So you've been assigned to Ms. Winter's boat. Lucky for you, it appears to be a large, and comfortable luxury yacht. For those of you familiar with the etiquette teacher, it doesn't come as a big surprise. However, something just doesn't sit quite right with a name like "The Overboard"... oh well, suck it up children.Ship Stats
Name:The Overboard Student HP: 32 Size: Large Food: 200 Avoid: 0 Bonus: Winter makes Xypher go fishing for her every evening. A roll will be made to determine what he brings back at the end of the night.

On the second level, there is a dance hall, and a rec area. Ms. Winter and Cloak's respective rooms are also on this level.
Top level, of course, leads to the deck.

Pre-Boarding It would appear that we have been assigned our wards for this task, as well as our Trick or Treat guides. I am unfamiliar with Cloak, but here's to hoping we share some common interests, else this will be a long and tedious voyage. I am, however, looking forward to the little surprise that lies in store for those who step foot onboard.

OMG A WILD CLOAK HAS APPEAREDPage 4 A WILD CLOAK HAS APPEARED!At some point during the battle, Cloak had disappeared below deck with a curious look on her face. If anyone had been distracted long enough from the battle to listen, they would have heard her cursing from her cabin and making more noise than seemed necessary on a ship. Not too long after the beast was killed she reappeared again - carrying some interesting equipment. She set it all down carefully on the deck, spreading it out into sections for each student, and didn't look up at any of them until she was done. Then she stood and looked at each student very seriously, waiting until she had gotten their attention. Once she was sure they were all paying attention to her, she began her very serious speech. "I'm glad that you all survived that attack," she even sounded like she meant it, "but this is an opportunity that I can't pass up and I need your help." She reached down then and picked up one of the things she had set on the deck - it looked like a giant glue gun, except the tip was a needle and a vial was fit neatly into the back. "I need giant squid ink for my, uh, studies and I need your help to get it." She set the extraction gun down then and picked up an extra vial she had set beside it. "I need at least ten of these filled, so get to work!" Then she set the vial down as well and stepped back, waiting for them to get to work. (( Alright kids, this is how this is going to work!
You will roll a 6-sided die to try and match the one I rolled in this post. If you match it, you found a place with ink and successfully fill one vial. If you roll any other number, you fail and must try again. You can fill as many as you'd like until the game is over!
Each post needs an rp reaction, no matter how small. Prizes will be awarded for: 1 - First person to fill a vial. 2 - Person that fills the most vials. 3 - INTERESTING RP POSTS.
The game will be over when all 10 vials are filled.
AT THE END OF EACH POST, please edit in [success] or [failure] so I can keep count.))

Sin was early to board, she knew it but she couldn't help it she had forced herself to sleep last night and now she was excited. The reason of course for her sudden burst of pleasure was the sight of Professor Winters boat, if one could call it that. It was more like a luxury cruise liner and that made Sin sigh in a mixture of relief and pleasure. She had no issues carrying her meager 2X2 pack which bulged with everything she had managed to fit. She felt a little better about not getting to bring her trunk because a ship like this was sure to offer all amenities. She happily walked down the dock to get on board, ahh now THIS was the kind of field trip she could enjoy. She couldn't wait for Alcie and Viveca to show up! Hmm...best try and get the best room first, preferably one with a nice large bath.

Vaith didn't have to worry about falling overboard here. Hell, it looked like, even if he tripped, he wouldn't be falling into the water. He'd be falling face-flat on the deck. Compared to.. the other boats docked in the harbor, this one took the cake. It really took the cake. Was it as luxurious on the inside as it looked on the outside? He hoped so. His red eyes widened, his yellow and black bag still in his hands.. but only barely. He stood there, dumbly, on board the ship.
He leaned over the rails to read the name. Overboard? Overboard? THAT WAS REASSURING. His relief just went out the window.
First step. Staaaaaaaare.
Second step. Stareeeeeee.
Third Step. Stareeeeee.
Fourth step. Wonder if there's a beeeeeeeedddddd. But sleeping outside on the sea air didn't seem so bad either. Overall, Overboard seemed like a pretty sweet place to nap.
This was Vaith's expression: *^*
.. Forever.

