Hello everyone! First off I'd like to introduce myself since I haven't really gotten a chance to do so in this guild. I'm a mellow good humored person and I love to draw! I recently came back to Gaia after being gone for a long while but I came back for the specific reason to just draw avatars since it keeps my creative juices flowing blaugh and also I returned to chat with other artists. 3nodding Anyways boring stuff aside I recently started coloring my drawings in MS paint so I'm quite new to the whole using a mouse to draw/color. I played around quite a bit with it so far and I have colored two of my drawings. This is the second one and all I'm looking for really is maybe some constructive criticism or some advice as to what I should do differently from someone who is maybe more familiar with coloring on a pc. I'll also be posting my other art works here for anyone interested in checking them out and I'd appreciate comments or feedback on them. Thanks! Other then that feel free to have discussions and chat away! I'm interested to get to know the artists in this guild. smile

You drew that on MS paint? with a mouse? Holly crap, thats epic! I suck at using a mouse, that's why I'm trying to save up for a tablet and only do traditional art right now. That's really good, awesome art!

That's really good, awesome art! rofl Thank you! Glad you like it. Actually though I drew it with a pencil really quickly and then colored it on MS Paint. 3nodding That way I had the guideline there for me when I was coloring. It was actually quite a process lol here is the drawing from my sketchbook. Then I inked it to make it brighter for when I color it like so.

Yeah, I've done that with photoshop a couple of times, It's easier on photoshop that with MS paint, cuz MS paint is screwed up and the bucket of paint tool doesn't work right. =P On photshop it works better, but not every one has photoshop so you get points for using MS paint. XD

It might be weird looking at a screen as you draw instead of looking down...I don't know I think it would take some real getting use to.

Well, from what I understand if you get the right type of tablet you can just set it in your lap like a pad of paper if it has a touch screen. That is the kind I want. but I'm still investigating different types of tablets, so I'm not 100% sure on what they can and can't do.

I'd love to have one and I also have to get photoshop aswell, the whole seperate layers thing makes drawing so much easier. blaugh

I wouldn't be able to sketch things out like I normally do and it would just look horrible xd
