She'd been chasing fairy tales again, looking for those water soquili they hadn't quite managed to find a few days ago. She was determined to find one.. eventually.. even if she had to go out into the water and search for one herself. Luckily her friend had taught her to swim and thus not fear the water so much any more. Her mother however, was another story. she still swore the ocean was a killer. This was yet another trip she was taking to the lake. She'd become braver yet again and was venturing further from home regardless of her now leeriness of anything that sounded like wings above her. She still preferred to be back home by dark lest she fall pray to another kalona. that had been bad enough and she still bore the massive scar on her shoulder hidden beneath her mane.

The brightly colored stallion trotted slowly on the banks of the lake. He didn't know why water always made him feel at home but it did. Maybe it was because of his mother's side or maybe it was because it calmed him down some. He walked on the edge for a little longer before seeing a shimmer of white in the water that caught his eyes. Now he wasn't one to actually go into the water. It would mess up his hair and good looks, plus who knows if he would ever find his glasses again. He lost them once already and it took him days to find. He wasn't going to do it again. "Is the water nice!?" He called out to her from a distance before smirking a little bit. He could tell it was a mare from where he was and a very pretty mare at that. Maybe he would actually have a little bit of fun today..?

Her ears caught the voice which caused her to stop her search for the water soquili she hadn't been able to find when she and Roman had first looked. It was a brightly colored soquili speaking to her, some how he seemed different though. "Hello." Her voice was soft, dainty almost a fragile sound to match her appearance ans she smiled some as she looked up before answering his question and wading to the shore. "It's... a bit chilly but not too bad." She could swim now, but she would rather not be too deep in the water in case something happened and she needed to run for safety.

Razzi eyed the mare some more especially when she came in a little closer. She was pretty, but beyond that he didn't know if they could click well. He didn't get along with many due to his arrogance. "That is good. I'm not much of a water Soq even though I'm a kelpie. I don't want my gorgeous hair to be all wet and damp from lake water." He gave a snort as he stuck his hoof into the water just barely. He didn't like getting all wet. It ruined his look completely. "So what is your name, pretty lady? I'm Paparazzi, but most just call me Razzi for short." He nodded to her and did a little strut as he said his name.

"You're a kelpie?? As in one of those soquili who can survive in water and on land?" She looked at him in amazement for some time. Here it was.. the fabled water soquili she'd been searching for. Wait till Roman hears of this! she thought as she looked at the interesting differences of the stallion. Her attention was brought back at his introduction. Giving a friendly smile, she nodded. "I'm Briallan Oralee.. but most just call me Briallan or just Bri." Her deer like tail gave it's usual waggle as she exited the water and shook the last bit of water from her fur.

Razzi tilted his head at her slightly wondering if she had ever met a kelpi before. It didn't seem like it at this point. "Yes I am, but I look more kelpie then regular. My father is normal looking." He said to her eying her features more closely and to be honest he really loved her hair. It was nice and long. Something he didn't have sadly. "It's nice to meet you Bri." He said to her moving slightly close and nuzzling her cheek very lightly. "Your pretty cute. Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked smirking before walking away from her slightly. "Come on let's get away from this icky water." He said to her sticking his tongue out slightly as he moved away from the lake.

"I see.. do all kelpies look like you?? And how many where there? Have you very met one of those they call um..... seathi or mer??? " Plenty of questions she had. "Oh yes.. Nice to meet you too..." She began to feel a bit uncomfortable at his invasion of privacy however. Something about him being close enough to touch or harm her just sent a shiver down her spine. As soon as he touched her she let out a squeal like she'd just been bitten and scrambled back a few feet, trembling. "Ok... um.. I-I g-g-guess s-s-so... T-t-thanks.. B-but n-no.. I d-don't have a b-b-boyfriend.." She shook her head vigorously sending her mane tossing about as she did so. A nasty scar revealed itself on the shoulder her mane hid. It looked like something had most literally taken a chunk out o her. It wasn't till he suggested going away from the lake that she eyed him with suspicion. "Why? You don't like to just be here, watching over the water?"

"Yes I think they do and some might even have variations in fins, but we mostly look the same. Well I don't know..I only know my mother and my sisters. We all got the gene for showing a lot more kelpi in us then most who are mixed. Seathi or mer? No I haven't actually. Don't even know what those are." He said to him nodding and smirked hearing her words about no boyfriend. She was pretty enough he didn't see how that was possible really. It was even weird in his eyes. "Awww that is ashame. Your quite striking and I'm sure tons of guys would want you." He said to her smirking some more as he eyed the water snorting slightly. "I do...it's just I'm always afraid I would fall in. I don't like getting myself all wet and messy." He said looking away from her a little bit before nuzzling her slightly. "Me and you should go out sometimes." He smirked a little bit more and nudged her playfully.

"Oh.. I see.." She figured it'd been a shot in the dark asking about other water types, still she had to ask. The natural blush like markings on her face grew slightly darker as he continued with his flattery. She was becoming more flustered the more he flattered her.. it was almost un-comforting really.. awkward to hear it from a male who wasn't just stating it to be friendly and nice like Roman had. "Oh um.. I don't know.. I-I really don't know much about you..." She glanced back at the water, a fish tail breaking the otherwise calm surface only to slap at it before sinking back into the water.

The dark colored stallion looked at the pretty mare a little more before shaking his head very slightly. She was a shy one it seemed, but there was nothing wrong with that at all just it wasn't something he was use to be around. He liked the shy ones over the bold. He liked being the chaser. It was more fun that way since he would prefer the dominance being him only. His sisters on the other hand were a handful. They had his mother's attitude, but also her elegance. Sighing lightly, he looked down a bit as he thought about them more. He missed them so much and rarely got to see them. Maybe it was better that way, but he was the only brother they had and how was he suppose to protect them if he wasn't there? Wasn't it the brother's job to protect his sister's?
Eying back to the mare, he smiled slightly and flicked his tail behind himself.
"Then why don't we be friends at least? That is harmless right?"
He grinned at the mare as he curled his tail up and flicked it back out. He wouldn't mind being friends with a pretty mare. He would probably treat her like a princess even though they were friends because she deserved it being as pretty as she was.
"Would you care if I treated you like a princess though? I wouldn't go further then that...but personally..you deserve it for being to pretty."
He nodded and blew her a kiss grinning widely.

She blinked a bit. He wanted to be friends? And wasn't offended by her suspicions? She guessed she couldn't disagree to being his friend. Then his last bit struck her a bit curious. A princess? Didn't her father often treat her as such? "I guess.. I don't mind.. though I don't see the beauty you seem to.. I mean..." She broke off in thought. She'd often heard herself being called pretty but that was mostly family and friends speaking. She shrugged aside his blown kiss chalking him up to being just a play boy like the herd's protected Meykal as she eyed him for a moment. "Since we're going to be friends... You're a bit of a play boy aren't you? just like Meykal.. though.. he's not so bold as you.. or at least I've never seen him be that bold among the herd members.."
