The Lycans have nestled themselves into the forest being at home among the tall and ancient trees. The large, ancient redwoods south of Abysmal Haven serve the lycans well as there is much game to be caught for those who can curb the blood lust. But for those who cannot, however, the surface is never to far away to run of with a human kill. However, within the forest in several clearings one will find huts. Of course not all Lycans live in the huts, some prefer to travel in the large expanse of the forest while others choose to live in caves. But the huts are for those who have taken a human for a mate. Of course there are always many different breeds of Lycan who live here as well and most stick to their own kind. To read about the different kinds go here!

Sam walked into the forest smelling all the new scent but not paying close attention to any of it. He walked past the huts and a few caves allmost hidden completely if one wasn't looking for them and walked on coming to a decent sized pine tree where he tryed to concentrate on his claws getting sharper as he breathed in and out.His hands trying to remain in human form and other then his hair growing darker but otherwise he remained human and he began to scale the tree his claws and his strength the only things keeping him from falling and breaking his neck. He reached about a the midsection of the tree where the branches still held firm enough to hold his weight and he sat there dozing off listening to the new sounds and smells and fell asleep on the branch his hair growing lighter and his claws retracting as his breathing slowed down and he fell asleep his eyes still open.

CLAN LEADER M I A Mia scented a new lycan and began to search for him. As the leader it was her job to meet every lycan within the forest and her job to keep them in line. She stopped by a tree and sniffed it's bark. Ah....so he climbed.... She noticed the claw marks and sat at its base. She figured he wouldn't have climbed up there if he didn't have his reasons and she wasn't about to startle him.

Sam awoke with the light breaking throuh the topmost branches leaving speckeled spots of light over his front and legs and as he tryed to smell the forest he smelled another lycan below him just bareley sinc the wind didn't carry it too far. "Hello? Is anyone down there?" Sam stretched on his branch hoping he wouldn't snap it and come hurtling on top of whoever was down there.

Crimson felt the humidity of this jungle like place. Vibrant green plants were in abundance here and almost all the trees were covered in some kind of colorful moss or vines. This place was far different than she was used to and so far she didn't like it. She felt so uncivilized and primitive. She extended her razor sharp nails and used them to assist her in climbing a tree. She pierced the bark like butter and propelled herself higher to get a better glimpse of her surroundings. Crimson was able to pick up a few scents on the air and found herself to be bored. She could see huts and then caves in the distance. She shivered at the very idea. She sighed, "Guess I better go introduce myself."
Rather than run on an uneven surface she jumped from tree to tree, stabbing through the bark and watching the sap ooze from the wound. The smell of it was caught in her nose and tantalized her taste buds. Crimson's bright red hair moved against the currents of the air and the long black and white straps of her outfit ruffled with every movement. She was getting closer. She was hit with the scent of one of the lycans she had noticed earlier. She turned to look in the direction it was centered at just in time to reach the next tree she had been jumping towards. She heard him speak and she moved her eyes to the ground where a female was. The way she held herself made her seem like she was the leader.
Crimson retracted her nails and immediately dropped from the ancient tree. She landed effortlessly, a small wave of water droplets were disturbed. Crimson carried herself like a leader, like royalty. She didn't mean to disrupt anything but it was in her blood. She gazed upward, "I'm down here."

Sam smelt the new wolf coming as she came to the tree he was at with whoever was underneath him. "Great, and which one of you are the leader here then?" Sam noticed the authority in Crimsons voice but hadn't even heard Mia say one word but they allmost screamed leadership from their stance. Great i'm being introduced here by the leaders, what joy. Sam could hear his own voice in his head dripping with sarcasm at his remark and was lucky the difference in height wouldn't let them see him roll his eyes.

Crimson's ears could easily pick up his words. This one had an attitude, she kind of liked that though. Lycans with charming personalities really didn't get far or at least that's how it was where she was from. She began to toy with her hair, twining it around her fingers. She noticed the scent of the other Lycan, it was an odd mixture she made a mental note that she had special breeding. Crimson spoke to the lycan still nestled in the tree branches, "I'm not the leader," she had a faint Italian accent that could only be heard on certain words. She nodded in the direction of female standing next to her, "She's the leader, I'm just a humble drifter seeking refuge." It left a sour taste in her mouth to say that. Oh, how the mighty have fallen. She released her fingers from her red hair and lazily crossed her arms across her chest. "Why not come down here so we can have a proper introduction," she suggested.

