The she-wolf did not in any way, shape or form want to crawl out from under her pillows right now. She was comfortable and still tired. Another long night with the gang that had ended with her starting off staying the night over with Alessa. But at one point, deep into the night, LW had found she couldn't sleep. She tried, but her mind was restless, thinking about many things. Well that and it didn't help that there was a full moon out tonight. It called to the wolf's blood and she just gave up on trying to sleep.

So, LW had left Alessa's room quietly and padded down to her own room. Once in there, she'd sat by her window for a couple hours unintentionally. She'd just been watching the moon make its arc over the night sky while thinking about things. Most of which revolved around her friends. It was strange but pleasant to realize just how close she had become to her friends. They were like a second family. LW treasured the relationships she had with all of them and it had taken that time she'd sat there, just staring out at the moon for her to realize just how much.

On top of that, she also took the time to think about demons. More specifically demon marks. Absently, her hand lightly traced the design that rested on the inside of her upper thigh. Carry's mark. Maybe she needed to ask her boilfriend about demon marks?

Needless to say, she had stayed up way too late and was Jacking tired. But sleeping in was just not meant to be. First, Callix had started wailing about something. LW had tried to ignore this at first, rolling over and burying her face into the warm fur of her hazmutt. But the wailing turned to outraged shrieking followed by her batling jumping (or crashing) into her to tattle on Billy Bob. Of course, the mimic had to add on to this by latching on to the she-wolf's tail.

"ENOUGH!" She growled at them only to receive a batling trying to burrow his way down her shirt and hide while BB launched himself at said batling. This ended with the mimic almost hitting her in the face, but she had ducked at the last second. "Terrors. All of you." With a groan, she pulled Callix out of his hiding spot and dropped him down on a pillow while she dragged her tired body towards the bathroom. A shower. That was a MUST right now. "Austin. Be my guard dog?" A muffled and lazy 'woof' was his response as he crawled across the floor after her to flop down in front of the bathroom door.

Once hot enough, LW stripped and stepped into her shower, feeling like she was in bliss as the hot sprays raced down. She could hear more screeching and a loud 'thud'. Really? Couldn't they wait until afternoon to be this active? LW just shook her head and leaned forward to let the water hit the back of her neck. Five seconds later and a loud 'THWACK' made her jump and glare at the purple mimic that was no rolling around the tub. "Jack damnit! Austin!" Some guard dog. BB tried to snag one of her toes and with a yelp, she jumped out of the shower, reaching down to hold the mimic by his tail. Not only was she not allowed to sleep in, but her shower had been cut short. She turned the water off with a little more force than needed and threw the mimic back into the main part of her room.

"Keep it up terror and I'm locking you in the dresser drawer!" Towel wrapped around her, LW moved back into her room to find clothes. Today would be a lazy day. Very very lazy. Undergarments and tank top she found easily. Now where were her sweat pants...

"BB leave him alone!" LW sighed heavily and went to rescue her batling from the mimic, momentarily distracted from her mission of finding pants.

It was early morning when Ren woke up, much earlier than he would have preferred. He had not slept very well; nightmares had kept him tossing and turning until finally he had crept from his own room (alone, for once, since LW was spending the night with Alessa and Gabrian had had a late night with other things) down, across the campus to the demon dorms, quietly slipping into the nix's room. Once there, he had headed straight for the bed Gabrian had gotten for the rest of them, curling up underneath the covers. Being in someone else's room, being in the same room as one of his three closest friends always made him feel more safe, warmer and more comfortable. He had slept better after that, and did not wake again until he felt Gabrian's fingers brushing his cheek to let him know that he was leaving.

After hearing the door shut, Ren lay there for a short while longer until finally, yawning, he pushed himself upright. Stretching his arms, Ren slipped out of the bed, rubbing a sleepy hand through his bedtime mussed hair. He patted Belle - Gabrian's prima donna wishing secret - on the head before standing up, pressing a hand to his back in an attempt to crack it as he left the room, making his way back to his own room.

He didn't go back to his room, though; on impulse, as he entered the monster dorms, Ren veered left down the hallway instead of right towards the stairs. He wasn't sure if LW was in or not, but he wandered down towards her room anyway, padding along still in his pawprint pajama bottoms and black tank top, absently scratching his arm. He could hear some odd noises coming from the shewolf's room; lots of thumping and a little bit of crashing.

