statuary shop in rural New Jersey, off the main highway. It's decayed and abandoned building and lot has been a hot spot for monsters of all varieties. It's stone statues of victims leave a haunting and chilly reminder of the Gorgon that once lived here, Medusa.

Tyler walked onto the premises. He was greeted by the many frozen faces of fear on the 'statues'. They sent a chill down his shirt, but tried to shake it off. It came to little avail. He surveyed the area, the front door was covered in wood and nails, and locked with a husky chain and lock for good measure. Before his team could arrive, he walked over to the door and began inspecting it.

A few minutes after Tyler went in, Isabel appeared by the door. "Oh my... This is creepy." Isabel whispered and squeaked a little at the sight of a statue that looked like it was screaming.~Julian Johnson~
"Wow your such a wimp." Julian told Isabel. Then she rolled her eyes at him.

He shook his head at Julian's comment. "Ugh!" he groaned. He couldn't imagine how Isabel lived with him, since they were obviously half-sibilings. He turned to the 3 of them. "I dunno why, but I keep having this paranoid feeling...we definetly aren't alone. You guys have something to arm yourselves with?"

Artemis muffled a chuckle at Tyler's groan of annoyance. She went over and patted his shoulder gently. "Nerdy people," she whispered, "They tend to do that."
She surveyed the statues and couldn't help feel paranoid herself. She caught a glint of something at one of the windows, but when she looked, there was nothing there. Beginning to feel really spooked out, she huddled closer to the group. "There is definitely someone, or something, watching us," she said.
"I have a sword," she said, indicating the celestial bronze weapon that hung on her left hip.
"Maybe we should split up," Artemis suggested. "It'll be faster that way. We also have those communicator things, so we can keep track of the other team's movements. It is a big emporium." She just wanted this to get over soon.

Tyler nodded. "Agreed" he said. He didn't feel like to leave Julian with neither Isabel nor Artemis. "Uh...Julian...you can team with me for now. Isabel and Artemis, you guys can stay together" he ordered. "Everyone okay with this, or do you want to volunteer to take this...hunk of man....from me?" he joked.

"Wow. This statue looks like its looking right at me." Isabel pointed out. While Isabel was looking at the statue, Julian pushed her into the statue and she fell onto it then started to scream. "Oh my Gods! Can you stop treating like I'm a rat! This time you need to apologize." Isabel yelled.~Julian Johnson~
"Fine. I'm sorry." Julian mumbled. Isabel just ignored him and started walking away with Artemis.

Artemis shot Julian a What the hell? look and continued after Isabel. "Good luck," she called over her shoulder to the guys. "Do you have a weapon?" she asked Isabel.

"Over here Julian" he called. He reunited with him and walked off. "Remember we're looking for ANYTHING out of the ordinary." he said as he walked around. At one point he saw something moving from the side of his eye. He quickly turned around, and drew his non-celestial dagger. "Did you see that?"

Artemis nodded. "Alright, then, why don't you - no, don't," she decided. "Keep your weapon hidden until the last minute." She drew her own sword and held it out in front of them. "You can surprise them," she continued in hushed tones. She picked up a buzzing on the communicators and listened, holding it such that both she and Isabel could hear what was being spoken without the other girl having to pull her's out.
"Right," Artemis nodded and put her communicator back. All of a sudden, something cold fell down her spine. A keres materialized behind them and slashed at Artemis's left shoulder. Artemis didn't react fast enough and so sustained a horrible gash on her shoulder. She yelled in agony and in blind fury, thrust her sword into the keres. It promptly disappeared into green smoke as Artemis crumbled and fell to the ground, her shoulder burning from the wound.
