User Image Here. Here was where he would wait for her. It was the first vision he had ever had that was not broken pieces and muted voices. It was not of his mother, or his other mother. It was of her. Hair pink like flowers, and pelt brown like bark. She was sad, heart broken. He saw that feeling once already, and he hated seeing it again. He wasn't sure who she was, but he knew she was important.

"Maybe I had the time of day wrong," He muttered to himself, checking the height of the sun in the sky. It was correct. Maybe the day was wrong. Perhaps he should come back tomorrow, but he had seen most of what the vision had shown him. He was there sitting, a heard of gazelle going past, and a baby struggling to keep up. He had seen it... She would be here soon.

User ImageKoko was heartbroken, lost and wandering. She didn't much care where she ended up and she wasn't sure what to do with herself. Leaving Behnam behind, well... that had been one of the most painful things she'd ever had to do. Of course she had many regrets about being so cold and careless to her only sister, but this, this hurt in a way that Koko was unfamiliar with. Empty on the inside. A dull, stabbing ache that yawned within her chest, threatening to swallow up her insides and leaving behind an empty husk of a once proud and beautiful lioness.

The only thing that hurt more was learning of his betrayal.

It had been a few days since she'd eaten. Food did not appeal to her. It would not appease the beast that clawed within her chest. Her steps faltered as she fought back tears again. Why was she so stupid? How had she fallen for him so fast and so hard... and why was she too proud to return to him?

It was only a few more moments before he saw her. The dark brown pelt and pink hair. His brow furrowed when he got a good look at her, her face much more wrought with sadness than he had initially seen. Taking in a deep breath he began to walk towards her, though with his small stature his walking was far slower than hers. He had to pick up the pace.

"Miss!" He called, his voice so much more mature sounding than it ought to have been, "Miss are you alright?"

Turn around. He thought to himself as he ran to catch up with her, Turn around and look at me. Tell me why I have seen you. His thoughts raced as he did. He needed to know who she was and why his visions had been called to her. Was she some link to his future? A link to his mother? Would helping her benefit him in the long run?

Koko almost didn't hear the voice that called out to her. That just showed how disconnected she was with the world she lived in. When she finally realized that she was being spoken to, Koko slowly turned an about face and peered at the gangly juvenile that approached her.

"I apologize if I have intruded," she said hoarsely. Her voice was broken by the furious screams she hadn't been able to hold in the nights after she'd left Behnam behind. Tired green eyes watched him carefully. Though he was smaller than she, Koko was weak and sluggish. Her body ached with this fruitless despair that pooled over her like a heavy cloud.

"Please, I mean no harm to you and yours."

"I asked if you were alright," Dosari repeated, a little sterner. She seemed listless, almost as if she was a tuft of shed fur flowing in a breeze. There, but not. He looked over her and noted how skinny she was and frowned, his brows furrowing deeper, "You don't look alright..."

She looked like she needed to sit down and eat. If his mother had been around, and she were naught but a juvenile or adolescent she would scrounge up some grub so quickly and stand over the brown female like death until she was satisfied she had eaten well. Unfortunate as it was, she was an adult and his mother wasn't as kind to adult females as she was to the young ones.

"You should sit down, you look like you're gonna fall over," He said quietly, standing in front of her and planting his but firmly onto the ground.

She didn't feel alright, either. She hadn't for days. Koko had never been the moping sort. She was far too busy being furious and raging at her situation in life. After leaving Behnam, the situation she'd been in before that didn't seem so bad. In fact, she'd have gladly returned home to her mother, but she couldn't now. She couldn't go backward, only forward, until either death came or she found a purpose in life. Part of her wished for death. The sad part, the empty part.

"Where is your mother," she asked softly. He looked well-fed and cared for. That was good. It was nice that he had someone to look after him.

"She is out," Dosari replied, his expression changing from concerned to slightly annoyed and back to concerned as he continued to scan his eyes over the lioness before him. She was thin and weak and needed food.

