"Here! Jus'.leave.me.alone.for.like.an.hour!" Bleez hissed as she shoved some money at her younger brother, Ciúin. The Wrath girl wanted little to do with him on a good and since this wasn't a good day, he wanted nothing to do with him. Bleez had been forced to take him out with her by their mother, Moira. She figured that she could ditch him at the local candy shop while she went and took care of something. What could happen, right?

Ciúin shoved the money in his pockets as he tried to watch his sister's lips, reading what she was saying. "But mother said that I need to stay with you." His normal, hard staring bore holes into his sister, so much so that she had to look away.

"Whatever,you'll.be.fine!" she huffed, turning him around and shoving him through the door of the shop.

As soon as he was inside, his stomach took over, growling as the sweet smell of candy wafted in the air. Bleez was long gone before Ciúin even noticed she was gone. He was in sensory overload right now anyway. So many colors and scents. And what would it all taste like? He couldn't wait!

Ciúin was still mesmerized by the fantastic smell of all the different sweets when Valerie and her mother strolled inside. Where should he start? A large grin crossed his face as he spun around, seeing all the different aisles. Then he saw the little spawn and the pirate standing next to her. His spinning stopped and his grin shrank until it was replaced by a quizzical look. "Hello, are you here for the candy to?" His chubby tail swayed back and forth as he waited for an answer.

The large Gluttony boy's head tilted to the side as he tried his hardest to understand the little girl. He'd gotten better at reading lips, but only if the person he was conversing with had a rather good speaking ability. When Valerie had finished talking and looked to her mother, Ciúin looked to the woman as well. "Oh, I see. I have problems hearing, so I read lips." His tone was rather flat, but not mean in anyway. He was just stating the facts. "My sister left me here."

A broad smile plucked at the sides of Ciúin's tooth maw. "Thank you, I am trying very hard to learn it so it is easier to talk to people. I know sign language, but most other people do not." His smile vanished when Allure mentioned his sister. "I do not know when she will be back."

Ciúin looked back down at the little spawn when she started to speak. He gathered more of what she was saying this time. "Your name is Valerie. My name is Ciúin. Would you like to look at the candy with me?"

Where to start? Ciúin looked around. For the most part, the store was divided in half, chocolate and non-chocolate. He glanced from side to side, trying to figure out which side would be best to start on.

In his glancing, Ciúin saw some candies that looked like multicolored hearts. He looked back at Valerie, seeing heart-shaped gems on her head an tail. "Look, heart candies." He pointed and plodded over to the container that housed the candy. Taking up a pair of tongs close by, he grabbed a pink candied heart and held it up. It was really rather large, for a candy. But it was also somewhat see-through. While holding it up for Valerie to see, he read off the description, "They are flavored sugar hearts." After reading, he looked back to Valerie to see her reaction.

Ciúin held the candy slightly out of Valerie's reach. It wasn't because he was teasing her, it was because he'd read a sign that said not to touch the candy with anything but the tongs. "I do not think we are to touch the candy with our hands." He pointed to the sign he'd read earlier with his free hand. "I think it is to prevent germs." He looked back to Valerie, hoping that was a good enough explanation.

The candy heart was put back in its place as were the tongs. Ciúin's eyes followed the direction in which Valerie was pointing. He nodded at both candies he was shown, "They are pretty."

He was actually kind of enjoying sharing his time with her. "What kind of candy do you like best?" he asked as they walked around the store.

The boy nodded, grasping what Valerie was trying to say. He began searching the different candy descriptions for the flavor she'd specified, but he didn't see anything in this aisle. He'll check the other ones later, right now she was pointing to the spider gummies. He chuckled a little, something rare to him. "They look like spiders." He glanced over and saw some that looked like bears, octopi, worms, and even fish. "Oh, those look good!" He pointed to the fish ones. Ciúin loved fish.
