- A LOOK AT THE WORLD- - INTO THE WILD- Eastern Forge: Green rolling hills and tall grass fields as far as they eye can see on every horizon. The western forge is vast, it is full of small villages and dotted with agricultural towns, much of the food in all of Tel Hai is grown in this region which is comparable to the size of the entirety of Central America. Black Pine: This massive forest is a dark and foreboding place filled with many dangers. it separates the wastes from the rest of Tel Hai, because of this it is rumored to hide a hidden city, that is supposed to be a collection of all the outcasts of society. It boarders the city of Marya, and though it is close those that live in Marya never venture very far in the woods for fear of being killed. Dark Water Lake: Dark water is the largest body of fresh water in Tel Hai, bordering the Spire Mountain Range, Eastern Forge, Black Pine, and Great Marsh it is a interesting place to visit. Under the surface of is a world of fresh water fish, but if also houses larger more dangerous creatures under its surface. The Wastes: A region the size Egypt that is mostly desert, not many creatures are capable of living in this harsh environment. The most common creatures are Elephant Turtles, Hyena bats, and Great Spider Snakes. There is a tribe of nomads who have tamed elephant turtles, and carved their villages into the huge spikes on top of the turtles shell, they provide protection for the turtle from small animals while the turtle provides them shelter from the large beasts of the wastes. This is where the Turtle King resides, atop his back is the nomadic metropolis city of Burn. Spire Mountain Range: The mountains are home to many different creatures including the Skry, they tower above Tel hai and can be seen from as far away as Soren City. They house thousands of caves full of Lithos that are mined almost constantly by the order of both criminal organizations and by the nobles. Great Marsh: Great Marsh is a region of lakes and marshlands about the size of Florida, it is located in central Tel Hai South of Dark Water Lake and east of Illium. This region is dotted with small fishing communities and hunting camps, it is very common for a deep bog it cover this region making it ideal for those who don't want to be found. Tale Wood: The woods of Tale are a large forest located north of Arthos, unlike dark pine the woods are hardly dangerous, over all it is a peaceful wood. It does border the silver forest however and because silverwood trees are so aggressive in their growth there is a large wall erected between them that is closely guarded in an attempt to protect the forest The Silver Forest: The silver forest is located at the furthest north-western region of Tel Hai, though this forest was at one point mostly normal trees it has become overgrown with silverwood trees. For a long time the Haim government thought they could control the growth of the forest, so they started to erect an eighty foot wall in some areas. After royal scientists equated that they wouldn't be able to control the growth of the trees the project was abandoned leaving the wall erected in some areas. To help control the growth the royal family has offered incentives to expert lumberjacks known as silverjacks, they enter the forest wearing special protective gear and cut down and up root any silver saplings they come across. Mt. Mourn: This dark mountain spires over the land of Tel Hai, it is nearly twice the height of mount Everest and three times the circumference. Thousands of small caves and grottoes that dot the mountains are filled with hives of Skry. Many strange things happen on this mountain and some say it is the only truly magical thing left in Tel Hai. - THE GREATISLES- Ohm: the isle of Ohm is located just off of the tip of tel hai in the syren sea, it is a small enough island that it could not support a major city yet large enough to hold a few small fishing villages. Because it is located between both the syren and kalar sea a region known to have very active it is not somewhere a large city would thrive, most of the villages are used as docks and ports for the deep sea fishermen of kalar. Sil: Sil is the eastern most known mass of land in all of Tel Hai, it sits on the cliffs that on water form the fringe. It is owned and closely patrolled by the Royal Guard, it is said that the Royal family has a private estate there. Not many Haim who venture there without permission ever return, it is said that the isle itself may be haunted. Kol: before the ascension the isle of Kol housed the royal city of Moor, it is a beautiful island located just south of Mal, east of the Almos Sea. It is the second largest island, on its interior there are many caves filled with lithos. Mal: The isle of Mal