Surprisingly enough, Aksaja was also one of those to arrive at the boat fairly early. The lightning dragon came flying over toward the docks, his bag dangling from hands and making said flight a little ungainly. But it was faster than walking, so hey.
Landing on the deck of his boat, he dropped the bag and looked around appreciatively. "Well, the name kinda sucks, but otherwise this boat looks awesome," he murmured, staring about.
And at least there were a couple of people on here that he'd met before, even if he didn't know them well. Not like some others who were grouped with those they'd never even talked to. Spying a couple of said group members now, he walked over and offered them both a quick grin. He'd sort of met Sin before, but not the other boil. "Heya. I'm Aksaja. Seems like a pretty cool boat we landed on, huh?"

Viveca hadn't bothered to braid her hair this morning, so it streamed behind her like a mane, and held her usual hat in her hand, so her horns bounced a little up and down as she ran for the boat. She rubbed sleep out of her eyes; she'd barely gotten any that night. After hearing Sin talk about what she had been bringing on the trip Viveca had spend much of the night packing and repacking. She had originally just haphazardly tossed a few changes of clothes and a toothbrush in, but then she had reconsidered.
After much of the night, she was finally finished and fell exaustedly into bed, only to be awaken some 3 1/2 hours later to her alarm going off.
She observed all the other boats, astonished by how nice the one she boarded looked, compared. Well, almost half of the passengers seemed to be demons, so she decided that it suited them to have the best ship anyway.
She waved her free hand at Sin and darted over. She hadn't braided her hair, in favor of making sure she had her morning cup(s) of coffee.
"Ready for the Field Trip?" she asked, smiling a greeting to her.

Sin watched with a smile as Aksaja landed, so this was Riley's friend huh? Well the friend of a friend and all that applied even if he wasn't a demon. She was after all going to be on a boat with these people, even if the boat was big enough she could avoid someone if she wanted to. Sin wasn't antisocial, she was born and raised to be an excellent guest and hostess. She walked over and offered Aksaja her hand with a smile.
"Aksaja? Riley's friend I believe? I'm Sin, Sin Err, pleasure to meet you." She turned to offer her hand to Vaith as well amused by his expression. "Hello, I'm Sin Err, seems we'll be spending some quality time together." Boils, boils, she wanted her ghoul friends to show up.

Sleep wasn't exactly the easiest thing to do when one was plagued with anxiety linked to the trip. No, Mei had barely slept a wink that night, and instead, found herself attempting to preoccupy herself with tasks through the night to keep herself from going insane. It seemed to work for the most part, as she was a little calmer when it came time to board.
Curious to find out how she would be traveling, Mei arrived earlier than she normally would; to have a chance to possible explore the ship she was assigned to. It was huge! All of this---for twelve people!? Was it really necessary? Oh well. At least they wouldn't have space issues with each other. However, from what she saw, she wasn't the only one to arrive early. She could already make out four students on board the ship. Two boils, and two ghouls, one ghoul who seemed somewhat familiar---if only because the purple skin and multicoloured hair.
Pushing her hood back to fall to her shoulders, she grasped her newly made HP doll, slipping it on like a backpack---which it actually was. Her father was great for making things in short notice! The HP Doll was equipped to last for the duration of this trip, possibly longer; while also holding a small amount of items if needed. Which was great for the doll, as she didn't need to bring as much stuff as other students.
Looking over the ship as she boarded, she couldn't help but grimace upon noticing the name of the ship. Deep down, she just hoped the name had nothing to do with the ships capabilities.. Yeah right. Straitening herself out more, she brushed her hair from her face and continued up onto the ship. Once there, she stopped before the four, gesturing with a small wave. "Are we the only one's here right now?"

Ooh, so Riley had been talking to her demon friends about him, had she? Well, that was all to the good, so far as he was concerned. After all, Sin was quite lovely. The dragon boil offered the demoness a little bow, faint smirk playing across his lips.
"And a pleasure to meet you as well. I always regretted we weren't able to see a bit more of one another during or after the last . . . little trip this school sent us on." He did recall her healing him a time or three during that event, though much of the last part of it was something of a blur thanks to his constant state of injury at the time.
Just then, yet another (hot) ghoul boarded the ship and Aksaja shrugged slightly. "Seems so, for the moment." Walking over to her, he took Mei's hand and bowed slightly over it. Heh . . . seemed all those things his father had made him learn might come in handy here. "Aksaja. Nice to meet you."