Hmmmm, BB again, most likely. Pushing open the door to LW's room, he said "Wolflove? You in her...."

She was in there, all right - and wearing no pants. Ren blinked. While he had seen her in little to nothing already, it still caused him to stop abruptly, his eyes running curiously down the length of her bare legs, then back up, lifting a brow in amusement.

"What, ah..." he said, leaning against the doorframe and folding his arms across his chest. "...are you doing, might I ask little wolflove?"

Just a little preoccupied, LW didn't hear the sound of her door opening. But she knew that voice all too well. Her violet gaze whipped around to stare at the gryphon for a beat. "Hey kitten!" Then her fingers were bitten as BB attempted to grab the batling that was clutching the front of her shirt. He sort of succeeded. Callix let out a screech and launched into the air, heading for the only sanctuary he could see at the moment. The gryphon.

BB on the other hand, so the open door as his chance to cause his lady master even more headaches. So he let go of the batlings tail and aimed to make it out the doorway. Oh how much fun it would be to have his lady master chase him all around campus! Or maybe he could go chew on that snake's tail?

LW squeaked and bounded after the two pets. She was oblivious to any sort of awkwardness that her current attire might cause her best friend. Only one thing was currently on her mind. "REN! Shut the door!" There was no way she had enough energy to chase that jackdamned mimic around campus! "BB don't you dare!" The she-wolf didn't wait to see if Ren shut the door or not and dove for her mimic. Her small fingers wrapped tightly around the minipet and she clutched him tightly to her as she landed with an 'umph'. BB was not happy about this and decided he was due a temper tantrum. This resulted in him trying to get a good bite out of her stomach which instead turned to him ripping at her shirt.

A heavy sigh escaped as the she-wolf moved to stand and held the mimic out by his tail, glaring at him. He held a generous piece of what once was the front of her tank top. Now it was more like a sorry excuse for a vest. Great. "You are going in the drawer, terror." LW growled and walked over to her dresser, opening up one of the drawers and dropping the mimic in quickly, bumping it closed with her hip. Her gaze went from the thumping sound coming from the drawer to her now ruined shirt. "Gah! All pains." Without even thinking she ripped it off and looked around to see if she could find another one.

And froze. Wide violet eyes stared at her guest, giving him quite the opportunity to see that she was clearly missing a shirt and pants. Whoops! "Uhh, sorry...Ren." Her cheeks might have been just a tad redder than usual while her tail flicked from side to side once or twice. "Rough morning." Maybe...clothes. Definitely should find some clothes! Quickly.

It was chaos in LW's room - utter and complete chaos.

For one thing, BB was attempting to grab Callix, who was attempting to grab LW's shirt. Who, in the meantime, was trying to pry both of them from her, her fingers snatching at the mimic's tail. Callix, on the other hand, let out an impatient and highly offended shriek, flapping black wings and launching himself into the air and towards the first thing he could find - namely Ren's head. He reached up automatically, startled as he staggered backwards, and caught the batling between his hands at the last second.

"Wait, what - ?" he said as LW ran around frantically. Hastily, his foot shot out and kicked the door shut, just in time to see BB's teeth chomp down on the front of LW's shirt, and with a loud riiiiiiiippppp the fabric tore. The shewolf, with a glare at the little mimic, stomped over to the dresser, threw open a drawer, and shoved BB inside. And then, before Ren could say anything, she stripped off her shirt, whirling around -

- and stopping abruptly when she saw Ren standing there, her face turning a bright red. "Er," said Ren, still holding Callix awkwardly in his hands. "You, uh...what are you doing?"

He had seen LW wear next to nothing many times, specifically that little number she had worn to his parents house, so it was not as if he were not used to seeing her like this. But the fact that she was in her undergarments, rather than just some skimpy outfit or a bathing suit, made quite a bit of difference. Ren blinked at her, his gaze moving from her head, then down to her feet and back up again.

"You..." he began, then stopped. What in the world -

"LW..." Ren said slowly, his eyes narrowing. "LW, what's that on your leg..?"

LW was still frozen, watching her best friends face. He just had to time his visit juuust right, didn't he? Well in fairness, her minipets were always terrors. Today was just one of those days. And apparently her mind wasn't fully functioning or she might have considered how her attire was a little...inappropriate right now. But it wasn't her fault!