is the largest island in all of Tel Hai, its jungles are filled with wild creatures. The south portion of the island is cultivated and used for farmland, with thousands of green houses and crops it produces enough food for the cities of Kar and Moor. Just before the Ascension a great wall was built around most of the island, this was is one of the reasons why the island of Mal is one of the last refuges in all of Tel Hai. - THE THREE SEAS- Kalar Sea: The Sea of Kalar is the largest, deepest, and most active sea when it comes to storms. It stretches from the Silverwood forest all the way to the Isle called Ohm. Under its waters are the homes of the largest and most feared sea creatures including the Kalidar which is a Giant Spidersnake said to be able to swallow vessels whole. Kalar sea is home to the most variety of deep sea fish, and because of this even though it is dangerous many vessels choose to fish here. Syren Sea: the sea of Syren is comparable to the indian ocean, its warm waters house many grand reefs that provide shelter for billions of small marine life. Though the center of the ocean is can its border that meets kalar is known for almost constant bad weather. Almos Sea: the sea of almos is the most eastern sea in tel hai, its waters are calm and warm often shallow it hides many small islands. Because of the warm waters there are an abundance of tropical fish in this region, though few are poisonous nearly all are bright and colorful. The beaches of almos are one of the most popular and scenic places in all of tel hai, in some areas thousands of lithos will wash ashore giving the beaches dazzling appearances. The Fringe: To the Haim the fringe seems like the edge of the world, it is the thin crest of land that holds in the vast seas of Tel Hai. In actuality the fringe is rim of the crater that tel hai is located in, this rim only ascends about six feet above sea level, because of this waves often crash over the rim splashing water to the cloudy abyss below. - THE CORRUPTED CITIES- Arthros: Arthros is located on the western shore of the white bay, it is the second largest city in all of Tel Hai but is third when it comes to actual population rivaling its brother city aerkos. Before the ascension the white towers of Arthros were renowned, but during the riots that followed the event they were burned and turned black, they are now known as the obsidian towers which is used now as a head quarters for one of the most nefarious organized crime organizations "Black Fox". Though it has dulled down, all Athrosians are rivals of the Aerkosians of Aerkos which is on the eastern shore of the white bay. They are almost constantly sending and defending from raiding parties as each of the two cities continues the fight for the control of white bay. Aerkos: Aerkos is the second largest city in Tel Hai when it comes to population. Because of it's location near the Pholl hills it has exclusive access to many caves that are used to harvest lithos. This resource has made it a valuable asset, this asset drew one of the largest criminal organization to it known as the "White Fang". Aerkosians are always trying to gain control over white bay, because of this they are constantly involved with small skirmishes with Arthros. Ilium: Ilium is located on a thin strip of dry land between Great Marsh and the River country of Tide, it is a medium sized city but has one of the largest smuggling rings in all of Tel Hai. They mostly smuggle Lithos from the mountains, but they will fence almost any stolen goods. The Organization has no official name, but commonly it is known as The Ring. Though not many people come here because of the hard journey either across Great marsh or the long trek through the forests of River Country Ilium has a large hold on trade. This makes it the home of many thieves and other ruffians that are trying to disappear. Soren City: The City of Soren is the largest on the surface and nearly three times of Skrie, it is a massive metropolis that has a culture of its own. It has no comparison when it comes to the sheer size of this city, it is easily double the size of Arthros and a much larger population. The Entire city fits on the Skoul Peninsula which borders both the Syren and Almos Seas. It is divided into three Districts, CrowHaven, The Spines, and UnderBridge. These districts house most of the population of Tel Hai which is a staggering ten billion people. Just because of the size of the city it is almost impossible for any organization to control, each district has its own organization that has a heavy influence. The Night of Crow Haven, Silence of The Spines, and the most feared Blades of UnderBridge, they are the largest organized criminal organizations in Tel Hai and they Have a hand in almost everything