None of these were edited, just scanned and uploaded. They do look a bit gray on here vs in person though....

I'm thinking I'm going to do my Project, for the end of the class, on Nature and Beauty. But its not completely set in on what I want to do sweatdrop

The first one, I love the tree but the landscape is mostly black

I think your orange came out best. smile Nice shape, nice composition.

the 3rd is nice but the arm closest to the camera is awkward. This wasn't a self portrait w/o a tripod was it surprised

4th - I LOVE the sky and the utility lines but the ground is black sad

5th, very cute but a bit over exposed.

and how dare you already have spring cherry blossoms when it's still cold here and sleeting!

Anyway, thems my 2 cents! smile developing IS fun huh! I always liked doing the film too ... but we had blackout water fights ^_^

Yeah I wanted the first one to feel more dark, its a trashed fill river thing that stinks when you walk past it. Though you can't really see the garbage...... I didn't want it to look pretty or happy lol

I love how that orange came out <3

Oh god no, I was afraid of that though
Thats my sister, not me
She had her arm over her stomaic(sp?) so it does look like a self portrait....
I'll probally re-take that one

Yeah you can see that cattails better in the original.
Its definatly darker when I scaned it into my computer
But I did want to focus to be on those clouds 3nodding

Yeah I have a better one thats not over exposed that I'm working on printing today
I might post my newer ones up later if I get the time lol

Yeah I live in the vally of California, everything starting to bloom
Thank you so much smile

I think with the pic of your sis, if you crop just above her arm, it makes it all better.
Too bad your scanner's messed with your contrast. Keep in mind I was just nitpicking, these are great photos!

They look just a tad flat to me. adding a bit of contrast and playing with the curves could make them look better. Or if you want to make them look great as a print, try adjusting the color (yellow or cyan) of your light while you're printing them.

I LOVE printing photos. It's very relaxing to me. ^_^

Developing, on the other hand. . . is a chore. sweatdrop

A tip that my B&W film teacher gave us: Photo paper is expensive! when you're doing your test prints use 1/2 sheets to save paper. That and "The Trashcan is a photographer's best friend" were his favorite things to say. xd

They are flat because my computer scanned them in flat, they have more contrast in person.

And I never use a 1/2 sheet for a test print.... you only need about a 1/5, 1/2 is still a waste xp

But these ones are pretty old now since they were my first ones. I have tons more now that I'm done with that class 3nodding
