Taku mumbled something under his breath, his eyes trained on a few trinkets and gadgets. The metal instruments, which vaguely resembled some kind of medical equipment or torture devices, were sitting in a venders cart. The balding man explained that the machines no longer worked, but were very good for spare parts. Taku really didn't care if they worked or not, since he was there looking for exactly what the man was offering him. "Cheap metal....old, but it seems strong. Well kept." He nodded, then picked up a few of the most devious looking things, holding them out. "I'll take these." After he'd paid the man, with what little money was left in his pocket, he hefted the bag of metal goods over his shoulder and started down the main road of the market.

Nira was going to be upset he'd not gotten himself any food, but he at least had a nice large steak to offer her as an apology. "Besides...I can hunt if I get hungry." He muttered again, causing a few people to glance his way nervously. He never even glanced at the crowds of people, his back straight and his head held high, as if he felt he was better then them. He knew what the people were thinking. Young man walking around in a bloody labcoat and talking to himself? Yea...better avoid that one. Like he really cared. He sighed, looking up at the sky for a moment. "Almost home...just gotta get out of he-" He cut off, stumbling over someone who hadn't moved out of his way. "Damn it, what the hell is your pro--" He cut himself off this time, blinking down at the small little miss from the theatre. Well s**t.

Tamisin gasped loudly as she felt something knock into the side of her head. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to be sitting in the middle of the marketplace walkway, but Tamisin had to recheck a few of her belongings inside her bag. "Ow!" she yelled out, rubbing the side of her head where she figured she now had a large lump. Tamisin rubbed her eyes and pushed the glasses up her nose as she looked up to see Taku. "Y-you," she stuttered as she stared at him. She made a face as she blinked away and pushed her trinkets back into her bag and stood up. "My problem? What's yours?" she asked, dusting herself off. "It's not very nice bumping into people like that," she said glaring at him.

Taku blanked at her, his expression as blank if he were staring at a wall. His head tilted to one side, then his eyes narrowed slightly. For a moment, something akin to rage flashed through his eyesm but it was gone as quickly as it had come and he just blinked at her again for a few more moments. "...You're in my way." He said, voice light as if he hadn't heard her even speak. "It's very rude to keep someone from their work, you know." Still, he didn't make a move to actually walk around her. She was the one who'd been sitting in his way after all.

"And what work would someone like YOU have to do?" Tamisin asked, crossing her arms as she stared at Taku. The young girl wasn't scared of Taku any longer. She shook her head and sighed deeply, blinking away from him for a moment. "You're very rude, you know that? The least you could do was to apologize," she said. Tamisin raised her head and brushed the side of her head where he had accidentally hit. She lowered her hand and looked to her fingertips. A loud gasp escaped from her vocals as there was blood on her fingers. "Look! You made me bleed!" she felt her hands shaking. Tamisin could feel her stomach turn and her eyes water. She hated the sight of blood. "You're an awful man, Taku!" she yelled, turning around and storming into the crowd. She ran to a near merchant that was selling mirrors. She started to look at the spot, pulling her hair away from the wound. She sobbed quietly as she reached into her bag and pulled out some tissues, dabbing the little cut.

Blood? Taku tilted his head, staring after her before he smiled brightly, his eyes lighting up. He pushed through the crowd after her, his grin firmly in place when he finally got up to her side. "Hey, come with me." he commanded, taking her hand and giving it a gentle tug, trying to pull her along like a little kid would. He waited, watching her with that same big smile he'd had on before when he was on stage and she'd given him tips on his and Nira's act. "I need your help with something."

Tamisin shook her head and quickly pulled her hand from Taku's. "Why should I help you? Why should anyone help someone who's a rude, awful man?" she yelled out, eyes glaring at the young man. Tamisin quickly shoved the blood stained napkin into her bag. She raised her head and looked to Taku. Her eyebrows furrowed as she noticed a smile on his lips. She shifted a bit on her feet for a moment or two. "What...what do you need my help with?" she asked him softly.

Taku grinned, as if her yelling at him didn't even register. He took her hand again, giving her another tug. "Come with me!" He insisted, looking at her again. "I need you to get me with blood." He stated, as naturally as one would ask for a glass of water. The people close enough to them to hear what he'd said quickly shies away from both him and Tamisin, leaving a good two feet of empty space between them. Taku ignored them as they started gossiping. He didn't care what they said or thought. They were just flecks of dirt on the worlds existence anyways. His eyes met Tamisin's, searching them in honest eagerness. "Please?"

Tamisin looked to the people around them with flushing cheeks. She hated how everyone was staring at the two as it made her feel more nervous. She could feel her heart race and her breathing quickening. "T-Taku," she whispered as she turned to the young man. "Why do you need blood?" she asked him. Her eyes lowered to his hand as it held onto her own. She bit onto her bottom lip and sighed deeply. She shook her head at a thought and then nodded. "Fine," she finally said with another deep breath.