on the surface. Marya: Marya is the smallest city of note in Tel Hai, it is just south of Dark Pine. This walled city is the home of The White Mist, a small ring of thieves and renegades that are often up for hire. The most lucrative enterprise in Marya is scavenging the beaches of Almos and gathering the lithos that wash up on the shore, on any one day nearly a thousand lithos are collected by a single scavenger who then sells them to a Pawners Market or makes them in to small weapons or jewelry. The resource of lithos is replenished at every high tide when millions more lithos wash up on the shore. - THE LAST REFUGES- Ilitha: The city of Ilitha is the fourth largest city in Tel Hai, though it's population rivals that of Arthros. It lays on the northwestern edge of the region known as the Eastern Forge. It is on the shore of a large river that branches out of the Spire Mountains. It is ruled by a governing council of officers, this house is called the Guild. They regulate economic shifts, as well as trade and protection from the other cities. They are focused on the cultivation of new towns for the refugees in the eastern forge. Kar: The City of Kar was once ruled by a Thaddeus Tol Kaster who before the ascension was a high ranking officer in the Royal Army, and a master inventor. When tragedy struck leaving his manor burned to the ground, it was proved that Thaddeus was assassinated by _____ Moore the once crowned prince of Tel Hai. No one knew what the prince was after but this event left Thaddeus' son Adamaeis an orphan. In modern times Kar is ruled by A council of Elders that were advisers to Thaddeus, it relies on the prana powered inventions to keep the Island city safe. A large wall was built by Thaddeus around the island of Mal right before the Ascension, it is regularly patrolled by armed guard, there is only one known entrance onto the isle which is through the Gate called Dragons Mouth. to get into the city of Kar you have to be approved and go through a complex system of background checks, if you fail the background checks you will not be permitted into the city. Moor: The City of moor is located on the Isle of Kol, it was once the capital city of Tel Hai. After the Ascension General Kale Vilar made a pact with Thaddeus Kaster that they would stay behind and protect the people, offering a shelter for the chaos that was sure to follow the event. Kale became the leader of Moor and protected the islands most valued asset which were the caves of Kure, they were filled with precious and rare lithos and if they were not protected then the resource would be bled dry and the caves would be barren. Kale trained an elite Militia which eventually turned into the Rune Knights, they now provide protection for both islands as well as Ilitha in the north. The city of Moor has high walls and is on high ground, it is a nearly impenetrable fortress with many layers.

As Adamaeis walked through the portal into the dimly lit room the Iris of the Gate closed behind him. Before he could realize it, shadowy figures closed barred doors from behind him. He found himself ensnared in a prison cell of silverwood. The portal was moved away from the bars, as it was diamond lithos lit the room like lightbulbs turning on. This revealed a crowd of nearly thrity members of the royal family, excluding the queen and king of course. With ravenous smiles they glared at him. Looking around he was in a cell entirely constructed of silverwood, the bars, ceiling and floor were entirely made of silverwood. The only exception was a small cott and wooden bench. Adamaeis growled in discontentment, looking for the one in charge amongst the crowd. He lifted thed patch from his eye, in essence recording their faces.
One of them stepped forward, he wore a scarlet hood with golden trim. Just before he spoke all of the royality lifted ornate masks to their face as if they were in a masquerade. In some way Adamaeis figured that they wished to conceal themselves from him, but they didn't know that it was already too late. Adamaeis would remember their faces forever, and so his hit list was already formed.
"Adamaeis Royale Kaster, you have been found guilty of the murder of Dantien Adonis Moore. This is a crime of high treason against the crowned family of Moore, for this crime you have been sentenced to life in prison. You will die here, and your inventions are now heirlooms of the royal family. It was a wonder, why we couldn't find you for so long. We copied your secret though, the gates through space will soon be completed. Then we will no longer have to travel on beasts and ships. Tis a pity that your cunning got in the way of your talent, you could have almost been as rich as us with your skill set." Said the man in a cold emotionless tone.
