One of my friends is having serious troubles in her life right now, effects of long-term emotional damage. Her parents split up; her mom (who she hasn't seen in five years) has had five kids all by different dads; her grandma, who she wants to live with, is dying and she can't go see her.
She's asked eight guys out this year; they all said no. She feels ugly and unloved, and I don't know what to do. She's getting suicidal.
