I never saw Origins as a hard game, it was alittle difficult to get used to the battle and controls but after few battles and manuevering it was quite simple. Although the demo for 2 did show better options to choose from.

Well, I always played DA in normal mode, but for bigger battles or "boss" battles i'd switch to casual mode... so hopefully DA2 will be better.

I didn't find Origins that hard to begin with, what exactly does that mean, easier dungeons, easier combat? They don't really state much info for me
Only issues I had was when the game would glitch out

I think it's more dealing with the random encounters where fifty million wolves pop out to maul you to death, or the one with the fifty million shades, or... yeah. The spider one I didn't mind so much... I've found that the more afraid of spiders you are, the more likely the giant ones are to kill you. Thus, I simply overcame my fear beforehand by allowing a tarantula to crawl around on my face for a few minutes shy of an hour. It was a bit unsettling. ... Of course, apparently, that site thinkgeek.com sells baked tarantulas for consumption. If the thought of having a live one crawling around on your face is too much to bear, why not conquer your fear by eating a lightly spiced dead one?... Be sure to remove the fangs beforehand. Nasty little things.

In general I didn't think Origins was too hard but I only played on normal...I'm not quite sure how the harder difficulties were. Hmm I always thought Origin was pretty fair, I wanted them to keep it at that level. Oh well...I guess we will find out how DA2 is.

Well this is interesting news. I actually figured from the demo Dragon Age 2 would be harder than Origins. True, I didn't find Origins that hard to begin with but you get what I'm saying..I think. lol. Well I'll have to see when I get the actual game.

Yeah. Easier. I'm playing on casual and I can't do one quest that requires fighting many qunari fighters and few saarebas (qunari mages)... It's too hard even on a casual mode.

Well what you need is the selection of free items you can get, that helps from time to time and also using the exp and money glitch comes in handy as well since you do it till you get to level 50 and the trees that you can max out are insane i think out of all the trees you get if you auto level it all there is one or two trees you can't max out including one of the spec trees.