The sounds of birds chirping brought Schuyler back into the world of reality. Her eyes stirred open and she sniffed the humid air that surrounded the jungle.
She had been roaming around the Crimson Underground alone, although she had made friends with other races, until she was finally told of a place of only Lycans are allowed to stay in, and she had a very strong feeling that she would belong there.
Schuyler hoisted herself up atop a tree and continued to sniff around to see if there was any Lycan in sight other than herself. All of a sudden, her muzzle picked up a scent, making her jump down the tree and follow it.※ ____✠ Schuyler Dawn Bane ✠____※

Sam leaped off of the tree and angled his heals to avoid as much damage to his feet as he could on his lanidng that made his hair loose with the fall as it fell over his eyes. "So would this be better then?" Sam looked at the two other lycans and smelt another one farther off but coming their way.
Sam looked between the two wolves the leader was allmost impassive but the other let on that when she was bored or nervous shed play with her hair as he leaned against the tree he was in and felt the holes where his claws went in on his back.

Crimson's eyes drifted in the direction of another lycan. "Well, I guess it's a party now. Too bad there's no booze." She wasn't one for socializing with large groups of people but this number was comfortable for her. She turned back to see Sam landing his dismount. She looked at the leader, it seemed she really didn't speak much. She wanted to mumble something under her breath but knew better. Crimson studied Sam momentarily, he seemed young for a lycan. The younger ones almost always had this certain attitude about them, which wasn't a bad thing but sometimes it wasn't good either.
She crossed her feet and released the tension in her muscles simultaneously which caused her to fall to the ground and into an Indian style seating position. Crimson then yawned, "I suppose introductions should wait until the other gets here, I rather only say this once." She brought her elbow to her knee and rested her cheek upon her hand. She realized waiting to introduce herself after she made Sam come down from the tree was kind of rude. She gazed up at him, "I can say it more than once." She didn't extend her hand in greeting like the humans did, she just merely introduce herself. "I am called Crimson and I hale from a foreign place that has yet to be discovered," hesitated, "Well maybe it has...it's been ages since I've been there but anyway...what's your name?"

Sam turned toward the sound of the other wolf coming as it got louder and more distinct as he turned his attention back to Crimson. "My names Sam Beaumonte, other then that I don't know anything else." Sam looked towards the leader and waited for her to say something but was awarded with silence and he started to claw absently at the tree not really thinking of anything just doing it as something to do other then nothing.

Crimson sighed again, "I'm bored. Are you bored, Sam?" She gave him a half hearted smile before she allowed herself to lay her back against the ground and closed her eyes. The cool feeling of the humidity on the leaves was soothing. She heard Sam making a noise and opened one of her eyelids to investigate. "Yeah, you must be bored. It doesn't look like there's much to do here." She uncrossed her legs and allowed them to lay flat against the earth like the rest of her body. She then tucked one of her arms under hear head while reaching to pick up a leaf. She summoned a flame and watched it burn and sizzle as the water evaporated from within. After she was done she picked up another and began to repeat the process.

Schuyler stopped short as soon as she picked up a new scent... "There's three of them," she muttered under her breath. From a distance, she could see two of the lycans talking, while the other one just stood formally, in a professional manner.
She was new here, and it would be best if she would make friends with these lycans, although she wasn't sure if they would welcome her sudden intrusion. Her paws crushed the leaves that had fallen on the ground due to the season as she approached the lycans. "Erm, hi." She breathed. ※ ____✠ Schuyler Dawn Bane ✠____※

Sam kept carving the tree behind him trying to spell out his name. "I'm really bored and still tired a bit." He began to yawn exposing his fangs but no sound came out it was a silent yawn, and he heard the new wolf come towards them. "Hello to you too, we've been waiting." Sam started to stretch a bit trying to get the woes of sleep out of his system as he looked into the new lycans eyes, just something he did. Sam started to feel tired again and he allmost wished he could be back in his tree the sun on his face sleeping like usuall but he didn't want to be rude to anyone here and by want he knew he would pay for it later.

Schuyler's head tilted a little to the right and glanced at the three lycans in front of her. 'Might as well introduce myself...' Schuyler thought. "I'm Schuyler Bane. I was told of this place by a friend." She looked around her and noticed their low tired aura. 'Wow. I'm as bored as them now.' The peaceful sound of the hustling of the leaves and the chirping of the birds made Schuyler want to resume her slumber but that would be a rude thing to do because she was new here. She claws extracted from her nails and she hoisted herself on to a fat branch.
"Wow. Looks like there's not much to do here, huh? By the way, is any of you the leader?" ※ ____✠ Schuyler Dawn Bane ✠____※
