With a slow moving current it isn't much of a threat. If your a regular height the water only comes up to your ankles and the smooth sand on the bottom is peaceful. It leads to the pond, then out the other side and continues towards the cities.

Kaiz walks into the center of the river, it barely reached the top of his toes, he breathed in the fresh familiar air of the forest and began to follow the river to the pond.

He is the last Tempest Dancer,
The last master of the decapitation dance.
