The second floor of Impel Down. The prisoners here are only marginally stronger than the ones in level 1. This being said the floor is over run with blood thirsty beasts such as, basilisks, manticores, and others. With these various beasts, prisoners kept here are forced to be chased by them through the corridors of the level. Because of the fearsome danger, prisoners often either lose the will to go on, or refuse to escape even when their cells are unlocked.

"The Gentle Demon""I've seen it all and done it all,Lucas whistled as they entered the second level of Impel Down, "Well, this place seems dull" he would say as he looked around, "Hmm, I could have sword that there was something on this level, but I just can't remember" Lucas scratched the back of his head as the two walked deeper into the level, but were stopped by the screams of some prisoners, followed by what could be presumed as footsteps, and by the sound of them, very large and heavy footsteps. "Oh yeah, I remember what is on this level" Lucas said as he turned around to face Marik, "Beasts" he said as they soon found themselves surrounded by many beasts. As he looked at the beasts surrounding them, Lucas would merely sigh, "You can handle them. They aren't as strong as the Demon Guards, so I don't want to waste my, sword" he said as he sat down right in the middle and waited for Marik to finish them all off.

Marik walked behind Lucas only to find himself surrounded, Hearing Lucas and seeing him sit down Marik sighed as he eyed down the beasts. "I will take care of them." Marik said as he stood in the middle of the beasts and didn't say a word, soo a beast from in front and behind him charged at him both with killing intent. The beasts neared as they were just about to make contact, Marik shifted into smoke forcing the two beasts to collide killing each other and solidified on their bodies. Marik looked at the group as they all attacked at once, Marik shifted once again suffocating two of them at once. Marik then solidified once again with five left he smiled, four lay lifeless beneath his feet. The five beasts stood looking at Marik, Marik used 'White Launcher' shifting into smoke and launching into one of the beasts and solidifying causing the beast to hit the wall an fall unconscious. Marik turned to look at the beasts, two of the remaining four charged at him. Marik used the same attack, shifting into smoke he launched himself at the charging two opponents solidifying Marik clothes lined the two charging beasts. Marik kept his eyes on the two beasts still standing, the two that were clothes lined lay lifeless on the ground behind Marik. The two beasts that still stood backed into the dark and disappeared, "Looks like the remaining beasts realized they were outmatched." Marik said as he walked up to Lucas, looking down at him he lit a cigarette and blew the smoke into the air away from them both.

"The Gentle Demon""I've seen it all and done it all,Lucas smiled as he saw even more of Marik's power, "Like I said, scary" Lucas said as he stood up when Marik walked beside him, "Well, I guess now it is smooth sailing from here. I'm pretty sure no one will try and stop us now, especially since we just took down at least half of the forces in here" Lucas looked for an exit, "You know what, it seems like things are going a little too easy, if you know what I mean" he said as he found the stairway to the final level, "Lets go, after we make it through Level One, we are home free"
