(So this is me trying to elaborate more on the plot that we have in motion, fleshing out details, you know. Feel free to add your input and ideas!)
Legends talk about a powerful sorceress by the name of Izunala, who was blessed by the gods themselves with the gift of magic and insight to the world around her. Upon receiving this gift she saw that man was indeed a wicked and beastly creature. Greed, lust, hatred, they were all so animalistic and savage. So she sought out to show mankind just what sort of horrid creatures they were. She fashioned together an amulet to amplify her power. With the amulet she was able to change those she targeted. They would become deformed, feral and beast like, and most importantly, obedient to her whim. She used her newly made creatures to gain more and more power over mankind, transforming any who stood in her way.
Until one day a hero arose, chosen by the same gods who had given Izunala her power. He challenged the great sorceress, and Izunala, arrogant in her own skill, accepted. She underestimated the boy and was outdone and was sealed away within the amulet she had used to harm so many lives.
The amulet was sealed away in the hero's tomb upon his death, with the hopes that it would never see the light of day again.
But guess who got her crazy little hands on it.~
This was just something I came up with. It still goes with the whole "Take people and use them in our show" scheme..just..mystifies it a bit. :3