"I'm...err..." There was no excuse out of this one. And the look he gave her sent her cheeks blazing again. She wasn't used to such things. Such...looks. Even if it wasn't anything more than a curious glance. Clothes! Find clothes! Qui-

The she-wolf froze once again as his eyes narrowed. What...why was he giving her that look...? "W-what is...wha-" MARK! He can see the mark! LW's eyes widened and her tail curled around her leg to try and cover the mark. She backed up away from him, even though he was on the other side of the room. Was there any chance for her to escape out of here? "It's...n-nothing." Her voice was squeaky already, gaze flickering towards her door. There was no way she could make it through that.

Violet eyes met golden ones as one foot slid behind her followed by another. "N-nothing at all!" Dead. She was so dead. LW stumbled over a pillow and that seemed enough incentive to encourage the she-wolf to attempt to get away from the gryphon. Not that she really had anywhere to run to, but if he caught her...

Ren was quite used to the way LW's minipets tended to go a little stir crazy at times; after all, his own had a habit of being very wild and outrageous, so he was not surprised in the slightest to see BB wreaking havoc yet again. He had, amusingly enough, been the one to give her the little beast in the first place, so he should have expected walking in to a scenario like this.

However, what he was not used to, and what he had not expected was to see his best friend standing there in nothing but her undergarments, having thrown off her shirt after BB had ripped it. LW was a free spirited, casual werewolf, but even this was different than what Ren had thought he would see when he walked into he room that day. He blinked, his face rapidly turning crimson in color as he shifted awkwardly from one foot to the other, Callix looking at him with an expression that said put me down already. He had been about to turn around, give her some privacy -

- and then he saw it. The mark, near the top of her leg, on the inside of her thigh. That can't be what I think it is...

"LW," Ren said again, his voice growing more suspicious. "LW, that is most certainly not nothing."

Dropping the very irritated Callix onto the floor, Ren all but leapt across the room towards LW, his hand shooting out and seizing her wrist as she tried to move farther away. "Ohhhh, no," he said, shaking his head. "Oh, no, little Miss Wolf, you are not getting away from me that easily - "

Reaching down, Ren pushed her tail out of the way, attempting to catch a glimpse of the mark again. He had seen something like it before, seen something very, very similar to it, and if he was correct in his assumptions, then the shewolf was about to be in very, very big trouble.

He slid a narrowed gaze towards her face "That had better be a tattoo, LW," Ren said, though he knew it wasn't, still trying to move her tail out of the way.

"I-I...assure you..." She tried to keep her voice casual and not squeaky, Jackdamnit! But it wasn't working. Not when he was looking at her like that. Funny how one minute she was blushing because of the he was looking at her...and another freaking out because he was still looking, gaze just a little different. "It's nothing!" Her voice squeaked as he came at her. She tried to escape but damn that gryphon! His hand locked around her wrist and that blocked any attempt of her trying to get to the door.

Once put down, the batling blinked at the commotion going on...and decided it was naptime. So he flapped over to the hazmutt who was...STILL laying right in front of the bathroom door. His lady master had told him to lay there after all. The two minipets just watched.

He kept trying to shove her tail out of the way, but LW was not having any of that. The red thing kept irritatingly getting in the way of a good look at the mark Ren was trying to see. No. No way. That spark in his eye told her he knew. He knew what that was. But seemed to be trying to convince himself that she, their little werewolf would NOT allow such a thing to happen. Except...she had. Not on purpose! But...yeah. Ren was probably going to throttle her.

Of course she tried to pull her wrist from his grip with utter fail. And the more he tried to look at the mark, the more she tried to twist and move to make it harder. And the look he sent up to her... "It's nothing! Noth-" One foot got caught under a pillow while the other was stepping back. It unbalanced her and as if this couldn't get any worse, the she-wolf fell backwards in her attempt to get away from her bestie, who was not letting go. A squeak, soft 'thump' and red cheeks later, she was trapped. Very much so trapped.

Her tail, unfortunately no longer covered the mark. LW blinked up for a minute before using her hand to cover her face in an attempt to block out the gryphon's. Yep. Dead. With a capital 'D'. The only good thing about this situation she could find was that it was it was just Ren here at the moment and no Gabrian.