Adamaeis did not reply, but simply adjusted the patch back to cover his eye. He turned and sat on the bench silently as the crowd murmered but after a moment shuffled from the room. This left Adamaeis in eerie silence as he contemplated any means of escape. The room oujtside the cell was barren on all sides, there were no windows and only one door which the people exited from. After the last one had left and the thich metal door had slammed shut, and had been locked the lithos that lit the room a moment before dimmed to a dull glow leaving the glowing silverwood as the only source of light in the room.

Dontesse looked down on the royal family’s secret prison. He sighed, already knowing this was going to be a very long day. His family already had it out for him, or at least for his alias, Ersatz Forsworn. “So many things to do today,” Dontesse muttered to himself before spinning the steering wheel of his skyship. The Shadewing dived towards the prison while Dontesse roared commands to his crew. “Alright, boys, weapons ready. We got the royal family to piss off today. It should be a simple smash and grab. We are after Adamaeis Kaster!”
Spinning the wheel, Dontesse turned the Shadewing to nimbly dodge the towers and cannon fire. “Fire back, boys, give them hell!” Dontesse roared, smiling all the while, his golden eyes alit with joy. And why not? After all, he was having the time of his life.
Dontesse handed the wheel over to his helmsman. Then, taking a running leap, he jumped the rail to land on the main deck. After landing lightly, Dontesse turned to one of his gunners. “Make me a door, Averis,” he said before turning to the raiding party. “Weapons ready, boys, make every hit count!” Dontesse yelled over the explosion as Averis fired the cannon.
The room that housed Adamaeis’s cell was suddenly rocked as a blast tore a hole in the eastern wall, the harsh light filtering in through the smoke, dust and debris. As the smoke cleared slowly, men poured in, their P.E. sabers active as they rushed towards the single door, wanting to take the guards by surprise. A man rushed over to the cell door. He wore a armored bronze vest over what seemed to be a very fine Victorian style black silk shirt. His black leather pants were held up by crossing belts with bronze buckles; the belts also held two pouches. He wore armored shin guards that ended in armor plated boots. He had a strange design with four points, one above and three below his left eye. His piercing golden eyes seemed to smile at Adamaeis. He wore two rings on his left hand, one a solid onyx on his middle finger, the other a solid diamond on his ring finger.
“Hello Adamaeis, I am Ersatz Forsworn. I am sure you have heard rumors of me, but now is not the time to talk of such things. Let’s make good our escape first, shall we? Do stand back, if you please,” Dontesse said, smirking as he pointed something that Adamaeis would find strangely familiar at the lock on the cell door. Dontesse pulled Judgment’s trigger and a burst of prana energy from a ruby was shot out. When it clashed with the lock, there was a small explosion. When the smoke cleared, the lock was gone. Dontesse threw open the cell door. “Come, we don’t have much time, my friend.”
As if speaking of the devil, the sound of battle could be heard outside the room in the hall. Turning from Adamaeis, Dontesse smiled. “Looks like they were faster than I thought. Get aboard the Shadewing, and we will be along shortly!” With that, Dontesse rushed to the aid of his raiding crew, drawing a katar-like weapon in his left hand as he went, onyx ring locked in place at its handle, activating the prana energy field.

Adamaeis simply sat and watched as the events took place, grinning when a hole appeared in the wall. He didn't know who this could have been, but he didn't complain. As the roguish man dashed through the breach, Adamaeis recognized him from the wanted posters that were posted in every major city. This man that stood beforfe him was one of the four sky pirate Lords, he wasn't exactly what Adamaeis had expected but it wasn't the time to ask questions. When Ersatz introduced himself Adamaeis gave a short bow in response, by this time he was standing close to the silverwood bars. When he pulled out judgement however Adamaeis's eyes opened as if he had just seen a ghost, his mouth gaped open and his heart sunk within himself. You see this tool had been what Dantien was after, in short it was thed reason his family was killed. He never truly though it would see it again, backing away from the door as he was told he marveled to see the lock be blown clean off. As it swung open he didn't wait for this man to tell him what to do.
