There is a large boat floating in the harbour, or is it a giant violin? It is hard to tell right away but as you draw nearer to the object you realize that the giant violin is actually a beautifully tailored boat with a stern that takes the form of a violin's scroll while the bow comes into a pointed shape that reminds you of the endpin of a cello.

Day 0: I discovered the pleasure of which students will be joining me on this wonderful boat ride. Oh how I look forward to spending these long days alone with ten students. I hope that trick or treater doesn't get in my way. I'm sure I'd enjoy tossing them overboard about as much as I would a student. The only thing that could make this trip better is if Red was here. For my reference, here is a list of students who are supposed to attend:
Aedan - 29/29 HP Altair - 29/29 HP Alwine - 29/29 HP Arachne - 29/29 HP Efflo - 29/29 HP Gabrian - 29/29 HP Mac - 29/29 HP Renaissance - 29/29 HP Rosciel - 29/29 HP Tabitha - 29/29 HP
Day 1: We finally cast off into the sea and now I really miss Red. It is so unfair that we couldn't be on the same ship together. How wonderful would it be if I could serenade her and throw some students overboard? I really want to throw the gryphon off the ship before he throws up on my Red Lady. At least the crew was amusing when they tried to catch the fish. They even got me some fish. Perhaps I'll feel better if I don't let them eat. Appeal Blue had been enjoying his view of the students from at the back of the boat, happily leaning against the bow. Although he finally had his boat of children and they were set off in the ocean -- he missed Red. He wished she was on the boat with him. Their boat. His Red Lady. It wasn't fair that he was in the middle of the ocean and she wasn't here with him. How was he suppose to seduce her when she wasn't even around! His gloom only seemed to spread the more he watched the deck of his ship.
Apparently, if he couldn't have Red he'd have to take it out on everyone else. He demanded they learn how to catch food, since it seemed he was going to refuse feeding them unless they did. If they wanted food so badly, they'd have to go get it. The demon would smirk happily as he watched them suffer, trying to direly catch fish. Eventually they might figure it out, increasing their skills and gaining 50 food to the ship, but for now, it was enough to take his mind off Red not being here. The Boat's Statistics (Day 1) Boat Size: Large Number of Days Traveled so Far: 2 Food: 225 Boat Fear Escape Tries: 0/1 Teacher's Bonus: Not used. ALL Student's HP 29/29 HP - None was deducted. Day 2: Today the students had a wonderful time, splashing about in the water. It was a shame none of them drowned a beautiful death, but I think one nearly did. Of course, he was pulled back overboard thanks to that trick or treater, but it was also her fault. I suppose I could throw her over, could I? No one would notice with all the fog that rolled in. It will take at least three days to find out way out, losing 50 food. I might have to ration it soon. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 2As all of the students began to go under the deck to change into dryer clothes, and the crew finished doing their small tasks, Blue remained up on the deck. The captain would stay with his Lady in Red, and watch the ocean. It was quiet, and the waves made a soothing sound for anyone who happened to remain on deck. There was a fog coming in quickly to the ship, and soon it covered all of the area and the deck. It was impossible to see out of and soon Blue couldn't see anything more than a few feet past the ship. It was thick, very thick. Some students might find it hard to breath if they came back up on the deck.
There were strange noises from all around them. Who knew what was in the mist? It would take at least three days to get out of it, and in the process lose 50 food. The Boat's Statistics (Day 2) Boat Size: Large Number of Days Traveled so Far: 7 Food: 150 Boat Fear Escape Tries: 0/1 Teacher's Bonus: Not used. ALL Student's HP 29/29 HP - None was deducted. Day 3: Today was rather quiet, and I didn't see much of that trick or treater. In her absence, I rallied together the crew into song. It was wonderful, until a gnome thought he was a star and overwhelmed the song. Fortunately, a school of fish that were swimming by the boat heard it and promised they would help us out of the fog a day earlier if we stopped him. Good trade.
We don't have to worry about starving now either, other than some guidance out of the fog we also managed to pass the time with some more fishing. It's a good thing we got some more food, I might have started rationing the food off. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 3After the earlier event that ended up with one gnome nearly being thrown overboard and a school of fish bribing The Lady in Red to stop the gnome that could not sing from singing by offering them safe passage through the fog a day earlier than expected, Blue seemed in good spirits. He had come to terms with the fact that although getting to their destination a day earlier could mean he would have less time alone with the students, it also meant he could see Professor Red sooner. It was a compromise, he'd have to take what he got right now to get something really good later.
This didn't prevent Professor Blue from insisting they fish up the fish that had so gratefully guided them in the direction. Perhaps if they caught one of those fish they'd throw them back in but for now they would fish. It was a nice activity. It was almost on par with students singing. Either way, they resulted in getting an extra 50 food. It was a good thing too, because Professor Blue was about to stop feeding the students. The Boat's Statistics (Day 3) Boat Size: Large Number of Days Traveled so Far: 8 Food: 175 Boat Fear Escape Tries: 0/1 Teacher's Bonus: Blue rallied the crew together in song and took a day off the trip thanks to a horrible voice and some friendly fish. ALL Student's HP 29/29 HP - None was deducted. Day 4: Today was nice. I felt like I left the students with something they can take away from this field trip and use in my class when it resumes. I have great hopes for that one nix child. The gryphon has my approval, he managed to continue even when he found himself unable to properly walk and fell flat on the deck.
