What were some sad parts of Silent Hill games, that you would like to share?
A single tear went down my cheek when I saw Lisa Garland transforming in Silent Hill 1.

I think the part when James has to tell Laura he killed Mary and she doesn't really know how to react or respond to it. Even though she was a brat the first few times you encountered her before she started warming up to James a bit, it was a little more heartbreaking when you find out Mary was thinking of adopting her

For me, it was when Walter Sullivan died in Silent Hill 4. From the point of him being a kid, he was mislead his entire life to believe something that wasn't true. He was guided to believe he could ressurect his mother and see her again. And as such, his final dying word was a cry out to his mom.

I agree with Yakumo. I have a little sister, and I know that if I were to have done that it would have torn me apart. I would have to say that is the saddest thing, ever. Even after he was trying to save and protect his brother...

You know, reading all of these shows me that, while Silent Hill has scares and thrills that connect to some of our own personal fears, there are also some serious emotional scenes which connect to our own emotions. Things we would cry over, feel helpless over.... All of these connections through these games.... Just goes to show they aren't just games, they are almost personified.
