Well, it's not really a question, but more so a comment. I actually have been pondering on whether or not I should make a character for this realm. But then I wouldn't know how to enter in since... well one) I am a bit intimidated by the way you both roleplay. It's quite descriptive, almost like I'm reading a real story between two people. So that brings me to number two) I wouldn't know how to enter in. >_>"
But I really like the way you made this up. It will take me a while to remember all the rules of this world, but I think I have the gist of it.

I may have the gist, but with all the school events coming up, especially my AP exams, it may take me a while to make a well developed character. I'm really just making up characters as I go along. I don't really have a permanent one except for things like Bleach or Naruto. So, until I can clear my mind of worries, the Eldest Realm is like a maze for me. I'll keep in mind about being a character of the skyship though.

Remember, this a whole word. Though it is fashioned slightly differently, it still has all of the roles that our world would have. I mean there would be a few differences, but there are still police (knights), vendors, merchants, thieves, assassins, detectives, bakers, cooks, spies, clerks, and random billionaires. Just think of what you would like to be and ask me how it can be done.

Are there any side effects to having been too close to Silverwood before? Such as skin change or eye color change and what not. Or is it simply going into a comatose and die.

Like all thing in this world, you can grow an immunity to silverwood.. let's say you touch silverwood for some length of time but break contact before you lose consciousness.. each time you did it your body would slowly adapt and over generations you or your lineage would mutate which are the origins of the Silvarian people.
But to answer your question.. the sensation of electricity running through your veins followed by numbness and bone clenching chills... but the chills come on just a few seconds before consciousness is lost.

Never do they do it publicly, but in secret some may go down because they do not trust their subordinates to get the job done. Also They can be banished to the surface, they think of the surface both figuratively and literally it is below them.. and one of great status should not mingle with that everyday rabble.

Okay. And since I'm sure my character will be born at the surface, do I need to choose which city she was born in and how she was brought up? Or are there certain incidents that occur to people at the surface that you had in mind for this world? ...I hope that my question wasn't confusing.

you choose your character.. by this I mean, you choose your birthplace backstory and backround as well as any occupations and skills and personality traits family etc. the world is so huge that there are people from every walk of life. the only things that are truly shared are what is mentioned.. I mean if you are from the mainland it is most likely that you are either a refugee or were born in some sort of slum unless you are the offspring of a high ranking official in one of the various gangs.. but how you grew up is completely up to you.

Well yes, each organization on the surface is tied to the economic and social structure of that city or district.. they regulate everything from "law" and judicial systems to economic growth to member devotion, growth, and over all reputation. They also have different resources around them that are natural, so those must also be maintained.. i mean think of them as both gangs and companies.. now when you belong to them you must contribute to the greater whole, but in return you get benefits.. I mean if you think about it.. not everyone can be an assassin.. otherwise there would be no food... not everyone can be a cook either.. all of the processes have to work together to achieve a greater goal.. you catch my drift?