Taku's smile returned full force as his hand tightened around Tamisin's. He didn't squeeze hard enough to hurt her, just enough to hold on to her as he turned and started leading, or rather insistently pulling, her through the crowd and toward the outskirts of the market place. "Nira and Sirona said no blood, but thats because Sirona didn't want me to hurt Nira." He scoffed, rolling his eyes. "As if I would ever let anyone make Nira bleed. She's too precious for that." He argued, sounding as it it was obvious he'd never meant to use Nira's blood in the act. "But since Nira won't intentionally make me bleed, I have a plan!" he grinned back at her over his shoulder, his eyes flashing brightly. "I just need blood that isn't actually mine. See?"

Tamisin gasped as Taku began to lead her away from the busy marketplace streets. She looked at the people around them as Taku spoke, but did glance at him a couple times. She bit onto her bottom lip as some of the townspeople chattered about Taku and Tamisin. She knew they were talkign about her. Tamisin wanted to scream to them that she wasn't evil or bad. That Taku was all to blame! But she kept her tongue and remained quiet. "N-no," she spoke as Taku finished speaking. "I don't see. Why must you use blood? It's a horrible thing," she stated. "Blood is what keeps everything alive. Why put it in your act? It's a disgrace if anything," she said as she looked at the back of his body.

Take stopped suddenly, turning to face her as if confused. "People like seeing blood shed." He said, confusion written all over his face. "It's part of the entertainment. That's why you see people use it in theater shows when there is a battle or attack of some kind. It makes everything seem real, more dire....Isn't that what people like?" He asked, frowning as he watched her. "Don't people like the realness of those plays...?"

Tamisin made a face and shook her head. "Blood makes me sick," she muttered. And sure enough it did. Her stomach would turn at the sight of blood and even more so of it belonging to her. "It all depends on the viewers, Taku." Tamisin smiled softly as she looked at him. "A lot like bright, beautiful scenes filled with romance and..." she paused, looking away from him for a moment. "And love," she added with blushing cheeks. She finally looked to Taku. "Do whatever fits your personality. And by looks, adding in blood would be appropriate. I just dont want any part of it," she said as she stepped back.

Taku blinked, not understanding why she was so against the idea. He frowned, looking down as he let go of her hand as she was stepping back and away from her. He didn't understand why it was such a big deal. Blood was a natural part of living and breathing. Didn't that make it okay? His eyes narrowed as he looked at her, his lips forming a pout. "But I need your help....I don't know how to do stage makeup and props like that. Do you?"

The corners of Tamisin's lips curved into a smile as she looked at the young man. Suddenly, laughter escaped from her vocals. Her eyes closed as she laughed loudly and shook her head. "I haven't a clue, actually" she said. She stopped laughing, "but I'll help you with the stage makeup. That's the only thing," she said. "I dont want to be apart of the whole blood thing," she said. The smile on her lips seemed to blossom for a moment as she looked at Taku. She held her hand out for him then.

Taku raised an eyebrow, looking at her in confusion. "Then....you'll help me with my props too, right?" He asked, confused. "I can get someone else to help make the blood, but attaching my arm myself is going to be really hard." He took her hand, uncertain if she was actually going to help him or not. It made him feel very unsettled, and he almost told her to forget it before he turned and started leading her, much less eagerly now, toward the end of town that gave away to a small forest. "I have all of the dynamics of it figured out, but I need help with the skin."

Tamisin followed behind Taku with a warm smile on her lips. "What's the storyline of your act?" she asked him. "Every act does have a story behind it. Or so, that's what I've heard." Tamisin released his hand as the neared to the edge of the woodlands. She pulled her head back and looked up at the sky. The bright sun lingered above in a cloudless leaven. She closed her eyes as she felt the warmth of the sunlight against her face. It was so inviting and welcoming that she couldn't stop smiling. Tamisin opened her optics after a brief moment and looked to Taku.

"What do you mean you need...?" she paused, stepping up beside him. "LOOK TAKU!" she pointed at a field of wild flowers. She giggled in delight as she ran ahead into the field and sat down. "Aren't they beautiful? Feel how soft the petals are!" she began to pick a couple, settling the bag down beside her. "Buttercups, daises, tulips!" she smiled. Tamisin reached into her bag and took out Rune. Tamisin settled the egg beside her as she laid back and closed her eyes. A light breeze dancing across the land and playing with her hair as she looked up at the sky.

