It was past noon, but not dusk yet, as Chelinka set off down a gully. She stepped carefully in the precarious path, as she knew it was dangerous, but when she had seen it she could not help but to travel it. The tiny mare was in a good mood, for she knew that spring was on it's way. The start of spring meant no more snow, which was true for it hadn't snowed in quite some time, and to her this was a good thing. When it had snowed, the poor mare was more often than not obscured from view and almost completely unable to get from one place to another! Her short legs prevented her from being able to travel without jumping, and when she did such - she would tire quickly.
Now though, Chelinka could freely roam about and explore - something she loved to do for she was mostly alone and had only encountered one other soquili on her journeys. She had to admit though, as she reached the end of the gully, the mare was becoming fed up with this lonesome trek.
