Not just about wether or not to go the March trial. Although I doubt that'll happen given the timing and uncertainty of things.
I'm talking, skiing is my favorite thing in the world, and as much as I want mother nature to dump several feet of snow and for that snow to stay a long time so I can go carve up the mountains. I'm also anxious for warmer weather and frisbee season. I seriously need to move to BC guys.
Anyway, tonight I made a small breakthrough. I held a handstand, without leaning on anything, for like, five whole seconds! lol. I know it doesn't seem like much, but, we're that much closer to putting this killer move in our routine. A friend has agreed to be my workout buddy and we want to get/stay fit together by summer. We're doing free workouts at lululemon sundays together. This weeks is cross fit. Looks intense. We're also doing at home workouts since we're both broke and busy with the whole full time student plus job thing. So she texts me her workout vice versa, we try to like, do it together even if we're not together.
I've started swimming again. And of course I'll keep skiing.It's scary how out of shape I got so fast. In September I was biking 2hrs a day and today 15mins of swimming had me exhausted. I really miss training 5 days a week all morning long. The whole pool rat life with syncro, diving and swim team. I'm no good and self discipline, I need other people telling me what to do lol.
Anyway, I know this is all a lil random. I'm just anxious like I say, guess I needed to vent a lil. I wana go outside and just practice my double disc throw but it's way too cold. But I don't want it to be warm cause I still haven't done nearly enough skiing. Orford this week, then Tremblant, hitting the US March break for smug's and whiteface..
Oh and you guys will be the first to see the handstand weave once it's ready. I'm keeping it as a surprise for my friends/competitors though smile