Adamaeis darted for the breach in the wall not even daring to look back, he realized that this was a rescue mission. If he didn't make it out then all of this would have been pointless. Just as he reached the breach the sky ship called the shadewing rattled into the building. It had been hit by a cannon ball from below, though it didn't suffer damage to the prepulsion systems, they would be in a tight spot if a storm picked up, which was likely on the isle of Ohm.
This shaking caused the ship to drift away from the breach a few feet, Adamaeis was going to fast to stop himself. Moving even more quickly he launched himself from the breach, landing on the main deck of the ship in a tight roll. Once he had his bearings Adamaeis made his way below deck towards the guns, it had been his duty aboard the Sibil and he had gotten preety spot on with his aim.

Dontesse stood amidst the raiding crew he had picked to rescue Adamaeis. They had taken the entire hall. “Alright, everyone, fall back to the Shadewing. We need to get going.” Turning back around to look down the staircase, Dontesse cursed violently. He saw the generals of the royal family’s guard coming up the stairs. “We have overstayed our welcome. The OD Knights are here.”
“Ersatz Forsworn, you and your crew are ordered to drop your weapons and surrender to the Royal Guard. If you, resist we are authorized to use deadly force to apprehend you,” The Onyx Knight called out, his voice echoing up the stairway and into the hallway beyond. His armor was already activated; he was encased in an onyx dark-matter prana energy field. The Diamond Knight, likewise, had his armor activated and was encased in a diamond prana energy field.
Dontesse leveled Judgment at them, a wicked smile playing on his face. They were more than ten yards away. “Come and get me and my crew if you dogs of the Royal Bastards are man enough!” Dontesse yelled at them as he pressed the switch on Judgment that would allow him to fire a much larger blast than the normal shots it fired. It would deplete the lithos greatly but it was worth it. “Get back to the Shadewing now!” he ordered his crew.
Seeing that Dontesse had aimed Judgment, the Diamond Knight moved in front of the Onyx Knight, placing the guards behind them. He lifted his massive shield that was also covered in a diamond prana energy field to block or deflect any attack that Dontesse could fire at them. “We know your tricks, sky pirate!” the Diamond Knight called out.
“Just like I know yours,” Dontesse muttered as he raised his aim to the ceiling ten feet in front of him, pulling the trigger on Judgment and firing three shots in quick succession. The ceiling started to crumble. Then he turned and fired at the walls, collapsing the walls and ceiling blocking the stairway. It wouldn’t stop them but it would at least slow them down long enough so Dontesse could get his crew back to the Shadewing.
Dontesse turned and ran, catching a glimpse of the last of the raiding crew as they rounded the corner and entered the room that Adamaeis had been imprisoned. “We need to move it boys!” Dontesse yelled at them. He knew that some of his crew was wounded. He left none behind, even the dead made it back to the Shadewing.
Rounding the corner into the room Dontesse turned; using the doorframe as support he took aim down the hall. He fired another two large bursts of prana energy from Judgment; the wall was blown apart causing the ceiling to collapse there as well. With that Dontesse turned, noting that all his men were aboard the Shadewing, he himself rushed to join them. Dontesse leapt across the gap between the room and the sky ship. He landed lightly on the deck and roared out orders. “Everyone man to your stations! Get the wounded to the medics and Mikhail; get us the hell out of here!”

By this time Adamaeis was manning one of the four guns on the starboard side, he aimed the large cannon at one of the many sentry posts that was firing at the ship. Lighting the fuse he covered his ears as a cannon ball launched from the cannon and was shot into the tower, in an explosion of fire the tower collapsed onto the prison below. A smirk lit up his face as he loaded the cannon again, and aimed at another tower. Firing again he backed away to watch the cannon ball slam into the top of the tower causing it to ripple like water.