If there was one thing LW was not good at, it was lying. She was damn good at evading things, but this did not mean that Ren did not see straight through all of these evasions. He knew her well enough to know when she was hiding something, knew every little quirk of hers to see when she was attempting to slither out of a situation.

This particular situation screamed "I'M HIDING SOMETHING!"

"LW," Ren said again, his wings flapping as he attempted to keep her from pulling away. She was yanking very hard as she tried to free her wrist, but Ren was not about to let her go just yet. "LW, I just wanna see, stop moving, we're gonna - "

Crash.

Some way or another, LW had slipped, most likely on one of the many pillows and blankets littered all over the floor, and within seconds Ren found himself propped above her, LW on her back. Other than the fact that this looked like a very, very bad situation, Ren scowled at her, leaning back (though his cheeks were still inflamed).

"You know, I've seen marks like that before, little Miss Wolf," he said, shoving her tail away and sitting on her legs to keep her from squirming away. "And I'd think it was a tattoo, except I happen to know for a fact that you do not have a tattoo on your leg. Which means, Miss Wolf - "

This last part was said through gritted teeth, since LW was still struggling beneath him, wriggling from side to side, her tail flopped over her legs to keep the mark hidden.

"Which MEANS - " Ren said, still trying to get the words out as he held LW's wrists tightly. "Which means, wolflove, that that right there is a demon mark. And that means you have something to tell me, Little Wolfe Tamaroc."

Having finally finished that morning's work (mainly some errands and homework which had required him to leave the room), Gabrian had decided that he was more than ready to take a break to enjoy a well deserved treat which he'd bought in town on his way back to the school. Alas, when he'd taken one bite out of the extremely colorful, still oven hot cookies he'd bought... the nix had realized that this really didn't taste half as good when he ate it alone. It was almost a foolish thought, really, seeing as how he was well aware that company did not, in any way, enhance the taste of a particular food. Still, the fact he knew the logistic didn't really mean he was at all able to shake the feeling that this just wasn't the same. As such, he'd just taken one large cookie to enjoy on his way across campus and rather than veer towards the demon dorms, he made his way towards the monster ones, well aware that despite the fact he'd left the gryphon sleeping in his room, the other boil had probably returned to the monster ones after a while.

Which meant that... Gabrian actually had three dorm rooms to chose from, and as he entered large building, the nix stopped, "Eeny, meeny, miny, moe..." he drawled out softly, untangling one arm from around the large box of cookies which he held against his chest. The fact he was moving his finger in the air seemed to indicate the demon was actually chanting the rhyme in his head, even if he wasn't speaking it. After a few seconds, his finger pointed towards the right, and with a mild nod, he decided that he'd go try LW's dorm first. He reached the familiar door rather promptly, and after sticking a cookie into his mouth, the demon reached out with a hand to open the door, shoving open with his shoulder only to find...

Actually, Gabrian wasn't entirely sure what he was looking at.

His eyes surveyed the scene of mild chaos in an attempt to figure out just what the jack was going on, but they kept landing on Ren, whom was currently straddling an almost naked LW atop her pile of pillows. His mouth fell open slightly, the cookie he'd been holding between his teeth tumbling over his lips to crash on the ground bellow and for one very long, very awkward moment, Gabrian wasn't even sure if he was absolutely enraged by the scene or maybe just slightly turned on by it.

He was going to go with the former, for sanity's sake, but if the blush that spread across his cheeks was any indication, there was probably a bit of the later in there too. But he wasn't admitting to that right then and there, "What in the-!" his foot shot out and smacked the door closed behind him, his back leaning against it, almost as if afraid someone else would chose that particular moment to walk in too. No one else needed to see this! "What in the world is going on here?!" of course, it was right around then that his still struggling mind (which was having trouble given the fact it had attempted to switch gears without shifting) pointed out Ren had said something about a 'demon mark' just as he'd walked in, "Wait, what?" he was trying very, very hard to move past 'my best friend is straddling my almost very naked ghoul friend on a pile of pillows', and into 'Demon mark' but was having copious amounts of trouble digesting the information, "What the Jack is that about a demon mark?" a pause and then his eyes fell on Ren, his arms still clutching his box of cookies, "And... what... why.... straddling.... I don't- what is going on?!"
PostPosted: Tue Mar 01, 2011 7:29 pm

Yep. They were gonna fall alright. Too bad he hadn't spoken sooner. Not that it would have mattered. She wouldn't have listened and proceeded to try and escape his clutches. Except that backfired on her. LW just blinked up at Ren, cheeks steadily getting redder. But not from embarrassment. Or from the fact her best friend was straddling her. Nope. She was blushing because that meant he would be able to see the demon mark on her leg. Or so she lied to herself. This was just...so wrong in many different ways-

"You don't know that! Since when have you seen my legs bare?" Actually, she was already thinking of a few times he might have, the most notable being the trip to visit his family. But Jackdamnit! She was not going to cave in...HE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO FIND IT YET!

