Azzo sighed as he sat down on the couch in the living room, it’d been a few months since the ordeal with finding out Polaris was Aurora and Aurora was Polaris, Melody had broken his heart, he had run into Paris, and Azzo had come face to face with a scenario that almost meant he was frozen to death. He was sitting there with a paper in his hands that was rolled up with a neat little seal on it.

Since Barren Pines Azzo hadn’t known what to do with his life, he wasn’t the type to flirt with girls or be overly forward, he was like his grandfather in a way that he was interested in Psychology and Hypnotism but he had fallen out of studies with them since Gramps has passed. He still worked with puppets and still enjoyed making kids smile, Azzo chuckled as he remembered the first time he owned a Marionette. He wasn’t much older than ten years old and those were the days, nothing was overly complicated, no skirted girls running around, his Gramps was teaching him hypnotism, Grams was in the kitchen. They lived out in the country then...

Azzo’s honey brown eyes were in a daze, the country; it was the best place ever in Azzo’s opinion. No traffic, they could sit on the front porch and sip sweet tea, and he could listen to one of the neighbors’ play their guitar when they finished helping out around the farm. Gramps was a man of many faces; however Gram’s managed the farm and kept hired help around for such things, as she couldn’t handle it while Gramps was off giving seminars and signing books. Then there was Chris, they often times would sneak off to play when he was visiting his aunt and uncle...

Azzo sighed, how he wished that Gramps was still around, that he could apprentice under the old man and have listened more intently and taken a more active interest. When Azzo had been sent to a boarding school to better his talents things started going wrong, he’d missed Grams and a lot of others. Then Barren Pines, a school he couldn’t remember, but he knew people from there... A shake of the head, Azzo wished now he never left the country.

He was staring at the diploma in his hands, now no longer would he have high school as a thing to do during the days. He’d have more time to think, more time to wonder, to question himself. He frowned deeply; things were both going to go really bad for a while or maybe they’d turn around and look up.

He closed his eyes feeling a pressure on his leg, one eye opening to find his Dog’s head resting there. “Hi Merlin...” Azzo said softly, before sitting the paper on the table beside the chair. “What do you say me and you go for a walk before it gets dark?” He asked with a smile before getting up to get the pup’s leash.

If nothing else... Azzo thought I can look into psychology classes somewhere… It was something to help him keep himself sane. Since he couldn’t properly help the senshi without them thinking he got in the way and to keep him from dwelling on the past and all his failures and let downs, Azzo sighed hooking Merlin’s leash to his collar.

If only Melody or Aurora could walk with me... I’d have someone more to talk to… someone that could answer me back... Heck I’d take talking to Paris again if it meant I had someone to talk to. With dark thoughts in mind and without someone that didn’t slobber all over the place Azzo took Merlin for a walk. “Happy Graduation Day to me...” He muttered as he walked out the door.