Israfel looked like he'd been beaten alive. Feathers askew, earwing half folded, hair tangles, a sock missing, eyes bloodshot and wild. Plus he was tweaking up a storm. Each sound the boat made made the siren jump and look around. Frankly put, Israfel was a wreck. He had always prided himself on looks, but today, so high strung, it seemed that he was most certainly off. The night had not been kind. He'd spent the last day in self wallowing pity and torment due to the very thought of being on a boat. A sinkable boat. A boat in the water. He'd be on a boat, the kind of thing he was born to sink.
Nope. The night had not been kind, every time he closed his eyes images of him trapped under the sinking vessel came to mind. Of falling into the water and being eaten alive by a sea monster. Yes, the siren certainly had done himself in. Self induced nightmares left Israfel wide awake the whole night, and clearly from his dress and appearance, it had taken it's toll. Each step on the boat had another tremble, another twitch. By the time he was on the boat, he was a puffed up ball of frayed feathers. "Whereisthesafestplacetobeincasetheshipsinks?" His voice was squeaking for jack's sake.
He was rather pathetic overall.

Winter stood off to the side as the students slowly began to filter onto her boat. Her arms were crossed, and the look on her face read nothing more than sheer distaste for this entire ordeal. Although it wasn't likely Red's fault, the demoness still felt the desire to push all the blame onto the gym teacher.
Standing at her side was Xypher. Those familiar with Ms.Winter's Etiquette class would recall him as being, essentially, her bouncer. He kept people in check, he did the dirty work. Anything and everything Winter wanted done, he quickly rushed to do. Unfortunately, for the time being, he was demoted to general labourer. Something even the apparition wasn't looking forward to.
When more than a handful of students had appeared on the yacht, Winter's nose wrinkled. This just would not do. It was bad enough that she had to spend time on her boat at all, but with a bunch of unkempt, hormonal teenagers? It was almost too much for Winter to bear.
"Xypher... come. I have something we need to do." the demoness turned from her stead.
While she couldn't change her lot in this trip, she could at least change what her eyes would be burdened with...
(( OOC : WELL GUYS. Winter doesn't like people who don't dress for the occasion, and well. She doesn't feel that any of you have, regardless of your current attire. So as you all either walk onto the ship, or make your way around it, you suddenly find yourselves in formal wear. Floor length evening dresses/heels for the ladies, and suits/ties for the gentlemen. And no, you can't get your old clothes back. You will find them in your room when you get home. You may pick your outfits but keep in mind there is no midriff showing, and the clothing may not clash.
HAVE FUN AND WELCOME ABOARD THE OVERBOARD.))

"Hmmm.." She hummed as Aksaja answered her question. Well.. Its not like they were leaving right this second anyways, they has a bit of time before departure. Watching as he took her hand and bowed, she offered a small smile in return. "Nice to meet you as well. I'm Mei-Xiu, feel free to call me Mei though." Aksaja.. Where had she heard that name before? Oh! The Scarentine auction! Of course! He was one of the students up for bids. She was surprised she hadn't recognized him before. Oh well.
Eye's shifting upon the sound of someone's voice squeaking, Mei watched as the Siren boarded the ship as well. Whoa! What happened to him? He looked awful! "Uhh.. I'm not sure." Poor guy, out of all the times she had seen him, this was the first she had seen him in such a state. Gesturing him to come over to the growing group, she hoped that he would possibly ease up over time. Though, it probably wasn't likely.
Suddenly, Mei felt a difference in the feel of her clothes, and the restriction as well. "What the--" Her attire had changed completely! But----how? When? When did this happen? Last she remembered, she was dressed in her casual clothing! She had never worn... THIS! Mei didn't even own an evening gown! So how in all of Halloween did this happen!? Looking up, it appeared everyone's appearances had differed from how they originally looked.
"What.. Just happened..?"
