Luthor gave a little yawn, wings giving a flutter as he headed out across the grounds of the Labs with a flap of his wings, trying to wake himself up. It was early yet by his standards but it was an important day, one that he had to get up early for. He paused at the tall, wrought iron gate that stood between him and the outside, starring at it for a moment. His wings stretch out and open, flapping a bit, they weren't big enough for flying but they were good enough to get over things. As such he did just that, pushing himself up off the ground and he landed on the top of the gate, yawned another yawn as he perched there, then hopped down after another fluttering of his wings before he started down the sidewalk.

Today was the day that he was heading for the park, the day that he went to make his deals, and gain his pretty crystals. They hung in a pouch around his neck until he was able to get them set into a necklace that he could wear... though with as many as there were these days a simple necklace would do, would it? He lifted a hand up to touch the pouch, able to feel their power feeding his magic, the magic that was channeled through the ornate golden pen that was tucked behind one of his ears, "Mmm, need to get to work." He murmured, his words causing a little shiver of excitement to go through his magic. It was a sentient force and one that was always happy to 'go to work', to allow for Luthor to get the crystals that made the boy of them stronger.

They always worked at the park, it was a comfortable and welcoming sort of place, one that was best for his job, not to mention that he'd found the perfect place to make his deals, a comfortable bench that was located under the thick branches of a tree. It didn't work as well during the colder months when the leaves fell but still a nice place he thought as he walked along, straightening his coat as he went.

A silent nod was all that the kindness/sloth spawn gave as they walked through the park, on his way to the facility.. He held no fear of the place, for they never did anything cruel to him, and he barely remembered ever being there. In fact, the memories he had of the place were ones he remembered rather fondly. He was born asleep, and was sleeping most of the time too.. But the hands that carried him, the hands that transported him from place to place, that fed him, they were warm. And that warmth was what he remembered, not anything else..

That being said, he was not unsympathetic towards his lover.. They had kept the other bound up, unable to escape for a long time.. And he would hate the facility for it. Even so, it was them who he had to go to in order to get what he wanted to have done..

You see, Almost every day, he was greeted by the smiling faces of his students at the preschool, and tiny voices rang out each morning "Hello Mr. Edes!" In his mind, he wanted to be able to wake up to that, to the sounds of some one tiny, someone innocent, calling out not 'Mr. Edes' but.. Mommy. Yes, he really did enjoy the thought of that.. But all thoughts of that had to be put aside when the one person whom he would ever even considered having a child with had gone missing..

"You didn't have to come, Cody... I know you hate the place..." He murmured, slowing down their walking to a stop, and moving from his side, to stand in front of him, feeling dwarfed by the other's height. His eyes met the emerald pools that were his lovers, and he gripped the held hand with both of his own, pulling it against his chest.

"This is something I've been wanting for as long as I've been yours... To have your child, to know that our love has created something grand, something spectacular.. I know we're not ready for a child, that we're not financially stable, nor are we quiet even married yet.. But I want to know for certain that when we are ready, we can just... Let it happen, instead of worrying whether or not it's even possible.. Besides.. It's better to get these things done sooner than later.."

His hidden hands let go of Cody's, reaching up and wrapping his arms around the other's neck, pulling him down just a bit, and giving him a soft, sweet kiss. It was a reassuring one.

"And if they even think about taking you away from me again, I swear, each and every one of them will meet my fist." It was a light hearted joke, though he did feel like if that were to be the case, he would fight with all he had to keep his lover by his side.

For a moment, he looked away from Cody, out further into the park, where he spotted someone with the oddest shade of hair he had seen in a long time..

"Hey, Cody.. Isn't that.. Um.. Luthor..? It's been a long time, so I'm not sure.."

Cody shook his head dismissively. "No, I wanted to come. My hatred of the facility won't stop me from being with you through every step of this even if it ends with the facility or ends with us actually having a child," he replied softly, determined to be there no matter what. It was just one of the many ways he was hoping to make things up with Edes for all the crap he had to put up with when he was... not doing all too well, so to speak.

Not to mention he was constantly reminded about how much Edes wanted this. His lover never said a whole lot about it until recently, but he had noticed the looks and the day dreaming looks he'd get when they were reminded. From the simple TV shows to seeing couples with kids on the streets, there was no denying what exactly it was Edes really wanted. Anything else was trivial and Cody would stop at nothing for that dream to come true. Getting married, eventually, to the boy was Cody's dream so now it was time to accomplish his lover's through any means necessary.

"Hah, I hope it won't come to that, seeing as I'm sure you'd scare them to death if such a thing happened," Cody chuckled, knowing full well Edes would fight every technician that came his way if they tried to recapture him. "Hm? Luthor? I've never met anyone named Luthor before..." Of course, that didn't mean figuring out who Edes meant was all too difficult. The boy had hair as white as Ary's with a strange glow about it. He was nearly put on edge at the very sight of those glowing white locks, all too reminded of the fights he had with the woman earlier in life. Not to mention anyone that could possibly take his lover away was deemed a threat. No one took what was his.

