Thursday, February 2, 2006 (Toronto, ON.) -- Universal Music Canada is pleased to announce that they are making a free Bon Jovi video podcast available to fans, a first for major record labels in Canada. RICHIE SAMBORA completed the podcast video interview while in Toronto for four sold out nights at the Air Canada Centre.

Bon Jovi's ninth studio album HAVE A NICE DAY (Island/Universal Music Canada) debuted at number one on the Nielsen Soundscan chart last fall. HOW DO I GET TO THE RICHIE SAMBORA PODCAST?
- Go to www.umusic.ca
- On the main page, you'll see FEATURES and a small photo of Richie along with the story about the first ever video podcast from UMusic Canada. In the text, there is a hotlink (highlighted in bold yellow) on the word PODCASTS. Click on that. It will take you to the video podcast page of the site.
- This is the PODCAST PAGE. It has the story detailing this press release and shows a photo of Jon & Richie onstage from the January 21 show in Toronto (it's actually a shot of Jon and Richie at Jon's mike - after Jon read his "prepared statement" off the back of a set list about the band's runway scare when their private plane overshot the runway and skidded landing into Hamilton Ontario, and Richie complained he'd spilled his drink!)

BON JOVI - ATLANTIC CITY(Feb 6)
BON JOVI headed into ATLANTIC CITY, NEW JERSEY for a show on Saturday nite. It was a tough trip there - whether didn't allow them to land the plane in Atlantic City so they had to land in Philadelphia instead... no problems with the landing but they had to drive to the venue so they missed soundcheck. I wonder if Richie was singing for Heather or Ava in a way. You know what I mean?
Although I do love Richie singing, I LOVED the acoustic version they did at mine, and Richie sang most of Wanted, so it was good.

Richie Sambora did an interview for VOICE OF AMERICA (VOA) -- they will be doing the Richie Sambora special tomorrow 10am-11am EST. It will be streaming at www.voamusicmix.net and then the archive will be on Border Crossings for the week. (visit www.voanews.com) After that the TV piece will be featured on VOA Indonesia, VOA Urdu, VOA Persian, VOA LatAm, VOA India, VOA Turkey, and VOA China and broadcast to the 500 affiliates worldwide.
Jon Bon Jovi is featured on the very last page of the March issue of the U.S. edition of ELLE magazine (Ashlee Simpson is on the cover.) It's a basic Q&A piece.
