It had been a while since Nigel had done a summoning. The last guardian for the vial's had been called to the mansion a few months ago, and things had become relatively quiet since then. Then, the redheaded mage had received a call from one of the vials while he'd been performing an experiment - this had nearly caused him to spill two highly flammable liquids, a fact which did not please him in the least. About 20 minutes later, he'd constructed the circle that would summon the new parent into the basement, and magical energy was swirling around the markings.
The liquid in the vial displaced as Nigel tossed it up into the air, catching it again easily before he threw it up once more. The redheaded man regarded the form who was appeared in the circle with a neutral expression. "I hope that I wasn't interrupting anything." Actually, he didn't particularly CARE whether or not he was - he was only really saying it to avoid any possibly bad reactions to this whole affair. "I have something that belongs to you."

Kaleb was rather confused as he appeared in the room--confused, but apparently thrilled about the entire aspect of being summoned from where he'd been. (He'd been at a meeting with his doctor, the man was convinced the teenage boy was having sex and--well. He wasn't entirely wrong, now was he? Not that Kaleb would tell him that). "Woah, that was cool," was the boy's observation as he looked around.
"Where am I?" he asked. "Nah, you didn't interupt anything important." He paused, and golden eyes studied the red headed mage.
"Something that belongs to me? Like what?"

Well, this was going surprisingly well. Nigel had been partially expecting some form of hissy fit from the young man that he'd summoned. However, this guy seemed to be rather calm - well, he wasn't about to complain. "I mean this." The redheaded mage tossed the vial again, though it flew towards Kaleb rather than up into the air. "That's yours now. Don't break it. It'll be messy if you do."
"You're going to need some supplies. A crib, some infant clothes...stuff like that." The redheaded man leaned back against a desk as he pushed his glasses further up his nose with a finger. "As for where you are...you're in a basement." And he wasn't going to get any information other than that. He and Zak didn't need people showing up at the door of the mansion.

Kaleb caught the vial, blinking. Don't break it? Well, he supposed it was a nice color... What was it? Maybe a better question would have been, what was in it. "Okay," the teenager said. "I won't break it."
He paused, and golden eyes widened. "Supplies?" he asked, a smile growing. He couldn't help it! This was what he had wanted all along! A baby? And this man was giving him one? He beamed at Nigel. "I can do that; we've got some supplies at home left over from... well..." he looked around.
"Nice basement," he commented.

...he was excited? Clearly, this teen knew what it was that he was getting into. Strange; most adolescents would probably have a minor stroke if they were told that they were being saddled with a baby - Megg had most certainly been more than a little alarmed.
Well, that just meant that this was an odd kid. Whatever then - it wasn't his problem. "Hey, whatever kid. Get 'em from wherever you want." He really didn't care about WHERE he got the supplies - he was just making sure that the brat got them.
"It's not mine." the redheaded mage said with a shrug in response to the comment on the basement. "I think it's cliche." But then again, Zak was all about the cliches - the man was the proud owner of a creepy mansion on top of a hill, after all. "Do you have any other questions? Because if you're done, I'm going to send you back. Make it quick if you do."