I must say it is nice not seeing the trick or treater around. Perhaps I accidentally threw her overboard in my sleep? Well, one could hope... but then I wouldn't have the pleasure of watching her drown. It seems I am stuck between desires here. Both are such nice results. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 4Professor Blue had high expectations of his students and most of all: Gabrian. The demon was not disappointed as the nix demon out performed the rest of his students and successfully sang his song. He nodded to all of the other students as they performed, until a certain gryphon's feet were caught in the ropes of the ship and soon found himself falling on the deck of the ship with a loud thump and squawk. That certainly couldn't have been part of the show, and the captain couldn't help but smile as he seemed to handle it with a bit of optimism as he seen the tapping on the plastic surface of the bucket.
Pleased, he gave the ship a good pat, before he hopped off the railing and over to Ren. He offered him a helping hand up off the deck, along with a silver pumpkin seed for his efforts. After that he moved onto Mac who had used his mop in a way even Blue could approve of. It was a much better use of it than what the trick or treater had in mind. He smiled at the reaper and handed him a silver pumpkin seed as well.
"That's a good beat," he said to Arachne as he dropped a silver pumpkin seed onto the metal pot in front of her. "Next time, we'll have the gryphon over there dance to it."
Finally, he got to Gabrian. Gabrian was one of his top students, or at least, the demon had very high hopes for him. He expected very good things from him and fortunately for the nix, he was not disappointed. He had done very well for an impromptu music number and better than the rest. Best of all, he hadn't tripped over anything. He didn't say anything to him though, just giving him a smile before he walked away and went below deck. However, when the nix demon arrived back in his room he'd find a strange cube waiting for him.
It seemed that after Blue went to his cabin, the students's morale had risen. Perhaps they would have felt revitalized, but they already seemed to be at full HP.
(( Dark Fire Angel, please post your Mini Pet Site username so I can give you your prize. Enoh Love, Sayuri_Nitta and Kuro-Mizuki all won one silver pumpkin seed. ALL Student's HP 29/29 HP - None was deducted nor can it go over 29. Day 5: It seems I may have accidentally pressed something I shouldn't have when I was under the deck. It seems I may have accidentally lost some precious cargo, putting us two days behind and losing 25 food. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 5The trick or treater had suddenly made a reappearance, much to Blue's dismay. She was doing something up on the deck with his students and other than it involving the students it seemed absolutely boring. Instead of sitting around and watching, the demon wandered off below the deck. Under the deck of the ship, Blue found himself tinkering with things that the demon probably had no idea what he was tinkering with and suddenly his hand hit a hatch. An emergency release hatch.
Up on the deck there was an unfortunate student that happened to be right by the hatch. Poor Ren soon found himself thrown over the railing of the ship and into the water below. Blue was below deck without a clue, it would be up to the students to save him.
(( To make an attempt to pull Ren back on board, roll 1-10 sided die. You may only roll once. To successfully save Ren, you must roll a 7. ALL Student's HP 29/29 HP - None was deducted. Day 6: Well. I didn't do it. It seems we had an accident earlier and one of the students fell overboard. It was a shame I didn't do it, but thankfully he was unharmed. That would have been a shame. A real shame. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 6Instead of watching where the ship was going Blue was still under the deck fiddling with things the demon probably had no idea what to do with and when he came up he not only noticed that Ren had fallen overboard. Not only had he nearly drowned but that he was saved. He wasn't sure if he was happy, or sad about this. He missed this and his concern was apparent. His solution to this was his solution to everything: song. He rallied his crew together and forced them to sing a song for Ren, but they had done such a horrible job Blue found himself marching back under the deck and began to binge on the food rations. It seemed he ate 25 food in the process and didn't even watch as the ship sailed right back into the foggy waters. This would cost them another three days and 50 food.
A good while passed by while the trick or treater up on deck kept the students busy with some strange hot beverage that Blue probably didn't approve of. Realizing that they weren't going to have enough food to make the rest of the trip, the demon went out of his way to find them sticks and put music strings on them. He couldn't have his students dying because of starvation, now could he? No, he couldn't. Poles in hand, Blue went back on deck and garnered the attention of the students.
"We lack food for the rest of this voyage for some reason. It's time to fish, or starve." He said bluntly as he handed out the sticks.
Full stomach and happy, the demon laid back on the deck and felt the cool fog against his skin. Such a nice trip.