LW kept trying to get free, wiggling and squirming which could not be doing anything good for either of them. Her tail whipped at his hand when he tried to shove it away. No. No no no! It was not a demon mark! Ren was just blind. BLIND! "N-no...I don't think that is what it me-"

"What in the-!"

...OH SKULLS! Her luck couldn't be that bad...could it? Really? IT COULDN'T BE THAT BAD.

"What in the world is going on here?!"

It was. That was definitely a very familiar voice. And one she had hoped would not appear right now. Not while she was trapped under Ren! She was not shocked enough that she quit struggling under Ren. Oh no. LW was not making this easy for him. Or Gabe apparently. She turned her head to the side, attempting to hide her face from her boilfriend while glaring up at her best friend. She was not ready to concede and admit that yes, it was in fact a demon mark.

Ok at this point, yes. Her cheeks were scarlet as was a good portion of her body, seeing as both boils could see this. Was there any possible chance that by some stroke of luck, the ground would open up beneath her and swallow her whole? Was that really asking too much? All she wanted to do was curl up in a deep dark pit and not be seen for a few days.

"You know," said Ren conversationally as he sat on LW's legs, arms folded across his chest while he looked down at her with a mildly interested expression. "You do realize that the more you struggle, the more you deny it, and the more you try to weasel your way out of this, the more I find myself not believing you whatsoever, right."

LW's face was practically burning, her cheeks crimson. Ren raised an eyebrow. "Are you forgetting the little trip home we just made?" he asked, then snatched both of her wrists again as she flailed beneath him, her legs kicking upwards. " - ouch. During that particular trip you were wearing a lovely little lavender number, don't you remember, Miss Wolf?"

He supposed he could have just let it all go. It was obvious that LW was attempting to hide said mark, which meant that A). She was ashamed of it. B.) She wasn't supposed to have it, or C.) The reason for having it was, in fact, something embarrassing and/or bad.

Ren was inclined to go with both B and C, especially since LW kept trying to use her tail to cover up the mark. He pressed her wrists to the floor, staring down at her with a vaguely victorious smirk on his face.

"You are not hiding from me - hey, stop that! "

She was struggling again, her hips bucking, and Ren gritted his teeth, attempting to pin her down so that he could interrogate her properly.

There was a small crash, a thump, then another crash and then -

"What in the-!"

Ren twisted around to see - of all people - Gabrian - standing in the doorway of LW's room, his amber colored eyes as big as plates. There was a box of cookies under one arm, and what looked like a cookie that had been into lying on the floor - Gabrian's jaw nearly mimicked this cookie.

Absolute silence. All three of them stared at one another, as if frozen in place. Then -

"And... what... why.... straddling.... I don't- what is going on?!"

The nix was stammering now, his face a bright crimson red (his wasn't the only one) as he clutched the box of cookies tightly to his chest, as if gripping it would somehow make him understand the situation.

"GAABBBRRRIIIAAANNNN!" Ren wailed, pointing an accusing finger at LW. "SHE HAS A DEMON MARK AND SHE WON'T SHOW ME OR TELL ME WHERE IT'S FROM!"

The fact that he was, in fact, sitting on LW and straddling her was the last thing that came to his mind when he saw the demon.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 02, 2011 6:57 am

It was starting to become clear the the mildly panicked demon that neither his friends were really paying proper attention to him. Some dark, still functional crevice of his mind was telling him that this could either be very good, or very bad. Very good because no matter how bad this all looked, there might actually a damn good reason why his best friend thought that straddling the she-wolf was a good idea; his mind was telling him that it might possibly be related to that whole demon mark thing. After all, wouldn't they have had an explosive reaction upon him finding them in such an incriminatory position if they'd been up to something... that wasn't entirely innocent? Of course, there was still the possibility that they were so into whatever the hell it was they were doing that they just couldn't be bothered to acknowledge him and... well, that would have been the 'very bad' side of the coin.

