Ainsley had been put to bed on February 27th with sweet dreams of waking up the next day to meet her birthday with a smile. Not just her birthday, but her biggest birthday ever. She was turning ten, the big one zero. She was moving into the double digits! This meant so much to the nine year old child, like it did many children. Gifts were not something that excited the child about her birthday, although she appreciated the thought. What she looked forward to most was spending this special day with her friends, and being able to spend another year with them.
She was dreaming of such things as the clock struck past midnight and into her birthday, and soon the child found herself waking up in an all too familiar place. She was dressed as a senshi, and didn't seem to question it. It was common for her to end up in this beautiful place with bunny slipper companions and a big bow on her butt. Her icy eyes soon found themselves looking around at the ice islands around her, and the aurora covered sky. There was an enchanting sound of orcas singing from below, welcoming Chibi Hypnos back to their home. She found herself peeking over the island, giving them a wave. They wanted to play, but the child found herself staring at them until her eyes moved back to the snow.
It was her birthday and Gwenliana wasn't here. None of her friends were here. Cora wasn't here, Santa Cat wasn't here, Mister Birdy's wonderful rainbow did not soar across the sky with him and Big Kitty did not seem to be hiding in any of the snow or on the back of any orca below. She had her bunny plush though, that was an upside! She found herself hugging onto him as she sat on the edge of the island, her feet dangling over as her eyes gazed up at the stars in the sky.
"I wish my friends were here."

********* did not feel up to being her usual self. Usually, she didn't let disappointment get to her, but most disappointments weren't this heavy.
Ever since her encounter with Parthenope, she had honestly not been up to most things. This included investigating the land of Elysion. However, the only thing that had managed to get the cat moving and investigating the Dream world were four words from Sailor Iris.
"Leave it to me."
The manx wasn't certain how, but those four words were all she needed. The energy seemed to return back to her legs, allowing her to finally resume her investigations of this new place. It was a different location than what she was adjusted to. The sky itself seemed like it was trying to taunt a particular senshi she was well acquainted with (and in all honesty, made ********* very grateful she was not in said senshi's company at the moment). The ground was cold, but it wasn't anything uncomfortable.
With a gentle sigh, the manx mused aloud "...so, this is Elysion, huh?" Her green eyes eventually managed to catch sight of someone a small distance away. They seemed small, and in all honesty, she looked about the same size as Sailor Chibi Hugbell. Not being the shy one, the pale spotted feline called out "Hello over there!" ********* began to hop on over, each bound making a cheerful jingling noise.

Chloe could not help it, she just stood there... mouth agape. What... kind of liza frank rainbow crack world was this?
Granted.. she was happy the senshi won this side, it meant this side would be safe from any negative influences. No negaversers would be allowed to set foot here. They would be repelled. Plus... just looking around this place screamed 'GOOD' guy. Negaversers did not ride on rainbows, did they?
She really did not want to know the answer to said question!
Instead the small siamese soon found herself wandering around, exploring. The snow was cold on her paws but they were used to extreme temperatures. The cement in destiny city was not exactly cool most days.
Ears flicking around, Chloe heard something happening..so she went to see. No need to fear a nega attack right? Approaching she noticed a small senshi first, the little one whom jumped infront of the General queen... Chloe felt a pang of guilt that that happened... she was the one whom zapped the monster.... but at least the senshi was still alive. That made her guilt not as strong.
Not really announcing herself, she moved towards the others... not yet noticing the other cat.

This land was not his own. It -was- part of Elysion and therefore by some extension part of 'his', but it wasn't his home, his turf, or even something he was overly comfortable with. The snow and cold bit at his tiny bird form, and he still wasn't sure how he felt about being a rainbow quail. It honestly was somewhat humiliating.
But when the wish rang out across Elysion, the tiny guardian simply couldn't ignore it. He felt some sort of attachment to Hypnos, ever since the battle in his own field that now lay in the clutches of darkness he felt a need to look out for her. Children shouldn't be in warzones, but there was little he could do to keep her out. He could, however, watch over her while she was within the realm of Elysion. Even if it was something as innocent as a little get together with friends.
A small rainbow form fluttered in the sky, leaving behind little rainbows behind it that slowly faded into the air. The form headed straight for Hypnos, landing on her head.
It then seemed to realize that there were cats in the area, and gave the tiniest of distressed peeps before burying further in the chibi senshi's hair.

