... or the lack of a bg...
I have NO idea what it should be, sigh. I probably should have tought of that earlier, before I started, but this was suposed to be just a time passer for while I was sick, not a full time thing DX

ANYWAY I kind of set it aside for a whilte, but I've decided to maybe look at it again, I just need some bg ideas. Help?

P.s - I don't normally draw digitally, so sorry for the shoddy quality.

What I already know I need to do -
-... finish...
- fix stifness of hair
- bg

Maybe a simple reddish color behind the character? That might really serve to bring him out. c:

I really like the idea of red in the background. It will complement the green nicely. Really nice job with it so far.

I agree with the red background, that'll go great. maybe even a little bit of yellow towards to edge or something as well?

lol me too... if i wer gnna do the valley id put color the background blue and maybe add a cloud or two haha