He was, needless today, still stuck trying to both kick his mind into some resemblance of order and decide which of the previous two situations he was going to go with. Again, his mind decided to go for the former, just to save his rapidly decreasing sanity. Or... it was going to go with the former until the she wolf looked at him, blushed and began to buck away as she turned her head in the opposite direction. Gabrian wasn't sure what had happened here, but... that action cause something in his mind to snap, "LITTLE WOLFE TAMAROC!" it was roared, with emphasis on her surname as the demon slammed the box of cookies on a counter to his right. Apparently, the nix had quite the pair of lungs, "You will stop moving and squirming AND BUCKING this instant, or so HELP me!" he understood very little of what was going on, but Ren's wail was enough to indicate that the situation might just be more innocent than it looked.

Not that LW was helping, because no matter how innocent a situation was, it wasn't going to remain very innocent for long if she kept that up. Simple logic and common sense was telling the demon that Ren was male and... he needed to climb down from the bucking girl as soon as possible, "REN!" he stormed over to where the two of them lay, "MAN! OFF! NOW!" that said, he turned and grabbed the wolf's tail, "What is this nonsense about a demon mark?!" he shot his ghoulfriend a look that seemed to indicate it better be nonsense. Given the fact the gryphon was attempting to look at her inner thigh and she seemed so intent at hidding it... well, that was enough to prompt Gabrian to check that area out for himself, his eyes landing on the mark. Most of the anger drained out of him, and relief washed in at the same time as concern replaced the previous vanished emotion.

"Little-Wolfe Tamaroc," this was growled softly as he released her tail, "You will tell me whose mark that is right now! Or believe me. I'm going to go knock on every single door in the demon dorms, asking whom marked a certain red haired she-wolfe and I will find the demon myself, though not before letting the whole school know about this in the process," there was a clear threat in his voice, but it was nothing like the way he'd spoken to Medieval.

She wanted to hide. He kept giving her that look and she knew she was not going to get out of this. Nope. No matter how hard she tried, it was not going to happen. This didn't keep her from trying still.

Ohhh, he just had to call her out on that one? Jackdamnit. "No. I haven't forgotten it." She mumbled. He had her wrists now. Trying to pull them out of his hands didn't go so well and he pinned her wrists to the floor. LW was losing ways to try and fight back or knock him off. Actually, she was just starting to lose most of the fight in her. That victorious smile was oh so familiar though. And she glared at him, trying yet again to get free.

Except then her boilfriend had arrived and the urge to flee and escape renewed with effort. No, it was not because of being caught with Ren straddling her that prompted this urge. That was currently in the back of her mind now. No it was the fact that a)Gabrian was a DEMON, b)Demon's could tell demon marks from tattoos easily, c)it wasn't his mark. He still seemed to be stuck just standing by the door though, when she peeked over at him again. The she-wolf had to look away again because one look at Gabe made her feel like a little kid about to get a good scolding from their parent over something bad they had done. And, alright, if she was being a little honest, she probably should have at least told the nix about the mark. He was a demon after all. But in a little bit of fairness to herself, LW was still coming to terms with the fact that yes, she had been marked by a demon.

"LITTLE WOLFE TAMAROC!" It was roared and LW cringed. Gabe was either really really angry, or so lost and confused he didn't know what else to do. She really hoped it was the latter and not the former. She tried again to break from Ren's hold only to have him point at her and tattle. The glare turned to a scowl and even with Gabe's words, she tried one final time to get away.

And then the odds changed and she had no chance. Two against one was not fair, Jackdamnit! Her tail was curled tightly (or as tightly as she could with Ren shoving it away) over her legs until Gabe grabbed it. Once he had her tail and shot her a look that made her squirm just a little, LW gave up and slumped against the floor, closing her eyes. She wasn't winning this. Nope. Not when it was her best friend AND her boilfriend tag teaming her. Though as soon as Ren got off her...she might make a run for the door. Maybe.

Her name being growled out from the demon made her feel small and she totally knew she was busted. And the threat he made? LW didn't doubt him one bit. He would do it. And, while she normally wouldn't care about the whole school knowing some things, this was one of those things she'd prefer to keep between their small group. Since she didn't have a choice in not telling them now.