Day 7: I feel as if food is disappearing when I need it most. I can't bring myself to be the cause of the student's dying because there was no food. Hopefully we get to our destination soon. Appeal GM EVENT POST: DAY 7Most of the students that had humoured the professor found themselves in luck. He had gotten off his behind and blessed Alwine, Rosciel, Ren, Mac and Gabrian with silver pumpkin seeds. It seemed in Arachne's ignorance and hurry to leave, Blue completely missed her as she left the deck. There seemed to be something stuck in her hood though: a small, unnoticeable sugar cube. How'd that get there? Perhaps it had fallen in there when she went under the deck.
In the end, the students had gotten 65 lbs of fish while they had fished for approximately three days. It had been a relatively quiet time, while Professor Blue seems to happily spend the days napping on the deck and occasionally steering the ship away from rocks. Only occasionally. A few times they had hit a shallow area a had to carefully steer their way out of it. Luckily no one had found themselves thrown into the water and Professor Blue quickly adverted the problem. He couldn't let rocks damage his precious Lady in Red, after all.
Fog seemed to be Professor Blue's mortal enemy while on this field trip and once again they found themselves approaching the thick and heavy fog that took days just to find themselves out of. This time Professor Blue was prepared though and he was quickly able to use the fear from the boat to get themselves out of trouble.
After doing a good job the demon settled back against the boat and gave her a good petting. It was time to celebrate, and soon the demon once again rallied the crew together to sing. It was hard to tell what the professor was expecting. They sang bad every time and just like before he seemed surprised, upset and disappointed. It was time to go back under deck for some private time with the ship. He had some captain duties to attend to or something.
Of course, he was going to go eat the food in a depression binge but when he got there, he found they were short 25 lbs. How strange. This seemed to worry the professor quickly. He could not have his students starve. That would not do. If he had to he would fish too, but for now he went back up onto the deck and gave the students a pleasant smile. He didn't even make them sing.

Ren was feeling extraordinarily seasick. And he hadn't even gotten on the boat yet.
For one thing, dragging himself out of bed at that ridiculous hour was making him rather grumpy. Who's bright idea was it to have them all meet at seven in the morning, anyway? Ren had rolled out from underneath his warm, obscenely comfortable covers at six forty-five to find that LW, Alessa, and Gabrian were already all awake and ready to go. With a sigh of exasperation (and exhaustion), Ren had moved at a glacier pace around the room, checking to make sure that his minipets would be well-fed and cared for while he was away and double checking to see if he could cram yet another pillow into his bag and get away with it (most unfortunately, he could not). Once he was certain that Rhys would not wreak havoc (or at least, not much), he let out another sigh, grabbed his bag, and followed the rest out the door.
Most unfortunately, he had to say goodbye to most of them at the docks, casting dejected looks at his ghoulfriend and best friend as they parted. However, he still had Gabrian, so this was a good thing. Hopefully.
"I do not want to step onto this thing I do not want to step onto this thing..." Ren mumbled to himself, staring at the large and rather elegant looking ship in the harbor. It was somewhat pretty, if he squinted and maybe didn't look quite so hard... "I do not want to step onto this thing I do not want to step onto this thing I do not want to step onto this thing..."
He stepped onto the thing. Wobbling a bit as he made his way onto the boat, Ren hugged his bag to his chest, trying to find a suitable room. He supposed they would all be sharing rooms - so he stumbled across the bow, trying to find a way to the lower decks, all the while attempting to A.) Not throw up all over the nice, shiny wood, and B.) Find Gabrian, as well as C.) Scope out whoever else happened to be in on this shindig with them. Ren did not know 99% of the students on the boat, but he figured they should all get to know each other pretty well, since they were, in fact, stuck with each other for the duration as it was.
I need a nap.
Either that, or a rather large bucket.