No one. "Looks like he remembers you. C'mon, lets go say hi at least," Cody continued, hiding his hostility behind a soft smile. No point in ruining the mood with his possessive attitude and occasionally violent nature. Hoping that side wouldn't emerge, the greed spawn gently nudged Edes towards the bench where Luthor was sitting. Saying hello and catching up wasn't going to be that bad... right?

Luthor rose to his feet as the pair moved over toward them, wings giving a flutter. He looked between the pair of them before focusing on Edes, "Its been to long." He said before looking over at Cody, taking in the way that he was standing, how close he was to Edes, just his general disposition and he gave a smile, "Your love?" He asked of Edes, taking a guess at it. He knew the look of one that didn't want to share the one they were with, the same feeling he had when he was with Ciaran or just thinking about him, "You don't have to worry, I am not after anything... though I can tell that isn't quite the same for you, is it?"

He was sure of it, of the two of them it was Edes who was most wanting for something. Interesting given that if he had to guess he would say his lover was a Greed spawn, his features and coloring hinted at him being related to Drake. What was it the other spawn wanted that made him have a stronger desire then a Greed spawn? It really was curious, "I can help if you like, that's why you came here right? Did Lira send you, perhaps?" He motioned for them to come and sit with him if they so felt like it.

Edes gave a small nod at the rather pretty boy, then hooked his arm around his lover's waist.

"My love, my darling, my protector... There are so many different titles that describe him..." Each word was laced with adoration for the taller, pinker male, and he reached out to lace his fingers with the other's, blushing just a bit.

"I don't know a Lira." He said simply, shaking his head. He hadn't ever heard of such a person, for he had met only a few other spawns in his lifetime.

"I am... Looking for something.. I have a wish I have to make, and I'm heading towards the Facility to get it granted.."

Cody shook his head, knowing EXACTLY who Luthor was talking about. "No, we're not going to see him. Though the other available option wasn't all that great either," he replied, not bothering to say who that happened to be. For all he knew, just mentioning the man's name at such close quarters could case him to simply up and appear before them or something else equally strange.

As Luthor offered another way, his eyes looked at him curiously. "You're saying you can grant wishes, yes? I've already seen that they work you've done with Lira," he asked, already knowing the answer while carefully watching him. Calculating as always, Cody was beginning to wonder what kind of price the white-haired spawn would ask of them just to fulfill Edes' wish for children. Probably something horribly high...

Luthor's wings seemed to fluff up in a pleased manner when the greed spawn said that they weren't going to see 'him'. Good, good... that meant he wouldn't be stealing a deal from the guy. While he would do it, wanted to do it to protect the other spawn from him, he was sure the guy would come after him if he learned that Luthor was taking deals away from him. The white haired spawn gave a smile as he looked between the pair for a long moment, then from side to side, making sure that nobody was close enough to overhear what they were saying. He didn't want for them to be bothered at the moment since they were now in the middle of a disscussion about work.

"Yes, I am saying that I can and the price I ask for isn't to terribly high but its something that is quite important and useful to me." Luthor said, giving a smile. He lifted a hand to the pouch he wore around his neck, opening it up and lifted out one of the glittering jewels to let them see for a moment, careful to keep a close eye on the Greed spawn for obvious reasons, "This is what I ask for, these are crystallized memories, obtained from others I have made with deals with. This is what I ask for, the most beautiful or most terrible memories that a person has."

He paused for a moment to give them time to go over what he was saying before giving a smile, "If you like I can take a walk, give you time to talk it over alone?"

"Ah..." Edes responded simply at the inquiry of who was this 'Lira' person, satisfied with the answer. He did not really care too much about it, but listened all the same..

The gems that were revealed to him were gorgeous, glimmering brightly, still, in the cloudy winter light. His eyes quickly darted to rest on Cody, but he seemed to be handling it rather well. As an extra peace of reassurance, the pink eyed boy laced his finger's with the other's, giving it a gentle, but firm squeeze. They were very stunning, and to think.. They were memories..? If every memory he had was turned into a gem, how big would the pile be? Probably smaller than most, since he was asleep a good portion of his life.. But still the ones he had, he treasured.. For memories is what made a person, or atleast.. That's what he thought.

Edes gave Cody a rather stern look, squeezing his hand a bit tighter, though he had a pretty weak grip.

"Don't even think about it. If... If he makes our wish come true, then what will be born of that wish will come from BOTH of us, not just one. It should be fair." He would have none of this heroic act from Cody. He.. Himself.. Had a memory that he wanted to give up.. His worst, and most frightening memory that he held for a long time.
