Thank Arceus no one was seriously hurt that last raid. Despite the surprise appearance of a certain Champion and the relentless attack of a particular legendary, most of the Rockets made it out alright. Sure there were lots of cuts and bruises to deal with afterwards. Leonard had a particularly nasty gash on his shoulder that would probably end up scarring. But no one was rendered near dead or comatose...
Nope, he wasn't worried about that today. He was worried about something else. Leonard rarely visited the library but he was there. With his laptop, furiously typing and clicking away at it. It seemed redundant to bring a computer to a place filled with books, but he needed the quiet environment. It's not like he was completely ignoring the books either. There was a stack of books next to his mouse and his hand would bump into it on occasion.

Alexander had finally convinced the medical staff to let him out of the medical ward but it came at a slight price. He was dressed in a modified uniform, one with back shorts and a black t-shirt with a red R on it instead of the regular long sleeve shirt and pants. The reason for this was clear since he had a cast wrapped around his leg from mid thigh to half way down his leg. This also made it so he had to wheel his self around in a wheel chair, thus leading to his ire. He had just wheeled into the library to find some books to read while he was on medical leave and he started to look around immediately.

The squeaking and rustle of a wheelchair caught Leonard's attention. He looked up from his studies and saw a familiar face... It was that Grunt from the raid, the one that helped him up when he fell in the mud. He almost flinched at how badly he was hurt. So much for thinking that everyone made it out ok.
"Oh wow, what happened to you?" He asked him, even though he already knew the answer. Those Champions and Legendaries were dangerous.

Alexander looked up fro the book he had been contemplating on whether he would read it or not when he herd the familiar voice. He saw it was the Rocket he had helped and in return helped him out on the raid. "I'm surprised you didn't notice when he were leaving the cave. When Kyogre used Aqua Tail a piece of broken stalagmite got flung into my leg." he just chuckled though. "It isn't as bad as it looks though. Did you make it out in one piece?" he asked, looking Leonard over for any injuries other then some cuts and bruises.

"Er, I was knocked into my Snorlax by the Kyogre's Aqua tail." Leonard said with a sigh. "So I was like half-unconcious for the rest of the mission... I got a nasty cut on my shoulder too but it's nothing like what happened to you. Look on the bright side though." He forced a small smile onto his face. "They wouldn't be sending you on more dangerous raids anytime soon."
His eyes turned back towards his laptop's screen. The next expression on his face suggested that he found something he was looking for but that quickly fell into a frown. A small growl emitted from Leonard as he typed into his laptop some more.

Alexander chuckled then nodded. "Yes I can see why you didn't notice now." It would explain how the other had acted on the way back to HQ, of course by then Alexander his self was out of sorts because of pain so he could be remembering some one else. "I suppose but this just means I don't have a very good track record on missions. Seeing as that was technically my first mission other then my regular job." he laughed, not really bothered by it. At first he had beat his self up over how badly he had done but soon came to the conclusion that he would just have to do better next time.
He raised an eye brow when Leonard suddenly growled at his computer. "Is there something wrong?" he asked, curious to the change.

"I'm sure they'll be lenient or something." Leonard said. "Lance did make a surprise appearance that messed everything up. I mean just the fact that you faced the Champion and a Legendary Pokemon and came out alive means a lot."
The smile he had on while reassuring him fell from his face as he remembered what he's supposed to be doing. "Ah... Do you know about Kyogre? No wait, of course you do. You were on the raid. What do you know about it, more like?"

"That's what I'm hoping on." Alexander nodded. He truly hoped that his superiors would over look his uselessness on the mission this time so he could show them next time he could be better. He knew he and his team would need to train hard before they could be of any help on what ever next mission he would be on.
"I know of the legend surrounding it with Groudon and Rayquaza. Also that it controls the oceans and can call forth rain. Nothing much after that, why?" he asked, curious about what the other might be researching or what ever he was doing.

"I've just been thinking. After that last raid..." Leonard opened some more sites as he spoke. "I know about the legends about Kyogre and Groundon and Rayquaza too. Kyogre is supposed to be the guardian of the sea and stuff yet in all the records that one has showed itself to humans it only caused destruction. Like summon enough rain flood the earth or create a tidal wave to wash away a city. Or you know, a whole region like what almost happened to Hoenn."
He didn't even know why he was talking to Alex about this. He was practically a stranger but what happened might have rattled him up enough...
"But it was stopped last time thanks to Rayquaza. Now that Team Rocket has a Kyogre though, who's going to stop them from destroying the world now?"

Alexander listened and couldn't help but agree that something didn't quite add up. He rested his elbows on the arms of the wheelchair then leaned forward on his hands. "This is true. But at the same time it wouldn't be 'them' as Team Rocket has Kyogre in it's possession. The problem would be if Groudon ever went on a rampage again." That was a troubling thought. He may be part of Team Rocket but he sure didn't agree with some of the things they did.
In his honest opinion he would prefer the legendary to be released so to not cause an imbalance and just creates clones. But at the same time he was not willing to tell Leonard this and is could be something that could get him in trouble with the higher ups.

"Groudon. Right." Leonard sounded like he just remember that other legendary Pokemon. Even though it was mentioned in practically every article alongside Kyogre.
"I'm not so afraid of Groudon.. since a drought seems like a slow way to go and someone would've caught or suppressed it before it got worse. But rain, they'll wash away everything in a blink of an eye. And Rayquaza can still calm it... Though I wouldn't be surprised if Team Rocket had their eye on Groudon too. Or Rayquaza."
He also just remembered that their mysterious boss, Lucere, had a Dark Groudon or something. Did that count?

"Hmm, this is true." Alexander said after a moment. "But who are you worried about destroying the world then? Team Rocket wouldn't profit from it, Groudon can be stopped and Rayquaza never seems to go on a rampage." It was slightly confusing to Alexander why Leonard was worried, after all no one would profit from the end of the world, not even Team Rocket.
