With the whole CRTC thing going on, our attention was brought to a law that the government had attempted to pass. This is a law that enforces that news broadcasters are not allowed to give any false or misleading news to the people. I never new we had this... and I can't believe how happy I am to know it's there.
With this law being threatened originally by our OH SO WONDERFUL Prime Minister, plans for Fox News to put stations in Canada were underway; a station called 'Fox News North'.
Just this week, the CRTC rejected the proposal, which means we won't be seeing Fox anytime soon... at least... not a station... we still have Fox on TV. haha.