With her little bunny slippers dangling over the edge, the small child seemed absolutely carefree when she heard something in the distance. A little noise. She wasn't sure what she heard first, the jingle or the friendly greeting from the manx with the green eyes, but her head slowly tilted to the side, her eyes carefully gazing at her surroundings. She hadn't expected what she seen, not at all. It was Santa Cat, she was sure of it. She was missing the Santa Hat she had placed on her head, but just how many purple spotted and tailless cats with a bell around their neck did the child run into? She'd only run into one, so the thought of another certainly didn't cross her mind. She hadn't thought about the difference between Ainsley and Hypnos when immediately her lips parted and the words, "Santa Cat?" softly found their way from between.
Wait. Santa Cat can talk? What a wonderful birthday gift!
She was excited, filled with happiness from her wish being granted at Santa Cat's arrival. She smiled softly and gave a small wave at the small manx. Today was one of those days though, one of those days where things didn't go how you expected. They didn't go the way you wanted at all: they went better. Before she had a chance to further question Santa Cat about her sudden ability to talk, the child's wish was proven further when the she let out a small squeal, started when something landed on her head. It wasn't an unknown feeling, a weight the child had become adjusted to. A weight that nuzzled, and buried into her hair after making a few small and rather distressed sounding peeps. She couldn't help but make a louder squeal.
"Mister Birdy?"
Two of her friends had found their way here! Her birthday wish was coming true! Not only that, but she had found Mister Birdy again, and just like he said he would be: he was here! Her small hands found their way to the top of her head as she felt around. She might look awful foolish in such a position but the child had a sweet smile on her face, her mouth opening wider when she felt the bump of Mister Birdy gently under her head, confirming her belief.
"I found you. I promised you I would."
Would more of her friends show up as well? Her eyes darted in a rather excited manner until they landed on another cat just in the distance. She had seen this cat somewhere before, and after she thought about it for a second she realized she had met this cat in the dream world as well. She had met the cat when she had met Big Kitty, however she did not have a chance to properly introduce herself. She gave her a small wave and asked the Siamese cat a small but important question , "Are you all right over there? You didn't hurt yourself, did you?"

The cat noted the wave, which translated somewhere in her mind as "Come on over." Eagerly, the cat stopped immediately next to the girl, looking up to her with a smile.
This was not her first encounter with a chibi senshi, so there wasn't any shock about there being a child in a fuku. However, there was something familiar about this child. The manx could not quite place a paw upon it, but it was like there was an itch in her brain. Accompanying the brain itch was the child's senshi name.
"Sailor Chibi Hypnos," she said with a small giggle before something caused her ears to twitch. What, in the world was a Mister Birdy? Curiously with a slight cooing mew, she looked up to the slight commotion on the child's head.
"Hmmm... a Quail?" Rather than respectfully remain beside the child, the slightly pudgy cat found it 100% okay to try to find a place in the child's lap so she could get a closer look. In a rather casual manner, the cat seemed to sway slightly from side to side, speaking in a conversational manner that normally wouldn't have been intimidating. However, there was a bird right there who probably could argue against such.
"You know, you don't see quails about too often these days." Her ear twitched slightly as the other cat moved closer. "Now we just need another quail, since you seem to be attracting animals in pairs."
The manx's green eyes were still trying to look at the Quail.

Cora had learned to love Elysion. Those three battles she had encountered before the great race in this rainbow land had been depressing events, to say it frankly. In the first battle, seeing Hypnos in life-threatening situation. In the second one, witnessing Quail's Eye's last moments before his defeat. In the third one, getting almost grilled in Leopard's Eye's lava pool. But this last battle, or more better said competition, was different. It had been a race, giddy and mostly un-violent one. It had been actually fun. It was no wonder that she liked to come here, in this land again. And it had nothing to do with the fact that she had reached the finish line first. Or maybe it had.
The hot pink baby penguin had dragged her up on the hill. It had taken it's liking at Cora for some reason and had a tendency to drag her around the rainbow land. Now, the little one was standing in the snow, eyes closed and waving her fin rhytmicly, like counting something. Cora had walked away, playing this little Hide-and-Seek game but also secrectly wanting to escape. It was not that she didn't like the baby penguin. No, she was adorable. It's just, she was rough at times, like little ones are and she wanted a break from that.
She had found a mouth of a tunnel. The inside of the icy tunnel was blinking light at times, of different color of spectrum each time. Curious, she leaned forward.... and lost the feel of the ground under her paw. With rapid speed, the guardian cat slided down like a cream-colored ball sled.
Before she could even scream, the end of the tunnel came and she was in the air, with mercy of gravity. Panicked, she started swing her paws around, searching for something, anything that could save her. Accidentally, her paw wrapped around one of two strings that were attached to her capelet and held it together in a bow. She pulled the string, opening the bow and tried to catch both strings with her paws. Maybe it was the power of this land but it worked like a miracle. The capelet formed a little air pocket under it, working like a small parachute now. Gliding in the air, she slowly flied towards the direction where Hypnos and others were. Finally, she could see the girl.
"Hypnooos," she called from the air. "Up here!"

