'Get down here would you!' Arachne stretched up amongst the branches of a tree, poked by twigs as she did so. Her Skitters danced back along the branch it was on, waving his legs and doing a 'can't catch me dance'.

She was highly regretting having ventured out at all, but the fly jar was empty and her Skitter had made it clear in no uncertain terms that he was hungry and they had to leave the dorm.

She tried gentle pleading instead;
'Please, please come down, you know we're near the monster dorm.'

And indeed they were, for it was a good place for all sorts of creepy crawlies and had been the one place her tricky Skitters had wanted to go. The ghoul looked around, seeing if there was anyone nearby to witness her making a spectacle of herself.

Sepheran shifted himself on his bed putting his feet on the floor. He yawned lightly slightly bored. There had been no classes today and he began to wonder what to do, the school was still fairly new but at least he knew his way around now...but maybe there were new places to explore that he didn't know.

Liannan hissed softly into his ear making Sepheran nod gently. "A walk? That sounds like a lovely idea~" Sepheran said in response to the white snake riding upon his shoulders. Liannan was always so useful to have around, useful quite a lot for she helped him see his way around since Sepheran lacked much of his eyesight only able to make out blurry objects at best when he opened his eyes. Most of the time, like at this point, Sepheran kept his eyes closed letting Liannan guide him around.

Getting up he set for the door heading out of his room and then out of the Monster dorms. As he left though a voice resounded in his sensitive ears calling out to a skitter, from the sound it was a ghoul. Turning his attention towards this voice he began to head over wondering if she needed some help with something, Sephy was the type who liked to help others in need after all.

Coming upon the sight he saw, or well Liannan explained the situation. It seemed the ghoul was trying to call her Skitter down. Tilting his head slightly he made his way over. "Do you need some help?" the Basilisk asked head turned in her direction but obviously not looking straight at her.

Arachne had turned around and was looking up into the tree again, an arm snaked around a branch as she pulled herself up a little so that she could see the wayward pet.

'So help me, you'll be living on dust for a month!' she grumbled, and then let out a noise of suprise at the voice from behind her, slipping and catching her sleeves on the tree, ripping it in the process. She turned to glare at the boil, figuring he was a monster but slightly startled at his elegant appearance.

'Jack damn it. I'm fine, or I was.' she held up the tattered sleeve.

'Speak or something before you approach someone!'
She was more annoyed about being in this situation in the first place than her torn sleeve, that had just added to it.

Sepheran tilted his head slightly, "Ah forgive me, I didn't mean to startle you," Sepheran replied moving closer in the off chance that she might slip again and fall. "I have some thread and a needle in my dorm room if you want to borrow it for your sleeve later...I think that climbing higher will be dangerous though...here...let's try this first," Sepheran said pausing for a moment as he fished out a small bag then pulling out a small handful of crickets lifting his hand high to entice the Skitter to come down.

"I always carry around food for Liannan, she doesn't mind sharing though do you Liannan?" Sepheran asked head turning to his snake for a moment who hissed softly before butting her head gently against Sepheran's chin shifting her gaze to Arachne and nodding ever so slightly.

Sepheran smiled softly before turning his head back towards the tree wondering if the Skitter was going to come down, after all it would be so much easier then having to climb up. "Want to try calling him again?" Sephy asked.

'It's fine.' Arachne replied, grudgingly accepting his apology. She was mollified by his manners more than anything, still highly aware of what he was.

'Uh, it's fine, I can have it mended another time.' she said hurriedly; beyond the fact that he was a monster, she'd never been inside a boils room and the mere thought of it made her pale cheeks flush scarlet. She looked from the crickets, to the serpent on his shoulders and up to her Skitters, who, with a distinctly smug swagger to his stride, let out a line from his spinnerets and dangled down from the tree to land on Arachne's shoulder.

He scuttled along her arm, and tapped her on the back of her gloved hand with a leg. She raised her arm, rolling her eyes at the same time and touched her hand to the underside of Sepheran's, allowing her Skitter to snag a cricket. He wound it swiftly in silk and then dragged it back along her arm, taking himself to perch on her shoulder again.

'Thank you.' she said quietly to Sepheran, inwardly fuming at her wayward pet. He had so done this on purpose, she just knew it.

Sepheran smiled gently, ”I see, well as long as your able to get it fixed then,” he stated coolly glad she would be able to fix it herself later. It meant that the rip wasn’t that big nor was it something that needed to be tended to at once.

Even though Liannan warned him he couldn’t help but give a small twitch when he felt her gloved hand touch his then the tingly sensation of the Skitter as he snatched a cricket. He chuckled softly, ”Quite a lively one, I bet you have all sorts of fun troubles with him,” Sepheran replied as the sensation soon left.

Hearing her small thanks he shook his head lightly, ”Ah, it was no trouble at all really, it was my pleasure to help such a lovely ghoul such as yourself,” Sepheran added. ”My name is Sepheran by the way…might I be so honored to get your name miss?” He asked curiously.

It was a fairly big rip, and she wondered if Elizabeth would mend it for her..the thought of allowing the boil close enough to mend it and stay that way for however long it would take was just, well it was easier to go around with the rip to be honest.

'Just trouble.' she replied, shooting her Skitter a sideways look, he waved a leg and then went back to his meal. She let the smallest of sighs leave her lips and looked at the boil again.

'Uhh, thanks.'
Arachne's cheeks coloured again at the compliment, she was unused to those still and they always seemed to catch her off guard.

