Ayita pranced in her spot. She was indecisive as to where she wanted to go. The shy mare knew that others had to be near the lake- it was a warm day. Tossing her head, she whirled about and headed towards the stream. Hopefully, it'd be more private, and she could avoid being around many others. She knew she needed to be more social, but she could do that later.
Picking up a slow gallop, she neighed with delight. The wind whipping across her face and through her mane was lovely. Slowing back down to a trot, the mare looked down at her front two legs, making sure that her bracelets were still there. She didn't remember where they came from, and she couldn't remember a time that she didn't have them. With a light grin, her trot turned slowly into a walk as she approached the small stream.

Tejina Suki was in laying down in the stream. It had a few deep spots as she is in one of them dipping her back and wings into the water to cool her off. She is shy and gentle but right now she isn't really paying any mind to what is around her. But her ears go back a bit as she heard hooves walking but she didn't know for where it was coming for.
So she shrugs it off and continues to dip her wings into the nice cool water. It felt nice and there was only her in the area. She isn't good in big crowds so this was nice. Though she wants friends. Just she doesn't know how to go about it.

Blinking rapidly, Ayita was shocked. She hadn't expected to find another at the stream...and she definitely didn't expect to find someone using it to cool off their wings. She snorted lightly. Taking the image in, she grinned at the duel-tone wings. She always thought it'd be fascinating to fly.
"Hi..." She didn't want to leave, and yet, it'd be rude if she didn't say anything to the other mare. A simple 'hi' should be more than enough, in her opinion. Timidly walking closer, but further to the right, Ayita lowered her head for a sip of the cool water. It was refreshing, in her opinion.

Hearing the voice of another mare. Tejina looks up seeing the mainly black mare. She had a green and silver mane and tail. Also her markings were silver and green. But no Horn and no wings. She stretches out her wings fully like she was soaring. She nodded her head watching the mare. She is also timid as she looks away.
"Hello" She hasn't sure what else to do but this mare seemed a lot like her. Shy, Timid, and maybe even gentle. She roars a bit as she flaps her wings to get the extra water off of them. She then walks out of the stream. "I am Tejina Suki" She stated her name while watching the other mare.

Ayita stumbled back quickly when the other stretched out her wings, and then took even more steps at the loud roar. It had startled her greatly. She shook her head, clearing it, before looking at the golden-brown mare again.
"I'm A-ay-uhm...Ayita." She dropped her head, knowing that she needed to quit stuttering when around those she didn't know. Sighing, she looked back up at the other mare. "H-h-how are ya-you?" With a frown, Ayita decided that she would get over her stuttering, one way or another. From the seems of it, talking to others helped, so she might as well start there.

She smiles hearing the stuttering mare. "You are as timid as I am. I am good and How are you?" She is feeling a bit better talking to another shy Soquili seeing it helps her getting over her timid feeling when the other Soquili is somewhat like her.
She folds her wings in and onto her sides. She then bows to the other mare as she looks about the place where they are. "Do you come here alot? It is a pretty spot." She points out as she smiles a bit feeling more at ease.

With a slight smile, Ayita nodded. Just as timid, plus a slight stutter. "I...I am w-well. T-thank you." The more she spoke, the less she stumbled over her words, thankfully.
She shook her head, watching with slight envy as the other mare folded her wings. "S-so-sometimes...depends on the w-weather." Ayita liked the streams on nice days, when it was sunny out...either that or the forest- the rays from the sun as it reached down to the forest floor was always fascinating to her. She gave a slight smile to Tejina Suki, before speaking up again. "It also d-depends on p-population. If there's t-t-too many people a-around, I t-tend to move u-up stream until it's th-thinned out. D-do you come here of-often?"

Tejina Suki thinks a bit on the other mare's question to her. She then tries to find the right words. "No I don't. A friend who is a Teepee mate of mine told me about this place. He knows it isn't crowded and I am bad with crowds." She points out as she smiles liking this mare who is a lot like her.
"I am glad that I am not the only timid one who wanders about." Her soft voice continues as she looks at the Mare.

"N-nice to see that I'm not a-a-alone with crowds..." Ayita was pleased to hear that her stutter was slowly but surely going away, quicker than usual, too.
Knowing that the other mare was timid, too, probably helped out quite a bit. She gave a soft smile, slightly unsure of what to say next. Lowering her neck, she dipped her muzzle into the water. She sighed as the cool, refreshing liquid hit the back of her throat. Looking back up at the other mare, she spoke softly. "So, uhm...w-where do you u-u-usually hang out at?" It was lame question, but in Ayita's eyes, it was progress.

"I am... Normally in the forest where a lot of the crowd stay away so that I am not so jumpie." She points out a bit as she looks at Ayita again. "What about you?" She wonders a bit as she smiles a bit as she looks about making sure no others are there to hurt or spook them.

Ayita nods at the explanation- she had often found refuge in the forest. The trees also tended to provide wonderful shade. At the question being returned to her, she tilted her head to the side in thought.
"A f-f-few places. I-i-it d-depends on my m-m-mood. U-u-usually h-h-here, the l-l-lake or the f-forest." She gave a slight nod, proud that her stuttering was getting slowly a bit better.

Tejina Suki smiling as she is happy that she has met someone like her. "Those are great places." She isn't sure what else to do at the moment though. She wants this mare to do her friend but not sure how to do that.
"Do you have many friends?" She wonders a bit as she looks at Ayita.

Shaking her head, a small frown crossed her face. She really was entirely too anti-social. It was something that she desperately needed to change.
"N-no. I t-t-tend to be t-t-too shy...b-but I am wo-working on it." It was just going extremely...slowly. Ayita knew she procrastinated...but at progress was progress. "D-do ya-you?"

Tejina Suki shaking her head no. "N-no I-I Do-don't ei-ei-either." Her voice was shaky to have to admit it. Her clears her throat as she looks at Ayita once again. "But I am trying. My Timidness though gets in the way and when I am unsure. My voice is shaky. But I know if I try hard. I can over come it. So would you like to become my new friend?"
Tejina asked this mare to become friends with her. Though it was very hard to do. But the two are so much alike that she believes that they can help each other out and maybe over come all odds together.

With a tentative smile, Ayita nodded.
"I wo-would l-l-like t-this v-very much." As she spoke her voice became slightly more steady she noticed with relief.
"O-once I w-warm up to s-s-someone I don't st-st-stutter as much." she said with a grin. She knew her issue, she just didn't know how to fix it. After all, you can't really put a time limit on something like that, could you? Then again, if she made more friends, maybe she'd be more confident, and that would help dismiss her stutter.