The small senshi seemed a little shocked when Santa Cat called her Sailor Chibi Hypnos. How had she known that? She wasn't even Sailor Chibi Hypnos when she had met Santa Cat! The child seemed foreign to the magical powers of guardian cats and spend a good amount of energy trying to figure out just how she knew her name. She couldn't figure it out though and soon the child found herself wording herself a question about it. In the meanwhile, ********* had been 100% okay with trying to find a place in her lap, and succeeding. The child was 100% okay with petting her head, just behind her ears, as she asked, "How did you know my name?"
Her question caused her to completely miss the comment about the quail on her head, so when ********* had continued to talk about how you don't see quails around too often these days, the child gave her a strange look. She'd never called Quail's Eye a quail and easily forgot that not only was he a bird, but he was a kind of bird: a quail! She didn't seem to mind the stare ********* had, and could only find the wide green eyes to be absolutely adorable.
As if to ruin ********* fun, there was a cry from above and the child looked upward, removing the quail completely from ********* sight as Hypnos looked up for the source of the voice. She knew that voice! She knew it all too well, it was Cora! But why was she coming from the sky? Although Sailor Chibi Hypnos didn't know everything there was to know about the Dream world, she was sure that this particular realm did not have wings included upon entry like Mister Birdy's had. Shocked to see Cora gliding down from the sky to her, she sat there dumbfounded for a moment until Cora was actually close enough, then she spread her arms out wide and promptly caught the falling cat in her arms. Now it was three cats and a bird. The odds weren't looking good for Quail's Eye, but Hypnos couldn't stop smiling widely, innocently. Look at all her friends! The ocras, how she loved them, they granted her wish!
Happily, the child announced it to *********. "Three!"

This girl was good! She managed to find one of those places behind her ears that felt like heaven when scratched. A deep purring sound vibrated in her chest and for a moment her eyes closed, hiding the bird from sight.
With her eyes shut, she rather easily replied to the girl "I can just tell that you are Chibi Hypnos. Though, I can only do that with Senshi."
Her eyes finally peeked open when the nice sensation behind her ears abandoned her. As if to retaliate, her ears flicked slightly. Her eyes, however, were too busy trailing the voice that had announced itself while her eyes had been so contently closed. There was a cream and light chestnut colored cat semi-parachuting towards them. Tilting her head to the side in a curious manner, she commented "You don't see that every day!"
It was a bit ironic that this was coming from a talking cat.
With her nose quickly twitching and sniffing, ********* leaned her face towards the child's arms, trying to investigate the new feline. "Well, you aren't a quail... but I suppose you work well enough!" The pale spotted manx in Hypnos' lap eventually paused in her sniffs and in a friendly tone asked "So, do you have a name? Mine is *********>

Cora landed on Hypnos' arms softly, the capelet parachute slowing the slide enough that even though she would had landed on bare ground, she would had been okay. But landing on her dear senshi arms was much more pleasant and welcomed. As her small fingers dived in In the cat's soft fur, Cora pressed her cheek againgst her chest and pushed strongly, showing this way her affection towards the birthday girl. Surely, purring made her message more clear. I'm happy to see you because you are dear to me.
It took a moment for her to realize she wasn't alone with Hypnos. As she finally started to pay attention to her surroundings, she found two other cats around them as well. One of them was sniffing her.
"Oh... Hi," she said to both of them. "It's nice to meet you.... I'm Cora." Pink cat eyes glanced at Hypnos and the girl got another loving nudge. "Her guardian."
The fact made her proud, there was no reason to deny it. She straightened her body, looking a bit bigger cat in Hypnos' arms and turned her nose a little bit upwards. Not that she would had felt she was more worthy or something (even though she might had given that kind of picture of herself), she just was so proud of her mission.
In a moment her expression changed however and pink eyes turned to look at ********* curiously. "Wait...... Did you just said a quail?" she asked from the tailless guardian cat.

It was interesting that the cat that looked so much like Santa Cat would tell who she was even without her telling her. *********>, she thought as the cat introduced itself. It wasn't Santa Cat, it was *********. Why did she keep thinking it was Santa Cat? It didn't even have a santa hat on! Either way, a cat friend was good enough for her and she squeezed ********* a little in a group hug between Cora and *********. She got the message Cora was sending with her physical affection clear as day and she was more than happy to send it back, sending ********* probably half of what she sent. Oh well! She loved Cora, and she'd love ********* too!
The word quail caught her attention when Cora said it, and she had a memory of the time in his realm. Cora was there, she was there. Quail had been destroyed that day. She remembered the tears so clearly as they blurred her vision, the sounds of her sobs. It didn't matter now though, because he was here with them. He may not be home, but he was safe and sound at least and that was good enough for now. If he was alive he could always get his home back and she'd help as much as she could possibly!
"Yes Cora! Quail is okay!" She said as she played with the ends of her hair. There was a quail nesting in her hair and she couldn't help but smile. She'd become his temporary home and that made enough happiness to spread to the entire dream world. It was no time for sadness, it was her birthday and all her friends were here! Well, Big Kitty wasn't here but she'd take the good over the bad. She had some friends here and she should be happy with that.
There was no time for sadness, and Sailor Chibi Hypnos insisted everyone play with her for her birthday. It was the perfect place for it, with crazy rainbows and colours all over the place. They could run around on the fields of ice, and race over the rainbows. Perhaps even ride on the ponies if the time allowed them. The sky was only getting lighter and lighter as time passed and the child knew well what that meant. It meant she'd wake up soon and be faced with the reality of her birthday. Cora would be there, but none of her other friends! So she tried her best to play with them all while she could until the very end when the dawn rose in the sky and they all found themselves back in their beds.
