Nicknames: Dr. Pickles MD, Private Pickles, Inspector Pickles, Officer Pickles, Chef Pickles, and a variety of other titles depending on what hat he's wearing.
Gender: Male
Age: 14
Faction/Race Reaper (Sorcerer)
Personality: The opposite of helpful. If there's a corny joke that can be squeezed out of a situation, you can bet he's on top of it. He likes mimicking others, visual puns, and slapstick. Plucky, cheeky, and cartoonish. He likes making friends, and has little regard for personal space. The world is his playground, and everything is there to be touched, changed, and tampered with. Very curious. Has a good sense of humor about himself, and often places himself at the butt of the joke. Above all, he is a catalyst for mayhem and absurdity, and an anarchist at heart. His jokes are mostly puns and parodies, but they can steer to the dark/morbid/adult. Halloweeners in positions of authority (doctors, scientists, mayors, bogeymen, etc.) are his favorite targets. It is a bad idea to give Pickles a task you don't want to result in shenanigans. Especially driving.
He is a character clown, and dons different hats/costumes to suit his situation (ie, a doctor, a rodeo clown, a jockey, a police officer). For this reason, he is almost never without his Sorcerer Hat and Robe (in some form or another). They turn into different hats/coats when turned inside-out. Sometimes he will have to turn them inside-out a few times to get the appropriate costume. Their default appearance is a pointy hat and robe, with lots of stars/sparkles/colors/patterns. Outside of Halloween (where Pickles's Fear is weak or his Natural Ability is restrained) they look like a dusty grey coat and old bowler cap, and stay that way.
He enchants his various gag objects with irritating magic. He makes sure his shoes are enchanted to be extra squeaky, his banana peels extra slippery, and his pockets extra deep. Misfortune seems to follow him (and those around him), by way of accidents, falling objects, and general clumsiness.
Weapon: Buzz the Chainsaw.
Description: A red chainsaw with angry, cartoon eyes and a sharp, manic grin (similar to Bullet Bill). The chainsaw blade is approximately the position of his "nose". It can not talk, but is able to "growl" (similar to the being revved noise) and snicker/laugh (by rattling its chain).
While turned off, Buzz is used for spell-casting. It can scratch runes into objects, which glow and fade as the FEAR is used up. A person watching Pickles and Buzz work, however, would see less of a careful, miniscule process and more a fast, hectic, chainsaw-wielding version of Fury Swipes. The runes look like the bleeps used to indicate swearing in comic bubbles (Maledicta, or Grawlixes). Includes symbols like stars, angry scribbles, storm clouds, swirls, keyboard characters, large exclamation points, skulls, etc.
What's so scary about clowns? Whether you're an outright Coulrophobic or a Batman fan, there's a long-standing tradition for this sort of thing. While other Halloweeners might find him merely annoying (especially his perky demeanor and outlandish jokes) his alignment is squarely Chaotic-Evil. It's all fun and games until he takes out the chainsaw. ...Well, I guess that's fun and games too.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Interested primarily in magic + offensive. And free food. And making friends!!
FEAR:
Y1 - (Battle Cry) Chain Scream Turn On: His chainsaw turns on. Unfortunately, he can't control it, and Buzz just rampages around for five seconds before running out of juice.
Natural Ability: • Enchanting: Sorcerers/sorceress's are awful at casting spells. Instead, they excel at being able to put spells into objects. These objects can cast the spell for them: ie, a Sorcerer/ess can enchant a fireball spell into a stick. Providing that the stick doesn't catch on fire, the Sorcerer/ess now has a wand that can shoot fireballs... Until the spell runs out, that is.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: Black
Hair Colour/Style: Bright blue, messy
Skin Colour: Pale
Clothing Style/Colours: Black and white-striped shirt, yellow suspenders/socks, various "flair" pins (including his skull pin). Jean capris, light purple ascot/scarf with white/blue/pink stars, swirls, spots, and things on it, white gloves, red floppy/oversized converse shoes. Essentially, a teenage/scene halloween clown.
Optional: Sorceror Hat/Robe. Their default appearance is a pointy hat and robe, with lots of stars/sparkles/colors/patterns. (grawlixes? @#$!% etc. ?)
Extra: Clown paint and nose