"I-it was...an accident." She murmured, still not looking at either boils and keeping her eyes shut. At least she wasn't fighting them. "Sort of." Oh like that wasn't going to make them want to throttle her more! "I...we...distracted. Very much distracted. I didn't realize what she meant when we made an agreement."

LW really couldn't understand why she was struggling to get the name out. It wasn't like carry had said she couldn't tell people! But she felt, like maybe...oh Jacking hell! LW didn't know. Gabrian and Ren though, and even Alessa...the she-wolf couldn't bring herself to really keep secrets from them. Not the three people closest to her.

"Pride." She said in a soft sigh of complete defeat, eyes opening slowly to look at both of them.. "It was Pride that marked me."

Ren was, to say the least, completely oblivious to the whole "I'm straddling my best friend's ghoulfriend" aspect of the situation. Instead of being flustered and confused, instead he had been very calmly been contemplating the fact that

A.) LW had been hiding something from him.
B.) That something was a demon mark.
and
C.) LW really did have very nice legs (though this last fact was not exactly very important at the current moment).

That, and she kept squirming beneath him, attempting to free herself from under his grip. However, this just made Ren wriggle a bit more, planting himself quite firmly on her legs, his fingers gripping her wrists. Gabrian's yell had done quite a bit of good as well, since as soon as it was said LW cringed, halting briefly in her movements (however the demon slamming a box of cookies on the counter as if to emphasize his point had Ren stifling a laugh rather than be intimidated by it).

"REN! MAN! OFF! NOW!"

Oops. Now THAT was a voice not to argue with. It was Ren's turn to wince now, and with one long See, I told you so look at LW, he tumbled sideways, rolling away. Pushing himself to sit on his knees, he followed suit and peered over at LW as Gabrian moved her tail out of the way. After a long bit of arguing, some squirming, some avoiding the situation, LW finally confessed who it was.

"Pride?" Ren repeated, confusion drawing his eyebrows together. "Who's Pride?"

As soon as he'd gotten the information he wanted, Gabrian let go of LW's tail, lifting his hand to cover his eyes, "Oh, for the love of..." he dragged his hand down to cover his mouth, now actually more deeply concerned than he was flustered; after all, worry tended to take priority in his mind and honestly, seeing as how Ren was off the ghoul and she had stopped squirming, it was getting just a touch easier to process thought, "An avarice demon," this was voiced as soon as the nix lowered his hand, his gaze on the gryphon as he spoke, "Of course it's an avarice demon. Because my ghoulfriend can't go get herself marked by a normal demon; she has to pick a particularly powerful one to do the deed. Picking a normal one would have just made my life easier, arrrrggggg!" his hand lifted and sunk into his hair, rubbing and scratching, almost a nervous tick as he set his gaze on the mark again, "An accident? An accident she says! How do you get yourself marked by Pride by accident, LW? What were the terms of the contract?"

Then again, he wasn't one to talk, seeing as how he'd marked Alessa twice. One on purpose, one on accident, and he was still busy trying to deal with the consequences of his actions pertaining those marks; in a way, it was due to having marked the nagual that Gabrian felt particularly twitchy about this whole ordeal. He was well aware just how much power those damned marks held and just how easy it was to trick people into them with a few good choice words.

Of course, it was right around then that Gabrian noticed his ghoulfriend was still very much nearly naked and that perhaps they should address this point before they did anything else, "LW," his voice had calmed down, having lowered to manageable volumes, though there was still an edge to it that suggested he was, indeed, still upset, "Love," he looked her up and down with his gaze and arched a brow before motioning to the wardrobe, "Clothes. Not that you're not quite lovely, but it's not the time or place," he finally pushed himself off the floor brought a hand up to rub his temples, as if feeling a particularly nasty headache coming on, "What was her name..." he mumbled, "I just know Pride's Livi's ghoulfriend and that she's an avarice demon, which are usually considered as particularly powerful - I don't know anything else about her," and then he turned to Ren, "I'm going to have to track Livi down at some point in the near future - he might know what to do," a pause and he hooded his gaze, lowering his hand down, "When this is over, we're rounding up both ghouls for a chat, on why it is a bad idea to shake a demon's hand, because not one, but both have fallen into this trap. Repeatedly might I add."