Taku blinked in complete confusion, then disappointment filled his eyes and he looked away. He let his bag fall from his back with a loud, metallic crash, then shoved his hands into his pants pockets and slowly walked toward her. "I don't get it...What is it with girls and flowers?" He muttered, glaring at the bright plants as if they were swamp sludge. "Some have leaves, stems, berries, and roots that contain toxic compounds." He tilted his head, leaning over to smell a tulip. "I guess if one wanted to make a non deadly poison, they'd come in handy...." He murmured, thinking outloud.

Tamisin lightly laughed as she stood up and walked to Taku. "That's not the point, Taku. And would it seriously kill you to say something positive for once?" she smiled as she handed him a flower. "Take it. Feel the soft petals and way each flower smells as delicate as the next," she said. Tamisin took the flower and began to pull off the petals, placing them on his shoulders. She laughed softly as she reached down and picked another flower, handing it to Taku. "I've always loved flowers," she said looking at the wild flowers. "My mother and I always talked about starting a greenhouse. We'd have all sorts of flowers! She was always fond on roses," she said. The smile on her lips blossoming as she spoke of her mother, but soon that faded and her eyes watered. She wiped her tears away as she sat on the ground again. Tamisin sighed and shook her head. "Im sorry. What um...what do you need help with? Shall we begin?" she asked, looking at Taku.

Taku looked at the flower she'd handed him, his eyes losing focus as he became lost in thought. He came out of his when she sat back down again, then handed her the flower that was in his hand. "Nira likes flowers too...She told me not everything has to have a reason." He looked at the flowers again, frowning. "I don't get it..." When he remembered her asking what he'd needed again, he brightened up, his face breaking out into another grin. "I'll go get it! Hold on, I'll be right back." He nodded, turning to grab is bag and disappeared into the forest.

The way his moods changed, one might almost wonder if he was bi-polar. It took him a good 15 minutes before he appeared again, a new bag over his shoulder. He walked over and sat beside her, not bothering to take care not to trample the flowers in his path. He plopped the large sack in front of them, then pulled out what appeared to be a cold, flimsy human arm that appeared to have been severed at the shoulder. "This." He announced, smiling as he held it out to her. "I need help putting this on."

Tamisin's face became pale as she looked at the severed arm. A loud gasp escaped from her vocals as she quickly stood up and shook her head. "No, no, no! I'm not dealing with this!" she stomped her foot on the ground before walking to her belongings. She quickly threw the strap of her bag over her shoulder and scooped up the egg. "I-I'm sorry, Taku. I am not a good partner for this job you ask of," she said with her back facing him. She bit onto her bottom lip as she began to walk away from him then.

Taku sat in silence for a moment, his confusion evident on his face as he watched her gather her things. "You...dont like artificial limbs either?" He asked, before looking at the arm again. He frowned, then shoved the arm back into the bag. "Cant handle blood, cant even stand fake limbs. Tsh....like I need the help of a damn child anyways." He grumbled, standing up and glaring after her. "....stupid, weak humans." He growled, his eyes dark as he started back toward the woods. One day, he wished every one of them would vanish off the planet. Blessing it'd be to every dragon on the face of the world, if all the ilk of the human plague vanished. "Good ******** riddance."

Tamisin glanced over her shoulder to look at Taku. She sighed deeply with watery eyes. "I-I'm sorry," she whispered softly as she turned her head around and started walking back to the marketplace. "Look who it is," a familiar voice snickered. Tamisin stopped walking and looked ahead to see a small group of girls staring at her. Her cheeks flushed and her body shook in fear. She took a step back, but one of them quickly ran to her and slapped the young girl across the cheek. Surprised, Tamisin fell down with the dragon egg falling out from her grasp. The small group chuckled as Tamisin cried.

Taku grumbled his way back to his little encampment, his eyes narrowed. He'd actually thought the girl would help, and all she did was run off like a baby. He sighed, then paused when he heard a rather loud, and very displeased, growl. Of course, Taku knew that Nira wouldn't be happy when she learned he'd bought more gadgets instead of food, but her punishment? That he'd never actually sat down and considered. It was barely a second after he'd walked into camp that she chased him back out, a new and rather full coin purse in his hand. Where or how she'd gotten it, Taku didn't know and didn't ask. He never had, ever since Nira had started providing for him as a tot.

He grumbled and cursed all the way back into town, but once there, he paused. His eyes swept a group of people who were gathered in a circle, and his first thought was, 'Oh, some entertainment.' He grinned a little, walking up expecting to see some men decking one another or something. Instead, his eyes narrowed when he saw Tamisin on the ground crying, with a bunch of girls picking on here. And the people surrounding them? He growled, shoving past the onlookers who weren't doing a damn thing to help. His eyes hardened to emeralds as he looked at the girls, walking to the little miss's side and gently picking up her egg. "Come on, Tami." He said softly, reaching down to touch her hair. As much as he did not like this girl, he despised when people ganged up on a weaker person. One on one was all well and fun, but only cowards grouped up to attack.
