It had been an extremely long day, and he had spent most of it on his back under a jeep that had leaked various vital fluids all over him. Keeping Team Rocket's vehicles running smoothly was a satisfying job, one that absorbed him totally while he was in the midst of wrenches and oil and intricate parts that he had to coax into doing their jobs. After he finished work, however, he was invariably tired, stiff, and mucky. Today he was also hungry, because he had somehow managed to get so distracted that he worked all the way through lunch and through dinner too. After taking a shower, however, he decided that he wanted to go to the library far more than he wanted to mess about trying to find food for himself; it wasn't as if missing two meals was going to kill him after all.
His stomach was not at all happy with the decision, but he refused to allow such a gloopy internal organ to tell him what to do. Besides, as he entered the library it became a background concern, and would be forgotten entirely once he found something good to read. Exactly what he was going to read he hadn't decided yet, but walking slowly among the shelves was half the fun.
Giving a very soft sigh of contentment and rolling his stiff shoulders the small man set off among the books, his icy blue eyes scanning the spines for something interesting.

Tony had busied himself through the day in research, which wasn't exactly a strange thing for him. In fact, more often than not, that was exactly what he was doing. Behavioral sciences, species specific research, things that related to breeding and pokemon care, as well as certain applications of that knowledge in areas befitting Team Rocket.
He rarely took time to himself, as this was what he liked to do. So why have any other hobbies, when he was perfectly happy having his job be just that? Maybe he was boring, though the thought didn't trouble him too much.
Interacting with people was difficult, at best. At least pokemon, for the most part at any rate, couldn't make him feel awkward or stupid.
He was now browsing some books, looking for anything new or interesting. When not working, he liked to read up on things just outside his line of work. Of course, this still couldn't be called a hobby as he tried to take ideas or concepts and apply them to his work. Anything that might be useful.
He had his nose in a book and didn't notice another person in the isle until he bumped into them.
"Oh, sorry," he said lowly, looking up with an immediately guilty expression.

An interesting looking volume entitled 'The history of pokemon in transportation' had caught his attention, causing him to come to a halt and to give it his undivided attention. He had just decided to pick it up when something bumped into him. Frost jumped back a foot or two by reflex, reaching for a weapon that wasn't there before he even landed. When he did land, however, he remembered that he didn't have a gun on him, and realised that the thing that had bumped into him was just another rocket.
For some moments he studied the other man expressionlessly before saying; "You are forgiven," in equally cool, but certainly not unkind or impolite tones. "I presume the book is good?" he added, gesturing to the volume the other man had been absorbed in until their minor collision.

Tony looked stunned when the man leaped away from him, though impressed by his reflexes. He didn't have quite as good ones of his own, only managing to stumble back awkwardly before the man pulled some kind of weapon on him, or something. It didn't seem he had one, though, which might have been the only thinking keeping him in one piece.
He sighed softly.
"I... ah... yes. Well, no, actually. It's not that well written, but the content is what I need, and I have to sort of focus on it quite intently to not let my mind wander off because of the droll... ahh..."
Too much explanation.
"Sorry, I really should have been looking where I was going. No harm done?"

"Mmh, no harm done," Frost confirmed, smoothing down an imagined crease in his pristine uniform. "In any case, even a poorly written book can draw one in if the subject matter is interesting," the small man said with a nod; the other rocket might think that he had explained too much, but Frost was quite glad to be given the details. "This if fortunate given that most authors seem to have only a very basic grasp of grammar and so on...What is the book about?"
This man (tall, nice eyes) seemed to be something of a 'geek', which meant he probably had a better chance of getting along well with him than he had with most others. Make friends, or at least friendly associates, and they would help you when you needed them provided you did the same for them... Of course, there were less tangible, less logical reasons for forming interpersonal relationships too but they were harder to think about, or they were for him at any rate. Having somebody to listen to your interests, somebody to grumble to, to share successes with... and to have them do the same in return. Useless though such things might seem on the surface, such companionship was a basic human need. He had Skiron for friendship of course but... but deep down he had to admit that it wasn't the same. He could talk to Skiron, but Skiron couldn't talk back.