Mac was almost too excited to sleep properly. Almost. Luckily for him the previous night's dinner accidentally contained some sort of sleeping powder, and thus he managed to get a good, deep night's sleep. So deep he didn't have the dreaded feeling of being watched from his dorm room window by a little pink minipet with a scarf and wing ears. Yes, his feelings were that specific.
He woke up on time, he had his bag ready, and he made his way to the boat itself, staring up at it. Wow. Lots of red. Looots of red. It was a rather nice ship however, and that made it all better.
A brief tour of the place on his own, with the intent to scout his surroundings and perhaps even attempting to find that headless-or-invisible-he-couldn't-tell ghoul named Alwine that he had been threatened with bodily harm to protect at all costs, had him instead coming across a sick looking Gryphon, or at least what he assumed was a gryphon.
The Gryphon wasn't that Headless-Or-Invisible Ghoul, and truely he had no reason to reach out and help the Monster, but at the same time...it was important for him to meet as many different types as possible, right? Right. Shouldering his bag, he headed towards the Gryphon, tapping him not-so-lightly on the arm.
"Ya look a little sick there, man." Mac started, stating the obvious. "You'll get used to it, I'm sure." He added, in what he hoped was a comforting tone. "But hey, always room for distractions! I'm Mac, and I bet asking you what your favourite thing is, is a jackin' good one." A jackin' good distraction, he meant. Nothing better to cure the seasick than to get them rambling on something that makes them happy, right?
That hopefully meant there would be no puke to step over or clean up.
"I like Videogames, myself." Mac started, leading by example.

Well, here it was. The dreaded trip. She'd been up for hours, hadn't really slept in fact, she'd been out gathering flies for her Skitters and had let them loose in her room. Of course it meant she would be returning to lots of dried out fly carcasses but her pet had to eat, and although she had left her dorm window open a fraction so that he could venture out for more food if needed she didn't want him doing that too often.
And now here she was, at the harbour, looking at the strangely shaped boat that pretty much resembled a floating violin. Arachne wasn't even sure if she got seasick as this would be her first time setting foot on a boat, but she hoped she wouldn't. There was only one way to find out, and she crossed the walkway and onto it proper, her single bag causing her to lean over slightly.
She decided to explore, wondering if she was the first to arrive or if her fellow shipmates were already looking around.

Efflo had been sad to discover that morning that not even a flake of hay, let alone a bale, was going to fit in his suitcase. He didn't need to eat, but it was comforting to him and something told him this boat ride was going to be anything but comfortable. The undead boy glanced at the clock and realized that in all his grumbling, he hadn't noticed he was running late. Quickly, he shoved an extra pair of breeches and some apples into his suitcase before locking his door and sprinting, rather comically, out of his dorm. “Ugh,” he muttered, “This would be so much faster on four legs!”
The zombie horse paused once he got outside of the dorms, glancing around with narrowed eyes. In a blink, he stood suddenly on four legs and hooves, his skeletal face eerie in the strange shrouded weather of Halloweentown. He stretched his neck down to clasp his suitcase in his bony teeth- then he was off.
What the glowing creature didn't plan on was the throng of students that were gathered at the docks, and he definitely hadn't considered the slippery wetness of the grass. As funny as a horse carrying a suitcase and slip-sliding on the grass looked, it wasn't very humorous when the lumbering bulk was headed your way. Add in the fact that he had just caught sight of his boat, and the flimsy looking walkway he was supposed to cross, and it was quickly becoming a recipe for disaster.
Efflo slammed on the breaks, his hindquarters tucking up beneath himself, repeating a mantra of apologies as he unintentionally forced students to step out of the way. He only hoped he didn't hit anyone, as he skidded to a stop right before the musical instrum- er, boat. He stared up at the thing, catching his breath and he gulped as he looked down at the water, then to the boat gently swaying. He had to get on that?! What were they thinking? There was no way, no how; he planted his hooves firmly on the ground, snorting at the ramp before him.