After a moment the sky would darken over the isle as a storm moved in. Lightning crackled, and thunder roared along with the firing of cannons, as Dontesse leaped onto the deck the hustle of crewmen would be heard providing a random rhythm for the symphony of rain the dropped from the heavens. Not an instant later was the sky shop bolting away from the prison, though it would have been likely that the royal guard would pursue them the storm would give them the lead. It may have even halted them long enough for the Shadewing to escape without a trace.
As they cleared the area Adamaeis made his way towards the port side where the breach in the hull was located, He surveyed the area with a number of other crew members seeing how the damage could be patched. The hole was about two feet in diameter wide, just enough to swallow you whole if you weren't careful. After a moment a few crew members brought a thick sheet of metal and blow ruby powered torches to weld a patch on the breach. Adamaeis unsheathed his ruby cane and activated it, he too began to weld the sheet over the hole.

Once the metal plate had been welded over the breach, the crew turned and nodded their thanks to Adamaeis for his actions during the battle. “Lord Adamaeis Royale Kaster, Ersatz Forsworn the Sky Pirate Lord and master of the skyship Shadewing wishes to speak with you in his cabin. Please accompany me there,” a man that was standing on the stairs that led up to the main deck called out.
The man led Adamaeis into the crew quarters and then beyond into quarters for the officers. Adamaeis may have noticed the crew all seemed to be trained in a military fashion and the entire Shadewing was very much like a military vessel. Stopping at the captain’s cabin door, the man gave three sharp knocks and waited for a reply. When it came, the man opened the door and held it for Adamaeis.
Dontesse sat in a ornate red leather chair with overstuffed cushioning behind a well taken care of ornate Black Pine desk. He had the largest of the cabins; after all, he was the captain. There was a large bay style window behind the desk that had what looked like a very comfortable seating area. On the wall to the right of the desk was a curtained off area. Behind the half parted curtains a rather large bed was piled high with cushions. On the wall to the left of the desk were weapons and armor racks as well as a small table with pieces of different components: half put together P.E. Sabers, unfinished flint lock style pistols and other odds and ends. Sitting on the desk close to Dontesse’s right hand was Judgment. Strewn across the desk were detailed plans of weapons, maps, armor, cannons, and skyships. Most not finished but Adamaeis would see this was not just the tinkering of a normal Sky Pirate.
Without looking up from the design he was currently working on, Dontesse dismissed the man with a wave of the hand. The crew member nodded and turned to leave, shutting the door behind him. “Come. Have a seat, please,” Dontesse said, motioning to the chairs on the opposite side of the desk. Finally looking up, Dontesse smiled at Adamaeis. “Well met. I must thank you for helping in the battle to set you free. I was surprised to hear you did. Then again, what else should I expect from you,” Dontesse said, his golden eyes watching for anything Adamaeis would give him, any clue he could use to gain an advantage in the conversation that was about to begin. “I am sure you are wondering why I rescued you. You may ask, but know that it is not you I wish to set free. It is myself. You may think you owe me a great deal, Adamaeis Royale Kaster, but I hope what I have done will pay part of the debt that my family owes you.” With that said, Dontesse placed a hand on Judgment. Lifting it with a practiced hand, he sat back and rested Judgment across his knees.

Adamaeis nodded his head when the man called for him, asking Adamaeis to follow him to the captains quarters. He did so without question, paying close attention the how the vessel was laid out as they walked through it. Adamaeis was surprised to see that crew quarters, they looked identical to those of the royal guard. More than anything, this made Adamaeis suspicious. As they passed through the rest of the ship Adamaeis mentally pointing out a few structural flaws as he passed into the officers quarters. He was mildly impressed, yet at the same time he would have the ship laid out a bit differently. As he came to the captains cabin, his mind grew silent.
