Mytho had wanted to go to the park but it wasn't something that would be allowed! Even if their guardian had said that he could go Tianlong forbid it, not until he'd gotten the boy completely dressed from head to toe, got him a coat, shoes, and then and only then was he allowed to go... but not without him. He was his bodyguard because he was the only one that seemed to understand something about Mytho... as cute as he was, as big as he was, he wasn't what he appeared to be. Tianlong wondered what was wrong with him, guessed it to be some sort of mental deficiency, but knew that despite looking at though he were a preteen he had the mind of a child, he needed to be taken care of like a child! And being that he was a bit to cute for his own good Tianlong knew that people would likely bother him if he didn't keep them away...
If they came close to him with ill intentions he would murder them... pure and simple as that, he would kill them. And being who he was, what he was, it was completely possible that he would be able to do just that without much hassle. He was a dragon after all, a powerful one at that, and one that had the power over fire! It wasn't as though they would find a body if he so choose to deal with someone!
"Tian? We play?" Came a soft voice, that of the one clinging to his hand, gazing up at him with those naive orange eyes, and he couldn't help but to smile back.
"Yeah, we can play." He said, slithering along, scooping the boy up in his arms, and glared at those that got to close. He would let him play with those that he deemed fit to play with him, those of the right age and attitude, and nobody else but those worthy!

Damien sighed heavily as he read through his homework, something he'd much rather be doing in his room or his stained glass hideaway or anywhere other than a park bench. But ever since that pebble - oh, that damned pebble - had hatched and a redheaded duckling Eilian had called him 'Mama', what he wanted had been put on the backburner (even moreso than usual). He scratched at his leg nervously through his pants as he tried to keep his temper under control; he couldn't blame the boy for hatching, but he did seriously resent the universe's new design to take away from his personal time. But he would learn to adapt, as shown by his new place of study, one eye always on the caterwauling duckling fooling around on the playground.
"Mama, Mama, lookit me!!"
When Damien glanced up, it was to see the small crossdresser having hung himself upside down on the playground's barre, orange braid hanging down behind his head. Bright yellow wings fluttered happily before hanging down as well, the tips of the pretty feathers barely brushing the chilly wood chip covered ground.
Damien jumped up with a start, tossing his homework to the side and rushing over to his young charge. "D-Dayo! Be careful! Don't hurt yourself!" He placed his hands on the boy to support him, a nervous smile on his face. "Th- Uh, that's a cool trick, Dayo. Very neat. Just... be careful." Another awkward chuckle. This parenting was going to give him a heart attack...

Two small black wings flapped sullenly as Rue walked on the sidewalk that wound throughout the park. His red eyes slowly scanned his surroundings with a sort of detached resentment. He had not wanted to come here... Why was he here, anyway? He would much rather be dancing. That was all he wanted to do: dance. Dance day in and day out... What better way to spend ones time?
Nat had different plans, though. Ever since his son came to being out of... a strange little stone, he had strove to be the greatest father he could physically be. The arrival of his son took a great toll on Nat, but he felt that he was pushing through it well. He was busier than ever, what with running between a coffee shop and ballet lessons, but he could not be happier. He was a young, single man who lived by himself and owned his own cafe... and he now had a little son. ...Somehow it would work.
It took a bit of trouble with moving around his schedule [and taking the risk of disgruntled customers], but Nat managed to find a day just for himself and Rue. The two now walked hand in hand through the park, and Nat longed to find some other children for his son to play with... It was then that he saw a few other children a small ways away. Smiling, Nat released Rue's small hand and nudged him forward. "Go on, Rue: go play with the other kids! I'm sure you'll have a bunch of fun! How about it?"
The little Betzalel gazed up at his father with an unreadable expression in his eyes. After a moment, he spoke softly. "...'kay." Without another word, Rue walked past his father towards one of the other children who caught his interest: a taller looking one with cloud-white hair and wings. Curious by the child's odd appearance, Rue approached him and blinked at him. "Hi. M' name's Rue."

Mytho had been slowly approaching the playground, taking in the others that were playing as he went, then gave a little jump of surprise when someone came over to him, speaking to him, introducing himself, and he couldn't help but to stare for a long moment, "Rue?" It was a nice name he thought to himself, a nice name for a nice boy. He wasn't sure why but this person just felt... nice to him, "My name is Mytho." He said, pointing at himself, before smiling in a childish manner that didn't really seem to sync up with his older appearance.
He turned to look over at the playground equipment, then over to Tianlong to make sure that it was alright for him to play with the one called Rue and after a moment of what looked like deep thought on the part of the dragon he was given the go ahead. Mytho's smile grew a bit more, "Want to play, Rue?" He asked, sure that someone like Rue would likely be better at playing then Tianlong was since his idea of play was watching as Mytho played while keeping the bad guys away... though he'd yet to see anyone them. Still, if Tianlong believed they were around they likely were somewhere.
His attention was on the various toys, trying to decide which to play on. From the looks of the redhead that was already there playing it must be so much fun. He was quite eager to get to playing himself though he waited, wanting to see if Rue wished to play with him before he went running ahead of the smaller boy.

Rue's stoic expression shifted for the slightest moment into something remotely resembling surprise - or even joy - when the white-haired one introduced himself, giving out his own name. So, he was called Mytho. Mytho... It was a lovely name. For whatever reason, hearing that name in Rue's head reminded the child of soft things, like flowers or doves' feathers. It was a pure name. He liked that a lot.
The goofy little smile the older-looking boy gave made Rue smile as well, laughing a little as he did so. "'Kay. Let's play." With the affirmation of Mytho's invitation, Rue began to walk towards the jungle gym a short ways away where another child, a red-head, was already playing. Rue was a little unhappy towards the notion that he would have to share a jungle gym with someone else, much less sharing a playmate with someone else, but hopefully the other kid would just ignore them and not bother with them. Mytho asked Rue to play, after all.
"Mm... Let's play castle," Rue said to Mytho. "You be the prince, an' I'll be the princess, an' you can rescue me. 'Kay?" Rue looked up at his new playmate with his red eyes questioningly.