Tabitha hadn't slept at all that night. She never really needed to, like eating, but it had always been something to do whenever she got really stressed. As she looked up at the large ship that was designated "Boat 2" or also "Lady In Red" she wished sorely that she had slept. The thought of not knowing what to expect, if anyone would like her, and possibly ending up overboard and in the water- The skeleton was now properly stressed the Jack out(she hated using the Skeleton's Name in vain). Clutching the one suitcase she was allowed to bring, despite many pleas with the Gnomes, the possibly teen had an empty feeling in her stomach she didn't like.
It wasn't fair she wasn't allowed to bring at least Fussy who usually resided in the space between her ribs and hips.
Not wanting to take that first step up the plank onto the first day of the field trip until she was sure she had to, she was suddenly shoved and a skeletal foot shoved onto the plank anyway as a glowing pile of undead horse rammed into her. Her hat was knocked clear off of her head and into the water and letting out a wail of dispair she turned to address her attacker. It was lucky for him that he looked almost as desperate and distressed as she felt- So instead of yelling at him to get her hat she tried to smile. "Is this your boat too? ... If you'd like I'll go with you and we can ..." She didn't know what they would do going up the ramp. "We can keep each other from slipping maybe? Bony feet like wet wood about as much as your hooves do, I bet. By which I mean not at all."

Unlike Ren, Gabrian seemed to be in high spirits. Just being able to be near water put him in a good mood, and almost as if to contrast with the gryphon's foul, sickly looks, the demon seemed perfectly happy with the whole ordeal. Or... he would have been perfectly happy with the whole ordeal had they not had to leave both Alessa and LW behind on the docks to board a different ship. He'd been busy saying goodbye to the were-wolf and as such, had left Ren alone to board.
However, he followed after the other boil, soon enough locating him amongst the crowd (He was the wobbling, tumbling one) "Ren... you look like you could turn milk sour. Cheer up. I doubt anything will happen on the ship; it looks rather huge and quite sturdy. Besides, even in the worst of cases, you can probably hitch a ride on my back; we'll keep your wings dry," He had to run to catch up to his companion, and honestly, with a guitar strapped to his back and a small suitcase which... actually contained far more than it looked to be able to, it was a lot harder than he'd initially thought it would.
Due to struggling with the bag, it was actually Mac whom arrived there first, "No, he won't," drawled the demon as he finally hoisted the bag up into his arms, "He hates water. Anything related to water. I pretty much predict he's going to spend the whole trip looking like that, if not worse," a pause as the demon decided that introducing himself was probably a good idea, "My name is Gabrian, and the sick one... is Renaissance," the only reason he decided to introduce the gryphon too was... that he wasn't entirely sure the poor boil was going to be able to say all that much without having to turn away to find a bucket, "Are we all supposed to room together? or how is this all meant to work?" out of the corner of an eye, he spotted Arachne, and despite the fact he was still having trouble with the luggage and guitar, he managed to offer her a small wave and a smile, "Good to see some familiar faces."

Arachne rounded a corner and saw the three boils; Ren who she knew only briefly who looked rather queasy, a boil she'd never met and Gabrian who was nice enough, and he even greeted her. With a little bit of hesitation she joined the small group, hoisting her bag back onto her shoulder, wincing as the shoulder strap bit into her flesh again. She'd packed too much.
'Hello.'
She could feel the boat moving, almost impercetibly but enough to let you know that you weren't standing on solid ground, well the boat wasn't at any rate. It was disconcerting.

Rosciel didn't mind boats. He didn't mind sailing, didn't mind water. He wasn't an avid swimmer, his wings made it too complicated, but at least he knew how. It would have been very difficult to get his things out of the lake at home otherwise. He stood on the docks, paused for a moment to look over Blue's boat, a small smirk of approval on his face and a black duffle bag hanging from one shoulder. It was pretty lightly packed, a couple of changes of clothes and wraps, mostly food/snacks. There was even a shirt somewhere at the bottom. He wasn't wearing his usual coat, this one wasn't as torn at the bottom and didn't have the red stitched webbing. He wasn't about to bring his favorite coat on a school trip, Sin's stories and the encounter around Breck's had told him enough to not trust the level of safety of these school trips.
He stopped behind the undead horse and skeletal ghoul that were standing in front of the ramp. The horse student, as Rosc had to assume by it being on the docks and with a suitcase, was blocking the ramp, the ghoul just adding to that. He cleared his throat loudly, a small frown on his face.

