Myrina had spent the day roaming the rogue lands, looking and conversing at the few animals namely lions or the odd hyena she came into contact with as she walked around. It was during one of these conversations that the rain had begun to fall, lightly at first and then heavily after a few minutes. Shouting a quick sorry to the leopardess she had been talking too, Myrina had dashed off to try to find some shelter.

Just when she was about to give up on some sort of an overhang Myrina spotted a little nook that was hidden behind a large as well as tall tree stump that had moss growing all over it. Letting out a sigh of happiness she ran the rest of the way to the hidden haven. Shivering a little bit Myrina looked around the abandoned cave, the smell of wet fur lingering around her and the small space of the nook-cave.

The sound of the wind howled around the walls making it echo like screaming voices filled with anger. Frowning and shivering Myrina wondered if this was the right place to stop and rest. But the sound of the raining hitting the earth fiercely made her sigh and she made herself suck it up. “ It is only one night, you can do this Myrina. It is just a... creepy... abandoned... dark cave-” Snorting when she realized she was scaring herself even more Myrina shook off the lingering thoughts of fear and concentrated on the thought of semi-warm shelter. What could happen in one night really? Not many would venture out in the rain.

“ I just need to find.. ah!” Myrina spotted a soft spot in the earth, perfect for sleeping on. “ Perfect place to rest for the night!” On tired paws she walked over and collapsed without grace. Now on the ground her eyes fluttered closed for a few minutes before opening. The howling had stopped and melted away to the sound of pelting rain which was making her feel sleepier by the minute. She could not fight it any longer, her eyes slid closed for the last time before soft snores echoed the walls.

The next time she opened her eyes it was morning by the looks of outside, as stray sunbeams touched the wet earth. Myrina just laid there for a few minutes staring out and enjoying the sound as well as the sounds of nature. She was just about to nod off again when the sound of her own stomach made her realize that she had very little to eat yesterday. Mumbling in discomfort but not waiting to leave her warm would-be-home. The hunger pains were becoming frequent now and there was no denying it any longer. Besides she could always bring back her meal and eat it in her cave, yes her cave now. She liked the location, the atmosphere, and how it was far but not too far away from everyone and everything.

Humming and stretching she shook off the lingering sleep in her body before making her way out blinking as the sun shone in her eyes. Nose in the air she enjoyed the feeling of the wind as well as tried to pick up scents of prey. Jerking her head to the right she picked up the scent of rabbit... and something else she could not identify. “ I guess I should have a little look-see then just to be sure I am not in someone else’s hunting grounds.” Myrina whispered out loud as she walked onward to where the noise was heard. Once there she hide in the leaves of a nearby bush and saw that what she had smelt was simply a bird and a rabbit chatting. She debated on eating them or feasting on the juicy berries she had spotted a while back. They really were cute... She sighed and decided to head elsewhere she did not feel like killing a small creature this day.

Shaking her head at the soft feelings Myrina watched as the little flew away and the rabbit hopped away as well. Sticking out her tongue and blowing raspberries bubbles from her mouth she giggled at her childish behaviour before turning around. She was heading for those mouth watering fruits she saw, they looked so delicious but at the time she was too focused on meat to pay that much attention. Her nose flared as the scent hit her full on, mouth watering and eyes heavy lidded she nearly floated towards the heavenly pieces of food that hung from the branches of a freshly green tree.

She ate in silence allowing her eyes to roam around, juice escaping her mouth every now and then as it was really quite juicy. The silence was getting to her, sometimes it was welcomed to her yet... at times like these it was rather was depressing as it reminded her how alone she really was at this point in time. Making a sound almost like a snort Myrina shook her head; there was no point of being all mopey about things that could be changed. She just need to find herself a male or ...babies. Oh how she wanted little darlings of her own, something that needed her, kept her company, and loved her as much as she loved them. Finished eating now Myrina wandered away from the fruit patch and headed to what she now considered her home.

It took only a few minutes at a slow pace but before she went in Myrina decided to sun bath. “ Such wonderful weather should not go to waste!” Smiling now she got into position before rolling onto her back and enjoying her time in the sun now that the rain cloud had been pushed away by the wind. Closing her eyes and smiling happily she felt at peace for the first time in a long time. This is where she belonged for now, in the rogue lands until she got that traveling itch... she was content to bask present time doing nothing but enjoying.