"You need to eat," He said sternly, going up to her and placing his paws on her arms, "You sit down here. I will bring you back some food. If you don't eat soon than you're gon-"

And than it happened, a frightening jerk from the juvenile cub and he smacked onto the ground. He was scared and looked it. He knew what was happening, he was having a vision come on, but he had never had something so strong hit him before. He could see things, so clearly, as if he was sitting right there, and for once he could here them too. It was like two different movies playing at the same time. He saw one couple, his birth mother Jua'taka and a red and white male, and another couple, who looked so similar to the lioness before her and the same male.

He jerked again, and looked at Koko. Even when he had a vision, he could still move around slightly. It was never enough to move on, so he often worried about having a vision while in danger. He could hear things now, like a whisper and it was nothing but names. Shaking, he opened his mouth and spoke, he voice squeaking and breaking, "A-amara.....S-sarai.... M-m-ment....J-j-jua't-t-t-taka. M-mother. F-father. M-mother."

Koko immediately frowned and she reached out for the cub, his terrified expression causing her own eyes to fill with worry. She wasn't expecting him to just fall down right in front of her, good heavens. Koko wasn't even sure what had happened, at least, not until he started speaking.

She knew for certain she had never mentioned her mother's name to the cub. They'd only met a few moments ago, and she knew that Amara's name had never come up in the conversation. She also knew that while Amara was a normal enough name, her mothers entire name -- Amara'sarai -- wasn't that common of a name.

"Come on kid," she whispered roughly, trying to coax him out of the stupor he was in. She had questions now and she wanted to know why he was saying these strange names, one of which belonged to her mother.

"You okay, little one?"

Dosari shook for a few more seconds and as Koko reached out to touch him and coax him, he managed to jerk out of her reach. Being touched always managed to spark his visions, and if he was already having them more fragments would be sparked. He breathed in labored patterns, and glanced at Koko as she asked him if he was ok.

He nodded to her as his voice crackled, trying to speak again, "V-visions.... I have them."

Dosari coughed hard and breathed in deeply, feeling a cold rush come over him and a little dizziness. He plopped onto the ground, hoping that being stationary would help some. He glanced over to Koko and muttered quietly, "Jua'taka is my birth mother... But I don't know Ment.... or Amara'sarai."
PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 3:42 pm

Jua'taka was his birth mother, and Amara was her birth mother... but who was this Ment? Confused now, Koko drew closer to the male after he'd jerked away but she made no move to touch him this time. She only hoped her nearness was of some comfort to him.

"So you are a seer?" There were many seers in her pride -- her old pride. Even a God lived among the Pads in the pride. "Do you know what this Ment looks like?" She paused, all of the pieces clicking in to place. If Jua was the boy's mother, and Amara was her mother... then Ment was the father? Whose father?

She was confused now. She knew Kwea wasn't her own father but her mother had never spoken of Koko's father.

"Lithe white male," He murmured, watching Koko closely. He didn't distrust her or anything, but he was weary of her now. He had never had such clear and vivid visions before and it frightened him that if she got too close it'd happen again. His was more frightened of the physical reaction than the vision itself. Usually he felt like he got kicked when he had a vision, but this felt like someone pummeled him.

"His eyes were green like yours, and like my brother's... And his mane was split-toned. A bright red, like flowers, and a dark red like blood," He explained, having regained his bearings some and gnawed on his toe which itched greatly at the moment, "... I heard his thoughts and his spoken words. He called the Amara'sarai 'Kitten', and he thought my mom was a crazy racist."

...He didn't want to say what else he saw, but the picture was becoming rather apparent as he thought about it and he looked at her and his brows furrowed in seriousness. "...He had slept with them both."
PostPosted: Mon Mar 14, 2011 4:46 pm

Koko could only think of one thing when he spoke of 'bright red' -- Chacha. Her sister was bright red, red like the sky when the sun set beneath the horizon. Even Edge had the dual-toned mane like the male said. It was so surreal, Koko almost felt like she was dreaming. That meant that this little cub in front of her -- this juvenile before her -- was her half-brother.

As if she didn't have enough of those already, but that thought was fleeting. She didn't let it bother her. No, all of that had stopped bothering her as soon as her thoughts of Behnam had engulfed her mind, but now... the prospect of meeting her father, well, that was a far more pressing matter.

"Where is he," she whispered. She had to find him. She had to meet him.