Alwine wasn't too worried about only being able to pack one bag. She had only brought her carpetbag with her on the trip to Christmas Town, so she figured the same carpetbag would serve this trip as well. She stuffed bandages and a bathing suit in it, among the usual changes of clothes. Being a ghost made it very easy for her to pack.
Even though the ghoul didn't need sleep, she still was not the first one to arrive at the docks. In fact, it looked like most of the passengers had already arrived.
Looking at the boat, butterflies once again started to form in Alwine's stomach. She had very little resistance against Blue's charm, and that worried her. Simply by being in that music class, Alwine could tell that Professor Blue was a bit of a sadist. She would have to learn to hide her pleasure at playing the cello from him, or he might replace it with something worse. Right... reverse psychology...
As she looked down in the water, Alwine noticed a hat floating about. Without limitations imposed on her by the school, it wasn't a lot of trouble for her to phase through the boards of the dock and pick up the fallen garment.
"Is anyone missing a hat?" she said.

Efflo nodded sheepishly at Tabitha, suitcase currently occupying his mouth. He hadn't meant to stay in horse form this long, worriedly he looked around for school staff. He didn't see any yet but he figured he had better change back before he did. In an instant he was a boy again, picking his suitcase up off the ground. It was probably for the best, anyway, he couldn't talk in horse form.
"I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean to run into you like that, I just couldn't stop," he apologized, looking guilty. He should have known better. But the zombie horse was grateful for her offer, because as uncoordinated as he seemed in horse form, he was trouble waiting to happen on two legs. He was also happy that he wasn't the only one to be less than excited about boarding. He nodded in reply to her questions, holding out an arm if she wished to take it. The boy wasn't sure if that was the right gesture, but something from his memories hinted that it was good practice to be a gentleman to a lady.
Yet, before either would be able to move forward, a newly familiar voice caught his ears. He turned to see Alwine holding Tabitha's hat, and smiled a bit. When he had met her, she had been apologizing profusely to him and now it had been his turn to do so to Tabitha. He waved at the ghost, but only then did it dawn on him that he didn't know her name, nor the skeleton's.
"Over here! It belongs to... Uh... I am sorry Miss, but I don't know your name."
It seemed like Rosciel might have to wait a little longer.

Ren turned his head slowly to see who it was that was speaking to him, ears flattening back against his head. "...'lo..." he mumbled out, pressing his fingers to his lips. He did not recognize the boil that stood near him, but tilted his head slightly, as if scrutinizing him.
"Erm," said Ren, after the boil - Mac - had finished speaking. He tried to come up with something intelligent to say, but his sleep hazed mind that was busy attempting to keep him sane around all this water seemed to have failed him. Opening his mouth, Ren started to say I like videogames too (or at least, attempted to say; he didn't actually know if he would have managed to get the words out), but someone else stepped in before he could.
"He hates water. Anything related to water. I pretty much predict he's going to spend the whole trip looking like that, if not worse."
One ear flicked upwards, and Ren felt relief crash into him. "Gabriannnnn," he said, in what was a pitiful attempt at wailing, and all but fell pathetically against the demon. It was probably not the best idea, considering that he was carrying two things, so with a sigh, Ren straightened, turning back to Mac (though he still stood stupidly close to Gabrian). Ordinarily he would have retaliated at the demon's words with some sort of quick witted banter, but most unfortunately, Gabrian was right. He was going to look rather miserable, and there was no helping that.
"Yes," he said. "Ren, yes, I'm...Ren." I will not puke, I will not puke... "I, erm...pleased to meet you, Mac. I happen...to like videogames too. More particularly Scario Kart. That's my favorite."
Okay, distraction was good. Yes. Ren liked distractions, and Mac's method was working, sort of. Blinking, Ren turned to look around at the rest of their motley crew, focusing on trying to meet everyone instead of just how much water there was beneath him. He gave a weak smile in greeting to Arachne, who he did not know, but had seen before. There was another boil, one with large wings who Ren thought he had seen before, but he was partially blocked from view by a dead horse..thing... (Like Kilometer! Ren thought. Except a different animal) and a skeleton ghoul. Ren did not recognize any of these students, and he peered around Gabrian curiously, clutching his bag against his chest.
"Do you know anyone?" he asked, directing the question to Mac.