As the crewman knocked on the door, a small flashback ran through his head. The sight of his invention slashed through his mind, for some reason this pirate lord was in possession of it. Adamaeis didn't know how or why this man acquired it, but it was certain that he had it for a long time for he was skilled with it. When the door opened Adamaeis reclaimed his thoughts, his gaze peered into the room for a brief moment before he entered.
Walking into the room his gaze shifted back and forth between the rack of weapons and the desk full of plans. This room reminded him of a workshop rather than a cabin, out of all of all of the rooms on this ship Adamaeis liked this one the most. In fact he wouldn't change it at all. Moving to the chair as he was invited to sit Adamaeis looked at the blueprints on the desk recognizing them as some sort of prana cannon. His gaze only stayed on them for a moment before his eyes were drawn to his invention Ersatz called Judgment. It truly was a thing of beauty, it's intricate design intrigued his senses once more. Memories began to flood into his mind, of when he first build it. This invention was to be a gift for his father, one that would protect him from the dangers that he faced so often. For a moment he sat there in silence waiting until Ersatz finished the calibrations on his current project.
Adamaeis locked his gaze with Ersatz, his expression was calm and collected something hard to read. It was one that read into the details, as Ersatz tried to read him Adamaeis would read Ersatz's slight expression. He saw guilt in the eyes of Ersatz, as well a faint familiarity with him. When Ersatz finally spoke with thanks Adamaeis simply nodded and listen to what he had to say.
It was true, for a moment Adamaeis had wondered why one of the great Pirate Lords wished to rescue him. In fact nothing on this vessel made any sense, the layout, blueprints, crew, it all was rather strange. That is until Dontesse said those final few words. 'My family owes you' to anyone else it could have meant a number of things, but this was the final piece that Adamaeis needed to figure out the true identity of the Pirate Lord. Dontesse Ermes Moore was the second youngest crowned prince of Tel Hai, few could actually prove it but there were rumors that for a long time he acted against the corruption of the royal family, plotting and even stealing from them. It was the only conclusion that Adamaeis came to that was logical.
Adamaeis was about to ask Dontesse how he came to possess his invention when a flashback poured into his mind as if picking a scab in his mind. The memory was of when he was twelve, it must have been the last thing he saw before he was knocked out. He remembered hearing the door to his workshop open, looking to see who it was expecting his father Adamaeis saw a cloaked young man. He drew a Prana energy saber, but before Adamaeis could cry for help, the cloaked man was upon him striking him with the pummel of his saber. He faintly remembered the cloaked man apologizing before taking his invention.
'It all finally makes sense, Dontesse was the cloaked man. He had taken my invention to keep it from Dantien. They must have hated each other afterward, which would explain all of the rumors. This means Ersatz Forsworn... is Dontesse... which means this ship is actually property of the royal fleet. I am sure of it now... but how do I tie into all of this now?' Adamaeis concluded silently, his expression unchanging.
As Dontesse picked up Adamaeis' invention moving it to his lap, his eye narrowed to a intuitive stare.
"Tell me, has my invention served you well all of these years..... Your Majesty?" Adamaeis asked coyly, letting the pirate Lord know that he knew his secret. Adamaeis said this with caution, for he knew that the pirate lords were usually eccentric and often acted out of whim.
"So what happens now.. for what purpose have you set me free... besides what you claim to owe to me?" Adamaeis continued after a brief moment, anything could happen at this point. Though they would need a safe place to rest, and plot of they were going to go against the royal family. The gates were at the forefront of Adamaeis' thoughts, if they stumbled upon their true purpose it could me the spread of corruption to other realms. That thought alone angered Adamaeis, though he refused to show it.