'Arachne.'
She said her name, well, the name she chose to give, and wondered if Sepheran was his true name. Of course monsters had little to worry about there, although she was still finding it hard to believe that he was one, but what else was he doing near the monster dorm..well, she was as well, but there was a reason for that.

'So.' she said, at a loss now, wondering if she could just extract herself from the situation without making a bigger fool of herself. Of course she could stay and talk to the boil but why would he want that? And should she talk with him? He seemed nice enough though and she was tiring of her self-imposed seclusion.
'Uh, you were heading somewhere in particular?'

Sepheran couldn't help but give a light chuckle, "But I suppose that's what makes them so interesting to have around," he replied moving his hand to lightly pet Liannan's head. Liannan hissed softly like a purr as she was petted. "They keep you on your toes," he added nodding softly.

When she thanked him he waved it off, "Ah, no thanks necessary I merely say the truth," Sepheran added smiling when she gave her name. His mind paused for a moment however and odd feeling that he had heard that name somewhere before...ah well maybe it would come back to him eventually.

With everything situated with her now Sepheran was about to excuse himself when he heard her ask about where he was heading. "I was going to take a walk around the school actually. I'm still fairly new to the place so I was thinking of trying to find places I hadn't been to yet and check them out. So I guess I wasn't really heading anywhere in particular, just wherever Liannan here leads me," Sephy stated motioning to the white snake who flicked her tongue out a few times in response.

'I guess you're right.' Arachne conceded. Her Skitters was her truest friend so far, although like friends he dabbled in well-meaning meddling.

'Yes? I think you might be slightly off the mark this time though.' she said, she was still unable to accept that she was anything beyond the ordinary for a demon ghoul, and not striking in any way.

'Oh.' she fell quiet again, not wanting to be presumptious, and not sure if she should stay longer in the company of a monster but she'd already decided to attempt to be more sociable and so she forged ahead anyway.

'Did you want company?' she asked tentatively, her eyes flickering to the snake on his shoulders, wondering why his companion led him about.

Sepheran tilted his head slightly a moment before giving a soft smile, "I wouldn't mind the company if you are willing to come with me, the more the merrier," Sepheran replied. "Do you know of any good places around here?" Sepheran questioned lightly.

Liannan turned her head to Arachne seeing the other eye her. She flicked her tongue out a few times before slithering around Sepheran's neck once more moving to his other ear this time.

Sepheran chuckled slightly, "Were you staring at her?" the basilisk questioned. "She can get a bit shy sometimes," he smiled moving his hand to pat her gently again. "She was given to me when I was just a baby. My eyesight has always been very bad so I've relied heavily on her guidance, at least I will until I can get a handle on using all my senses together. She's taken care of me since, she's a true friend," Sepheran stated Liannan stopping a moment to look up at him before nuzzling his chin affectionately.

Arachne smiled at the boil, relieved that he hadn't brushed her off, her face lighting up with the expression.

'Not really, I tend to just walk to the places I need to go, I spend a great deal of time in my dorm room if not in lessons.'

Well, now he knew she was a loner, that was a good way to make friends..if that was what she was doing, she supposed it was as she could have just thanked him for the food and gone on her way.

'Uhh, I was looking at her.' Arachne confessed.
'I was intrigued about your relationship with her, but you answered my questions before I had a chance to ask them.' she gave a little chuckle, taking a moment to have another sidelong look at the boil from under her lashes.
She wondered how he found life with his restricted vision. She couldn't imagine not being able to have full use of her sense of sight, mostly because she relied on it so much.

Sepheran smiled softly, "Well if you have any other questions you want to ask me you can feel free to. I don't mind, I'm used it them," Sepheran replied used to people questioning about his blindness and such. It had bothered him at first when he was young, but he got used to such things so it no longer bugged him to answer questions anymore. After all, it meant they were curious about him.

"Now then, how about we go where our feet and Liannan guide us?" Sepheran questioned as he began to walk slowly enough so that Arachne could follow along beside him. "I'll answer questions as we walk," he added glad to have someone to talk to for a while.

'Okay.' Arachne said, allowing him to set the pace, looking at him sidelong as they walked.

'Can I ask what you are first of all? I know you're a monster..' she said the word with no hint of her usual distaste because he was so unlike how she thought they should be.

'I suppose you know I'm a Demon.' she added, wondering if he had any particular thoughts towards her kind, as she did for monsters.

Sepheran tilted his head slightly, "Me? I'm a Basilisk," he replied wondering if it wasn't obvious already. Well he supposed not everyone has seen a Basilisk before...especially since most die when they meet one.

When she mentioned her being a demon he chuckled, "Yeah I figured from Liannan's description of you, course with my lack of vision I don't tend to care for labels. I see people for who they are not what they are, I suppose that makes me a little weird," Sepheran chuckled lightly. "When you lose your sight though you see things differently then most...do you think that makes me weird?" Sepheran questioned.

There was also the fact that he was boil shaped. Arachne had heard of basiliks, and knew their power lay in the eyes. She wondered how frustrating that made him - but he would also be far more dangerous to be around and she wouldn't be walking so casually with him if he wasn't half-blind.

'I don't. I am afraid I have been guilty of being judgmental to some. I could excuse myself in saying that it's part of being a Demoness, but I think there's more than that. I like being suprised though. You've surprised me.' she smiled at him and a little to herself.

'May I ask, how much can you see?' she stopped for a moment and turned to look at him.
'Can you see my face?' she patted the cheek with the tiny heart mark.
