I wouldn't say that school is wasting my time, since if theres no school I would be so bored at home and could not take college. But I agree that school gives us a lot of work, we might think that they give us more than accepted. There was this one time that in school I had a lots projects that had to be done in one day, it was like hell. And When I was in grade school, i always imagined I had this button, that when I press it, I would have instant vacation, A plane would pop out of nowhere and will get me and take me to paradise. But I should stop dreaming. Right now, My school will end in a few weeks, a lot of people slack off because they just want summer already. But now I don't imagine that button anymore because whatever I'll do, Summer will always come.

It's a necessary thing really...I like learning personally.
Plus, if you had nothing but free time constantly...most people become bored and start feeling like there is nothing coming from their live or something like that.

Alykia It's a necessary thing really...I like learning personally. Plus, if you had nothing but free time constantly...most people become bored and start feeling like there is nothing coming from their live or something like that. Agreed. Im moving this to the School Subform!

Ahaha, UnoriginalSin I was about to ask that myself!!
school is....ehh, it's okay! Learning is neccesary and can even be fun. And classroom education is really only half of the learning you're doing. We learn how to be sociable, to fit in, to operate around other people....I think it's more good than it is bad, although yes, homework and college/uni/scholarship apps are killing me right now!!

I don't think its a waste of time in general, but some of the required classes are...I mean like what does history have to do with my major? Just trying to suck money out of our pockets for these core requirement courses that most people don't need in their lifetime xP

sometimes it does ... especially when you get pissed by the 'big people' in school but they dont even get high grades ... stressed

I don't think school itself sucks. It's more the bad teachers and subjects you don't really want but have to take that make it so annoying.