"Kito, come!" A girlish voice cried out in an exacerbated tone moments before a small firefox scampered from beneath Ersatz's bed and jumped into Adamaeis's empty lap. The creature nuzzled its head against Adamaeis's hand, begging attention and affection from the stranger. A woman's head popped up, framed by bedskirts, lips twisting into a childish scowl as she barked harshly at the little thing. "Kito, no! Come here!" Kito turned his head in defiance, snuggling closer to Adamaeis, emitting a comforting warmth from red and silver fur. The woman changed tactics. She stumbled forward on elbows and knees, revealing an unadorned chest, small firm breasts hanging bare beneath her. Her register shifted to an encouraging coo. "Come here, baby, come to mama." Kito looked up at Adamaeis with wide, imploring eyes, as though asking permission, before jumping from the man's lap and scampering back underneath the bed. The woman disappeared with her pet, giggling affectionate praises in lieu of Kito's happy return.

Dontesse was about to respond to Adamaeis when Kito jumped into his lap. Cursing under his breath, Dontesse watched the scene unfold before him. By the end of it, he could not help but smile at Kito and Lilita. Dontesse had a soft spot for the pair and spent most of his time with them. Knowing Adamaeis would have many questions about the both of them, Dontesse tried to act as if nothing had happened so that they could move on to other matters.
“My family owes you a lot, Adamaeis, and I do wish to pay that debt. But my family is in debt to all of Tel Hai, and I need your help to pay that debt. Which I believe is far greater than the debt they owe you,” Dontesse said. There was a hint of laughter in his voice as he watched the bed skirt, wondering if Kito and Lilita would reappear.
Turning his gaze back to Adamaeis, he let all laughter fade from his eyes and voice. “You know who I am. I knew you would realize who I am. As for Judgment, it has served me well and has been the reason I am still alive on more than one occasion.” Standing easily, Dontesse gave Adamaeis a flourished and graceful bow as he announced to Adamaeis who he truly was. “I, Dontesse Eremes Moore, greet you. It is an honor to meet the great detective, Adamaeis Royale Kaster.” Sitting back down, Dontesse gave Adamaeis a smirk that many a man saw before his demise. “We have much to plan if we wish to see the fall of the Moore Empire and order restored to our beloved land of Tel Hai.”

Adamaeis paused for a moment as the strange fox scampered up to him, it was a very affectionate creature. A thin smile curled onto his lips as the little fluff ball nuzzled against him so obvious in need of affection. Adamaeis was to kind to not reply, his fingers playfully scratching the underside of his neck, in reply Kito sent a burst of warmth through his hand, it was something warm and comforting that emitted as this creature sort of purred.
When Lilita emerged from the behind the bed skirts Adamaeis eyes shifted towards the ground. Though it wasn't common in that era Adamaeis was rather old fashioned, and he believed that ladies deserved their respect. The small curious animal retreated towards the bed, and as he did Adamaeis gaze shifted towards his host once again. He listened intently to the words that Dontesse said, each sentence filling Adamaeis with intrigue and excitement.
When Dontesse stood and confirmed his identity Adamaeis bowed in kind, though they were now corrupt the royal family still held some respect in Adamaeis' eyes. What this man suggested would change everything, they would change history and possibly even save the Haim, his beloved people.
Returning to their positions Adamaeis locked his eyes on Dontesse.
"You have peaked my interest Prince, but let me make a suggestion. You see, your family has acquired and replicated something that would prove rather dangerous for all of the Haim. We must get those gates back, at all costs. If we fail we will have more than tel Hai to worry about, the fools don't fully realize what they have done." Adamaeis explained, trying not to go into detail about what they have truly discovered.

Something of importance was afoot. Lilita stood behind the bed, head cocked to one side. Her luminescent tresses swirled to her ankles. They fell over her body like a living shroud. Kito spilled from the cradle of her arms onto the pillows below, kneading them happily under tiny paws. "Perhaps you make use of my service. I am used in many ways by the crew. Ersatz says I am like a tool," she announced proudly. "His name is funny, yes, because he is not real Forsworn? My name is Lilita, like beautiful little flower in Haim tongue. Pleased to make acquaintance. Your world is fairytale to my people."