wahmbulance wahmbulance wahmbulance  Minipets:  Drippy Deer, a faithful friend and in his own mind, an avant-garde arteest. He wears a beret, has a drawn-on mustache and carefully deliberates over wobbly, nonsensical scribbles. He leaves graffiti everywhere, using his tail as a brush. Never uses color, only drawing in black ink. Goldfin Purr, A fish that sticks! Goldie is a smart and classy lady, and an occasional muse to Drippy, although she would never stoop to romance with him. Has a fondness for weapons (or anything that can be construed as one), and sleeps on a pile of various sharp, pointy, or dangerous objects (like letter openers). This feline fatale is very happy in the Reaper dorms. Giggles, a fish wish that Pickles colored at Floresctival using every crayon in the supplied crayon box! Pickles sure does like clownfish. Unfortunately, it came to life and is completely evil. Ringleader Cat (to keep an eye on him) SE idea: Balloon Animals. (to be given out IC!)

Sup Toshi face.
Firstly, I enjoys Pickles the clown. I do not however enjoys pickles. They are gross. ANYWAY.
I don't see much of his personality clashing but I am wondering at how Pickles would react when having to be stuck in settings where he is limited by authority figures such as classrooms. Or if for his own safety if he knew it or not. How might he view TA's, those who don't really have the same authority teachers do? When/if faced with punishment, how does he react?
And while he may not have a natural form, does he have a form/outfit made to just cause pure FEAR? Even to those not afraid of clowns?
Personality wise, I just realized it might help to expound on where he places authority, and how friends/enemies/apprentices factor into his thoughts with pranks and if he takes them 'too far' how he might try to amend. Personality does go a lot into his practical jokes, but not really him beyond that. Outside of jokes and pranking how does pickles really interact with students?

Pickles in the Classroom: (with a TA or Teacher) He's the class clown, of course! He likes the attention and spotlight, whether it's positive (laughter) or negative (reprimanding). He is earnest, so if punished he will make the attempt to comply with the disciplinary action, but often in a silly way that either misses the point of the task, or causes a larger problem. As for life or death situations...in Pickles's mind, death is one of life's biggest jokes. Pickles is not a creature designed towards survival, and would make a funny fatal decision over a serious life-saving one. His number one priority is having fun, making a few laughs, and creating a little absurdity. Pure Fear: ...This is his Y1 design, so for now he's a pretty cute preteen scene clown. There are some more Halloweenish elements to his costume (the black and white stripes, ripped jean bottoms, skull pin ... chainsaw) but even normal, bright, happy clowns strike terror into the hearts of people. His design will definitely become more exaggerated as he grows older, but whether that goes into more of a beautiful Jester/Pierrot, or just a bigger Auguste sort of costume, or an outright Halloween Clown with sharp teeth and dirty clothes, I'm not sure yet. It is a shame he doesn't have a clown natural form! Pickles is a Sorceror by species, so he has to get up and put on his face in the morning. Without his clothes and make up, he's a normal-looking brown-eyed, brown-haired kid. Joking Aside: He's mostly mischievous, but a sweetheart. Emotional, exaggerated. He loves big, cries big, laughs big. When he's scared, he's SCARED. When he's nervous, his knees knock and wobble and he'll sweat/pace. He wants to help and be involved in everything, even though he will inevitable do things the wrong way. He's not a smug bugs bunny type of prankster (or more of a whiteface clown), he's an Auguste. I'll quote a thing on his clown type here: Quote: The most comical of all clowns. He/she is impish, gregarious and thrives on slapstick. His/her actions are big, clumsy and awkward. His/her personality is that of a rabble rouser. When appearing with the Whiteface, the Auguste (German meaning "foolish") is the brunt of the joke. However, with the Tramp, he becomes the instigator in control of the situation. He's pretty straight-forward in terms of reactions. Angry is fists whirling and ready for action, in love is picking flowers and swooning with a choir playing in his head. Things that are sad make him sad, but in a more cartoonish blubbering overacting way then a poignant, contemplative way. As the character develops, maybe he'll have some quieter moments too.
